《More Than You Realize》Chapter 44: They're... Leaving?!

"Okay. I should be able to do this... and then some of this spell..." Alex mumbled waving his staff around some. Everyone watched intensely. While I was wanting the two siblings to stay, I wanted them to get back home to their people. I mean, isn't Alex suppose to rule their kingdom.
"Are you sure about this, Alex?" Mary asked unsurely.
"Of course! This should wor-THERE WE GO!" Alex exclaimed happily once a portal formed. We all flinched at the sudden loudness is his voice.
You could see through the portal and out the other side. People exchanged worried glances as they saw the portal. However, smiles came to their faces when they saw Alex and Mary.
"Hey! It's the prince and the princess!" someone exclaimed happily.
"Prince and princess? I thought Alex was the king!" I said with a slight glare. Mary and Alex both flinched and looked towards us worryingly.
"Uh... well... you see..." Mary stuttered.
Void Steve asked a little angrily. To be honest, I'm a tad mad myself. I mean, it's not a huge lie, but to claim something like that?! It's not the best thing to say about one's personality.
"Well... I'm sorry. I just wanted to seem supreme to you guys..." Alex muttered while scratching the back of his head.
"Called it!" Tyler exclaimed. We all flinched, including Alex and Mary.
"Wait, what!" Alex exclaimed. "How?!"
"Most kings don't do the thing you two do. Honestly, you two seem a little bit more rambunctious than a king would act like. Another thing, normally, a king would have a defining feature to them to make them stand out. I've read in a hybrid's case, it's their combined feature (the animal or beast they are mixed with). I figured for you, it would be your wings. However, your wings are the exact same. If you two are really brother and sister, which I don't doubt, then Alex's wings would be different from Mary's."
Everyone fell silent. The only sounds were from the exclaimed people on the other side of the portal. They were shouting for their "prince and princess" to come back home.
"H-how did you?" Mary stuttered in shock. Ty deadpanned and pointed to his demon wings.
"I'm a hybrid as well you know. I've done my fair share of research since I've become one," Ty said crossing his arms and closing his eyes.
"Since you've become one?" I questioned. "Were you not always a hybrid?"
"Huh? No? I thought you all caught on to that," Ty said. "Did you not?"
Void Steve mumbled in disbelief. Ty blinked a few times.
"Huh..." he mumbled looking up at the sky. He let out a small chuckle. "We will save that story for another time."
"Yeah... we need to get going," Mary said sadly. We all turned our attention back to the siblings. I let a small, sad smile spread on my face.
"We're going to miss you guys..." I said before engulfing the two in a hug. They both hugged back.
Everyone else soon joined in on the hug.
"Be safe," Kylie said squeezing the living crap out of Mary. "Awe... now I'm going to be the only girl of the group."
"Don't worry. Now that we know how to travel between dimensions, we can visit anytime we want! Well, when we have the time..." Mary said.

"Yay!" Kylie exclaimed while pulling the only other female into a tighter hug than before.
"Well, I guess we will be seeing you guys in the future," Alex said before leaping through the portal. Mary nodded her head with a small smile before leaping through herself. The portal didn't waste another second to close.
Everyone stood in complete silence. Small shimmers fell to the ground from the spell Alex had casted. I looked back to our reduced group. No Rainbow Steve or Galaxy Steve. No Alex or Mary... All that's left is me, Jake, Void Steve, Kylie, and Ty. Why does everyone leave? It's not only recently, but in the past.
"Sabre? You okay?" Ty asked tapping my shoulder. I flinched, causing him to flinch as well. I shook my head and gave the best smile I could.
"Yeah! I'm just thinking, is all. I'm fine, though," I said before walking away. "Just give me a little bit of time, okay? I have a lot on my mind."
Everyone gave a nod, but all looked upset in some way. All looked worried. Great, that's the last thing I want them to feel, besides pain of course.
I walked through the forest nearby until I reached the river Void Steve and I were just at. The water moved steadily in its flow. My figure as distorted because of the waves from the water rushing against the rocks.
I let out a sigh before sitting down. I just stared into my reflection in the water, not really knowing what else to do. I just need to be alone and reflect, I guess.
"It's so hard isn't it?" I heard a mocking voice ask. I knew that voice, but it seemed impossible. I growled before turning to face an ex-friend of mine.
"Spency? Sorry, Spencer? How and why are you here," I growled before standing up. However, I was pushed back down by his hand. He sat on top of me and kept me pinned to the ground. "GET OFF OF M-"
Spencer had cut me off with his hand. Everything after that was a muffle, including my cries of help. I tired to toss the traitor off of me, but he didn't seem to budge.
"Shh... you don't wanna worry your friends, now do you?" Spencer taunted. I called down a little bit, but I glared at him. I wasn't quite sure if he could tell though. "A glare is fine. I expected it after all."
This can't be real. No, he's a figure of my imagination. I watched him die in front of me!
"You're probably wondering how I'm alive, right? Well, it's a simple story. I faked my death. Don't think a simple stab would kill me. I regenerate, so I pretended to die and let everyone go home happily. I heard Krill's little disappointment speech, and I found it amusing," Spencer said with a taunting smirk. I licked his hand to make him remove it from my mouth. He flinched and glared in disgust. "DID YOU JUST LICK ME! EW!" He wiped his hand on his cloak to get my saliva off.
"That makes no sense! A stab to the heart kills! How!" I yelled. He smacked me cheek to get me to shut up. I winced in pain.
"I'm stronger than you think, Sabre. I'm way stronger than before thanks to Krill giving me powers," he snarled. "You are weak compared to me. I will always be stronger than you, and there is nothing you can do about it."

I glared at Spencer once again. His smirk grew in the darkness, but I didn't show the fear that lingered inside of me. Spencer's hands tightened around my wrists he had pinned to the dirt below.
"What will you do, Sabre? You have no one to help you. It's just you and me, and no one else," Spencer whispered into my ear. I shivered at the feeling of his breath against my ear. He let out a dark chuckle.
"I think you forget who you're dealing with," I growled as Spencer's face came back into view. Spencer smirked. "You think you're more powerful than me, but haven't even seen me when I'm mad... heh, ."
Spencer flinched a little bit at the darkness in my voice. However, it quickly changed to a smirk.
"I am more powerful than you," Spencer proclaimed. I smirked myself.
"," I growled before emitting some fire from my body. Spencer didn't even have time to react as my fire threw him off of me.
Spencer let out a grunt of pain as he landed on the ground just a few blocks from Sabre. A searing pain coursed through his body from the fire. More of the pain was in his back.
Sabre stood up slowly, letting his breathing get heavier. Spencer used his arms to prop himself up, but he still couldn't stand up all the way.
Spencer flinched and began to shake in his spot.
Sabre's terrifying smirk and bloody clothing gave Spencer chills. It would anyone! His chicken onesie looked shredded to almost nothing, but still kept it's firm hold on Sabre's body. His bandana has blood on it, but didn't look touched at all. Spencer assumed his eyes looked insane under the black fabric.
"O-okay, Sabre. We can talk this out, right?" Spencer hoped as he scooted away from the insane figure. Sabre's head twitched to the side.
"" Sabre's exclaimed as he drew a fiery sword from thin air. ""
"Sabre, you've lost your sanity. You need to calm down, please!" Spencer begged. He had realized his mistake in betraying Sabre more than once.
Sabre didn't say a word as he continued his walk towards Spencer. The closer he got, the more scared Spencer got. Needless to say, he was a little scared of the powerful human before him.
Sabre stopped not too far from Spencer's scared position. His fire-like sword blazed and emitted much heat. He brought the sword up to Spencer's face, and he flinched from the immense heat.
"" Sabre exclaimed before drawing his weapon back. He swung the weapon at Spencer who saw his life flash before his eyes.
Sabre breathed heavily. The blood disappeared from his body, and the fiery sword disappeared with it. What happened? He didn't remember what just happened. However, everything came rushing back when he saw the dead body-uh... parts of the body.
He was definitely dead now. He may be able to regenerate, but his head can't be reattached to his body and still be alive.
Sabre felt the blood stop its circulation path through his body; leaving ever part of him a shaking mess. His lips trembled in fear and shock.
"No... nonononono! Th-this was even worse than when I first "killed" him! This... this is horrific! What have I done?!" Sabre exclaimed while running a shaking hand through his sweaty hair.
"What have you done, Sabre?" a taunting voice demanded. Sabre could hear the slight smirk in his evil voice.
Slowly, Sabre's shaking body turned towards the taunting voice. The familiar looks of Krill filled his vision. His evil grin made Sabre grow anxious. What was he going to do?
"I-I... I didn't mean this..." Sabre mumbled while shaking his head back and forth in denial. Krill hummed and watched as Sabre continued to mumble, "I didn't mean it. None of this—I didn't want it. No... I didn't..."
"Oh, Sabre. No one means to do such a thing. It just... happens. Don't worry, now you're for sure Spencer won't be trying anything ever again," Krill soothes standing Sabre's left. His right arm wrapped around Sabre's shoulders, letting his right hand claps over Sabre's right shoulder.
Sabre looked over to Krill, obviously not happy about how close the villain was.
"Krill," Sabre warner dangerously. "Back. Away. Unless you want to end up like Spency, I highly suggest backing away."
Krill stared into Sabre drenched bandana. A few tears dripped from under the fabric, showing that he was crying.
Krill put his hands up in defense and began to back away from Sabre. However, Krill didn't look scared. Sabre decided to ignore Krill, and instead stare at the bloody body parts of Spency.
"Sabre; no one means to do things like this. However, you do know this makes you a known treat to your friends, do you not?" Krill smirked although Sabre couldn't tell.
"How so? They never make me mad like did," Sabre commented. The venom in his voice pierced through Krill like a knife, making him flinch. He, quickly, recovered from the sudden venom.
"But what if they do? Just one time, Sabre. What if they're trying to joke around, but you take it the wrong way? What if you don't like it, and they won't stop? What will you do if you lose control?" Krill taunted with a smirk.
Sabre remained quiet. What would he do? Let it go? Bottle it up till it breaks? Was there any good way to go about it? He didn't think so.
He shook his head, denying the taunting message Krill was trying to deliver. Sabre's muscles twitched as a result of him keeping his emotions inside of him.
"I... I won't! I WON'T!" Sabre yelled before letting all of his emotions out.
As a result, many of his powers left his body in a wave of power. Leaves were blown off of the trees and water sprouted out from its rapid place in the river. It sounded as if an explosion bursted through the atmosphere.
Finally, to make the incident well known, smoke filled the charred landscape. Everything that was left standing was covered in black soot. The only thing untouched was the owner of such destruction.
Sabre stood tall in place, though he was breathing quite heavily in the process. He looked like he was a bystander who happened to cross the charred area from when it happened so long ago.
Spency's body was covered in the nasty soot as well, but didn't look touched besides that. Sabre looked around for his target. However, he never saw anything of Krill. In fact, everything with Krill seemed like only a figment of his imagination.
