Narrators's POV

Miku and Kaito walk until they see the bridge. Miku checks her map again to see if she was in the right place.

"All right! Let's go!"

"Hold on a second Red. Do you really think this 'bridge' is safe? It looks unstable..." Kaito sets his hand on Miku's shoulder. Miku ignores him and walks on the bridge with a confident strut.

"You've got to stop being so uptigh-"

Miku falls through a hole in the bridge.

"Red!"

Kaito runs up to her but is too late. Luckily, as she was falling, the basket stayed on the bridge which means the goods stayed safe.

Anyway

Miku falls into the deep, fast-flowing river. She tries her best to swim and call for help but fails to do so.

Somewhere near, A blonde man with wolf-like ears and tail sits in a tree, eating an apple.

He watches as Miku is taken away by the strong current.

"Hmm...She's cute...It'd be a shame if a girl such as pretty as her were to drown..."

The man jumps out of the tree and cuts it down. The tree falls in the middle of the river. Miku sees it and quickly grabs a loose branch that is attached to the tree. She grabs onto it but it breaks.

"Ugh....So troublesome..." The man cuts down another tree and walks on it until he is in the center of the river. He sticks one hand in the water and digs his sharp nails in the bark. He waits until he feels something on his hand and grips it. Miku is unconscious as she is brought back up to the surface. The man carries her back to land and sets her down on the grass.

He examines her face to see if he has to preform CPR. He waits a few minutes until finally, she wakes up, coughing up water. The man climbs back up the tree to prevent her from seeing him. Miku looks around her surroundings, confused.

"Where...am I? I don't remember walking all the way here..."

"Red! Red!" Kaito runs up to the soaked Miku with her basket in his hand. He hugs her tightly.

"Red! I was so worried! I'm so so so sorry!"

Suddenly, an apple falls on his head.

"Ow. Wha-" He lifts his head and 3 more hit him in the face.

The blonde takes Miku's hand and begins running. She's so baffled about what's happening so she follows the stranger.

After a while of running, they stop to catch their breaths. Miku slaps the blonde's hand away.

"W-Who do you think you are? You have no right to just grab me so forcefully and run!" She puffs her cheeks which make her look cute but feisty.

"Pfft! Ahahahaha!"

The Blonde laughs. Miku stands there, offended and slightly embarassed.

"W...Who are you?"

"Len Kagamine. I apologize if I startled you in any way but.....Who is that strange, blue-haired man that seemed like he was suffocating you earlier?"
