Today was the day the new Avengers movie had its premiere in New York. And my friend, well it's complicated. We have been on a few dates but aren't official but we basically act like we are. She asked if I would be able to fly from England, where I play soccer for Arsenal, to New York to be her date for the movie

And I told her a couldn't. And even tho she tried to play it of as nothing I could see the hurt in her eyes. So the next day I talked to my coach and he let me go knowing I wouldn't back down

So ten minutes ago I landed in New York and got into a taxi to take me to the hotel. I have one day to get the yet lag of then we have the day of the premiere and the day after that I fly back late at night

As I stepped into the hotel I got a call from my close friend and agent, June. "How is New York"

"Like New York always is" I said sitting down in the lobby knowing my friend is good at talking. And we talked for about 15 minutes before I could feel people looking at me

"June. I love you and all but I think people is starting to recognize me and this was supposed to be top secret. So what did you want"

"Yea, sorry. Two things. One Vlatko called for the games in June. So are you in this time too?"

"Yes, you know I am"

"And second of all I got a few other calls. Your contact ends with Arsenal in just two months and I have got offers from two clubs in England and one in France"

"You know I'm only moving if I moved back to the states and get to see Lizzie" I sighed remember how much I miss her smile

"You want to be close to your girlfriend. How cute"

"She isn't my girlfriend"

"You wish she was. Any way. I also got calls from Utah, Orlando, Gotham, San Diego and Angle city in LA. So you can pick which one"

"Send me the details for San Diego and the Angles. You can call the rest and say I'm politely saying no"

"Got it boss. Now do what you needed to do"

"Yes ma'am" I answer before putting my phone away and grabbing my keys from the guy in the reception.

When I get to my room I quickly unpack before quickly looking over the contacts before falling asleep trying to fix my jet lag

And when I wake up the next day Lizzie's makeup and hair team show up in my room and get me ready before basically running out and to Lizzie's place which is an apartment she uses every time she is in New York

I continue reading the contacts before I have to put my suit on. Which is a very good looking suit that lets me show of my left arm which is covered in permanent inc

I grab an Uber and got to the venue with not much problem. I got their and hour before everyone else so that I could avoid the paparazzis and go unnoticed.

I then stood right be the door ready to walk out as Lizzie's co-starts showed up. I hugged Evans who I have met a few times. And then Mackie and we talk on the regular. A few more pasted before Chris H told me she was next. I gave him a thank full smile

Once again the flashes started to go off so I slowly started to walk out hands in my pockets. When a was about five steps down we made eye contact and her face broke out into a big smile as she quickly walked over to be trying not to fall in her heels

She basically jumped onto me as we hugged tightly the paparazzis taking photos of us. "Though you wouldn't come" She say into my neck

"What do I not do for my favorite girl" I said as we pulled away and I offered my arms as we walked inside

The flashes inside wasn't as intense and more organized as we walked the carpet. We took some pictures together and she took some alone as I stood and watched awkwardly

We then made it to the small interviews and she insisted I would be with her. So I stood with my hands in my pockets as she hugged my arm close answering the questions

The first two didn't look at me but the third one was a man. Maybe in his twenties. He asked a question about the time on set before he turned to me. "And y/n. Big soccer fan by the way. Lizzie's new lover?" He questioned

I laughed lightly before answering. "No, we..."

I was rudely interrupted by a voice behind me. "Not dating my ass" The black widow actress said as she put herself in between we and Lizzie. "Let me tell you what's going on. These to cuties right her has been on seven dates and is practically in love they just haven't told each other yet"

"I hate you" I stated

"No you don't. Especially not when you call me for dating advice"

"I'm sorry to break it to you but I would never call you for dating advice. Because you my friend has been married three times and we know how the first two went"

"Okey, I know but you haven't had a girlfriend since high school and you are 30 now"

"You would think these two are siblings by the way they bicker" Lizzie said before she thanked the guy and started moving forward

After that Scarlett stayed with us and we did interviews together before we got to the cinema where the three hour long movie soon started playing

The movie was good. I cried a bit when Nat and Tony died but other wise it was good. We went to the after party before we found us in Lizzie's apartment

"Thank you for showing up" She said hugging me as we stood just inside the door

"You know I wouldn't miss it and the look in your eyes when I said no broke my heart" I said kissing her head

"When are you going back" She asked looking up at me

"Tomorrow night. So we have tomorrow together" She looked down kinda disappointed. "But I do have some good news too" She looked at me again

"I got offered contacts to play in both San Diego and LA. So I only have to go back for two months and then I'm back here and we'll I wanted to know which one you think I should take. Because well. I really like you. And would like to try us out. Maybe move in together. Considering we both have houses there. Just try and if it work I can sell my house and..." Her lips on mine stopped my rambling. I was shocked but it didn't take long until I kissed back and it quickly turned into a passionate kiss

When we pulled away she spoke up. "I have wanted to do that for so long" U smile down at her before she continued. "Well wouldn't LA together sound good?" She asked leaning on the wall

"As long as you are there" I answered before pulling her closer again. "So was my good"

"It was perfect" She said before she pulled me in again
