"Grandmother, I'm home!" Miku announces as she enters the small english tudor home.
"Oh, Red, you're back...You took longer than usual...." Grandma Megurine says as she continues making dinner.
"I'm sorry grandmother, I lost track of time playing with Kaito."
Miku sets her red hood on the coat rack and takes her red pump shoes off at the entranceway.
"It's fine my dear but....You're almost 16 and I worry. Many dangerous people enjoy hurting pretty, young girls nowadays so, please, be careful." Grandmother Luka sets two green basins of hot porridge on the table. Miku sits down.
"Alright, I'll be careful...Itadakimasu!"
"Itadakimasu."
They eat their dinner with handcrafted wooden spoons.
"So Red,"
"Yes?" She looks up from her bowl.
"When do you plan on becoming wed?"
Miku nearly chokes on her soup. She wipes her chin and regains her posture.
"E-Excuse me?"
"I want to see my granddaughter get married before I pass away...I'm not going to live forever and you're certainly not going to be single forever!"
"Grandmother!" Miku's cheeks flush pink.
"What? You're pretty enough to get yourself a husband....I'm just saying..." Grandma Megurine finished her porridge and so does Miku.
"Alright alright! I'll get married someday, just don't say those things! It's embarassing..."
Miku stands from the table and takes up the bowls.
"I'll wash the dishes tonight..."
"Ok, but rest well, you have a big delivery tomorrow.~Goodnight" Grandmother Megurine leaves the room.

"~Goodnight!" Miku cleans the kitchen and heads to bed.
As miku climbs into the sheets, she notices a crimson red twinkle in the woods. She looks out the window more closely. She thinks to herself, Is that...a boy? Wait...are those....dog ears?.....
Ah! Miku, Go to sleep already! You're probably just seeing things.
She turns away from the window and climbs into bed.
"Big delivery tomorow huh?....I wonder what it is..."
Little red dozes off.
~next morning~
"~oh Red....Wake up honey....wake up..." Grandma Megurine tries waking up her granddaughter but fails to do so.
"~Red....There are pancakes-"
"Pancakes!" Miku jumps out of bed and runs to the kitchen.
"W-Where?...."
"Good, You're awake. Now hurry and change, you have to deliver that big package, remember?"
"Oh! Right...." Miku dashes to the room to quickly change. She even applied makeup to make her seem more innocent and sweet. Not too much! But enough to make her seem more angelic. Miku comes back into the kitchen.
"Alright grandma, I'm ready!" Grandma Megurine hands Miku a basket filled with dainties.
"Be careful Red, and don't eat the goods!"
"Yes Ma'am! I'm off!" Miku waves her grandmother goodbye. She digs into the basket to find the directions. Miku thinks- Grandmother always hides the directions to the location I'm suppose to go to inside the basket...I don't know why though...
Miku walks for a little while until she comes across a small river. She checks her map to see if she crosses it or walks around it. Miku walks around the river's edge but stops to get a close up look at the radiant water.
"A bridge?...There's no bridge around here....." She checks her map once more.
"Red?" A boy with sporadic blue hair gently taps Miku on her shoulder.

"Ahh! K-Kaito! Don't sneak up on me like that, I could've fell...." Miku folds up the map and places it back inside her basket.
"What are you doing out here?...are you on another delivery?" He asks her. His gentle blue eyes filled with curiousity.
"Yes, but I won't be able to make it if I can't cross the river....."
"Hmm....maybe you could just walk across." Kaito sits on the edge of the river.
"That's impossible! The river is too deep, I can't swim , and the goods might get ruined." Miku slumps her shoulders. Kaito blushes. An idea comes to mind.
"Well....I COULD carry you across the river-
"Oh! I see the bridge! Look, it's right here, on the map!" Miku points at a circle on the map. Kaito looks away, disappointed.
They begin following the path.
