"Do you think Blake will like me better in this Red dress or the velvet blue one?!" Khrysie showed her fellow cheerleaders the picture of her dresses on her phone.

"Aren't they the same?" Hailey one of the juniors asked.

Khrysie glared at her. "Hailey darling seriously, you're not helping."

Suddenly the doors of the gym opened and in came Nile walking with heavy feet as if she's woken up at the wrong side of the bed. She sat beside Khrysie with her arms crossed.

Khrysie turned to her. "What's wrong hun?"

"Ram!" Nile complained. "He escaped the campus again, only the gods know where he's been going every time he leaves." She said with frustration.

Khrysie joined her in ranting while the other cheerleaders all agreed with them. They are the Eres cheerleaders, only the tallest, slimmest and prettiest girls gets accepted in the squad, their squad is also known to always win the sport tournaments with other schools, in other words they carry the title of all time champions.

The door opened once again making all the cheerleaders eyes turn to it. They all turned quiet.

"Lonnie! Come here!" Khrysie broke the silence and gestured Bellona to come to them.

She stroded towards them, even by just walking can make her ever intimidating. Her face was like a goddess, no flaw can be found.

Khrysie clung to her arm. "Why are you late?"

"Council meeting."

"Oh." Khrysie nodded. "Soo we planned of going shopping later." She giggled.

"We did?" Isabel asked.

"Whatever Belly, now as I was saying, I need to buy some clothes for the after party at the end of the tournament."

Bellona crossed her arms. "The tournament isn't yet starting."

"But it's best to be prepared." Khrysie clung to her arm again and pouted. She nudged Nile and Diana to help her out.

"Please." Diana said. "I also need to buy something for Aiden, I want to give him a present when he wins." She giggled.

Bellona raised her eyebrow to Diana. "Aren't you yet over your 6 year crush on Aiden?"

"Never, I shall wait till Aiden will reciprocate his feelings for me." Diana blushed at the thought.

What does this british girl love about Aiden Wyatt? Bellona thought to herself.

"But that Paige girl keeps sticking to him!" Diana complained. "And do you guys see how my Aiden looks at that Paige? Ugh!" She crossed her arms.

Khrysie added. "Wait did you girls also notice how that Paige keeps following my Blake?!"

"She sounds like a slut." One of the cheerleaders said.

"Absolutely!" Khrysie exclaimed. "And you Nile." She pointed to Nile. "Do you not see how close she is to Ram?"

"She is?" Nile scrunched her eyebrows confused.

Bellona rolled her eyes, getting annoyed by her friends drama sessions.

"How about you Lonnie." Khrysie faced her, the rest of the squad did the same.

"What about me?" Bellona raised her eyebrow.

"I see her with your fiancee' from time to time." Khrysie crossed her arms. "Don't you see what that commoner is doing?"

Everyone started mumbling.

Diana started. "If I only knew that Aiden was interested with commoners who are short, blonde and next door neighbor, then I should've moved to his village and live next to his house so that he would look at me the same way."

"Are they next door neighbrs?" Hailey asked.

"I thought they were friends?" Isabel wondered.

"Should we tell Eloise to spy on her? Nile suggested. "I heard they're both in the track team."

"I mean she isn't even that pretty, why would Aiden like her?" Diana complained.

"I think I saw her one time with Kile Astley in the supermar-"

"Enough!" Bellona shouted making everyone quiet. "Let's start training."

"Whatever you say Lonnie." Khrysie stood up. " Anyways My 10 year crush for Blake shall not fade" Khrysie smiled and the cheerleaders oohed. "And you." She faced Bellona. "Aren't you gonna get your fiancée something when the soccer team wins?"

Bellona didn't answer. "Fine we can go shopping after training."

The girls squealed. "Now lets start!" Bellona said with an authoritative voice, As the head cheerleader she must discipline her squad.

All the students were called at school before we train for a half day of classes to keep up with our academics and so that we could see the schedule of the games next week. I walked through the hallway with Blake. He seemed very determined to start his training.

I felt my shoulder numb since my gym bag's quite heavy but I didn't say a thing. A woman doesn't need a man to help at every time a burden comes in life. A woman can stand on her own. I laughed within at the quote I just made.

I noticed Blake's eyes on me. I turned to him and found him starring at my bag.

"Is it heavy?" His question seemed caring but his voice sounded like he demanded an answer.

"I can handle heavy." I smiled at him and continued walking. Why would he care?

We walked going to our classroom. My eyes widened when I felt the sling of my bag slip off my shoulder and out of my arm. Why do people always get my things without my permission?!

I frowned and faced Blake but I got shocked when I saw Aiden behind me giving me his playful grin.

"Hey Peggy!" He brushed my head.

I glared at him and punched his shoulder but he just laughed. Blake just stood there watching us.

I tried getting my bag back but Aiden went walking ahead of us with my bag slung on his shoulder.

"Hey Puppy." Blake said.

I turned to him expecting him to say something but instead he threw his gym bag into my arms. "What on earth?!"

"I know you can handle heavy." He smirked and walked past me.

And here I am walking with his huge and heavy gym bag. The nerve that Blake!

"Great job Bennet!" Coach complimented me. The classes went in a flash and trainings started.

I smiled. "Thank you coach."

I owe this to Aiden, if he didn't make me run after him every summer back when we were kids, then maybe I wouldn't have this speed.

I walked to the side benches where my other teammates are. Ella, Our captain held a clipboard.

"What's this about?" I wondered.

"Our competitors." Ella said.

"We have opponents from Beltane, Angeles and Brayntler, the top schools of the country, Beltane would be a challenge they've got Gwendolyn, she's hella fast."

"Who's gonna race with her?" a junior asked.

"Me." Ruby grinned.

The captain read her clipboard and told us how long should we run and who our opponents are. "Paige, you're on the 200 meter run, same as you Eloise." Ruby said. "You two will race last."

I nodded.

We trained the for the rest of the day and I got exhausted. I took a shower before I left the field.

I walked to the football field and searched for Blake amongst the football players. It's hard to identify especially when they all have caps on. I checked my watch. What time will Blake's training finish?

"What are you doing here?" Eloise questioned as she walked past me.

"I'm waiting for someone." I smiled.

She eyed me then smiled back and left. I'm sure she's going to tell her group of friends especially that Russian doll Khrysie.

I looked back at the players. Where's Blake?

"Hi there are you Paige? Captain's Puppy?" A junior football player approached me and asked.

I wanted to roll my eyes or glare but I didn't want to scare him so I just smiled. "Where is the Jerk?" We planned to go to his villa for dinner with Kile and Ram, tomorrow will be with my friends.

The junior gulped. "He tasked me to tell you that he won't get to pick you up, he has something urgent to attend to."

Wow what could be so urgent for him to not get to tell me himself?! "Ok tell your captain tha-."

"He said someone else will pick you up and take you to his villa." He added.

Someone else? "Who?"

"Me." A low voice from behind me said.

I turned around and there stood Kile, he was wearing a white v neck tshirt and shorts, he looks fresh from the shower. Looks like he's been soccer training because he's holding a soccer ball in one arm.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Ok I'm gonna go now." The junior said and left. I turned to Kile.

"C'mon." He said. I followed him to his car in the parking lot.

The scent of his car is already familiar to me, probably because I've already been here. "Where's the jerk?" I asked about Blake.

"He had to attend to an emergency." Kile turned to me. "Seatbelts."

I wore the seatbelt he started to drive.

His car has it's own artificial intelligence like Blake's motor bike.

We were silent. I kept my eyes on the window and viewed the landscapes of the campus. I turned to him.

"Could I play music?"

He eyed me then pressed a button on the controls, suddenly the AI spoke to me.

[Hello there, what music may I interest you with?] The girls AI voice said.

"Pick anything you want Kile said and kept his eye on the road."

I picked my choice of music and it started to play.

"Where are we going?" I turned to him.

He kept his eyes on the road. "The villa, Ram's grilling barbeque."

I nodded. Suddenly his phone rang. He checked the caller then immediately answered it.

"Hey!" His voice instantly changed from cold to warm and gentle. I wonder who he's talking to.

"I'm on my way to the villa." He continued. "I'm not that busy. You want me to pick you up? No it's ok I have time. Bye." He ended the call then faced me.

"You don't mind if we turn around, I have to fetch someone but it won't be that far."

I raised my eyebrow. "Ok."

He turned the car around and we headed towards a different direction. I can't help but wonder who he's about to fetch. I smiled at the way his voice changed when he's talking to that person, he isn't all stone cold after all.

We drove through the trees until we got to the oval of flags.

"Who are we going to fetch?" I can't help but ask.

He didn't answer and kept focused on driving.

I crossed my arms. "Is it Bellona?"

He raised his eyebrow at me.

"Whatever. Who else would it be?"

He chuckled. "I'm going to fetch my sister."

My eyes widened. He actually has a sister?! Then it came to me, I almost forgot that the royal family has two children.

Just then the car approached the gates to the junior school which had two buildings. The high school department and elementary. He parked his car in the parking lot. The junior school was the first building I saw when I came here, it looks breathtaking aswell.

Highschool students filled the parking lot, their uniform's quite similar to ours but with some slight changes.

Suddenly a high school student came towards us and waved. She looked like a teenager, probably 15? She's just about my height, she was slim, she had straight brown hair that was below her shoulders, she had sky blue eyes just like Kile, plump lips, almond shaped eyes and sharp nose, she's like the girl version of Kile, only she had a charming smile written on her lips. I've never seen the country's princess up close. The royal family only exposes Kile, she's rarely seen, probably because she's just a minor and they value her privacy. I wouldn't blame them, Once you're a royal, you'll be the talk of the world.

She came to the car. I thought she was gonna ride in the back but she suddenly opened my door.

"Ki-" Her eyes widened when she saw me, shock was plastered on her face.

She looked at Kile as if asking for why I was here.

"Kadi, this is Paige." Kile introduced me.

"Hello your highness." I tried to sound jolly. "Paige." I gave out my hand.

She gave me a small smile and politely took it. "Kandice Astley."

She took back her hand and eyed both of us. "Are you-uh together?" She sounded like she wanted to ask that question since a while ago.

My eyes widened. "What? No!"

She seemed taken aback by my sudden raise of voice so I just laughed it off.

"I'm just taking her to the villa now get on." His voice sounded calm and caring. Extremely far from the Kile I know.

"Do you want to sit here?" I offered the shotgun seat, before she could say anything else I got out of the seat and went in the back. She didn't have any choice but to take my seat and Kile drove out of the school.

"Where will I drop you off?" Kile asked Kadi.

"The mall, I'm going to eat dinner with my friends."

Kile raised his eyebrow. "Are there boys?"

Kadi's eyes widened. "Just two, we have a group activity."

Kile didn't look pleased.

"But Grace and Mary would be there." Kadi added.

"Make sure you're at your dorm by 8." Kile said in an calm authorative voice.

Kadi rolled her eyes. "Fine!"

Seeing how Kile is so protective and caring to his sister makes me smile. He may not be like this to others including me but seeing this side of him towards his family makes me see who he really is. He has warmth after all.

After we brought Kadi to the mall, Kile drove back to the villa. Only then did I realize how hungry I am.

I laughed while he parked the car.

"What's so funny?" He raised his eyebrow.

"So you have a warm spot huh?" I teased.

"Lets just go." He opened his door and I followed.

When we got closer to the villa, I could see the smoke from the beach side. Probably Ram still grilling the barbeque. I spotted Blake's car at the other side of the villa, he's probably at the small greenhouse.

Kile and I walked around the villa to the beachside. The beach looked so lovely and the water reflected the beautiful golden sunset. It reminded me of Aiden, sunsets do, it'll always do.

I was right there was Ram in a tshirt and broad shorts grilling barbeque. The aroma smelled wonderful making my tummy grumble.

"You two are just in time." Ram pointed to us. "I just finished, the maids will set up our table." He happily said. When is he not happy?

Kile helped Ram get the barbeque and placed them on the plates. "Where's Blake?" Kile asked.

"Oh yeah, he's at the greenhouse I think." Ram scratched his head. "Paige can you get him?"

I honestly didn't want to but there's nothing I can do to help them. "Alright." I walked back inside the villa passing by their infinity pool. The villa was empty but I could hear the maids cooking something in the kitchen. I walked past the huge living room but stopped when a picture frame on the side table caught my eye.

In the picture were three boys and a girl, they all were wearing cute formal attires. One of them was probably Ram, he was brown skinned and was wearing a cute tux with a huge smile on his face while he had his shoulders over the other two boys on his both sides. The other one looks like Kile, he looked cute because his attire was formal but he was sucking on a lollipop. The other boy caught my attention, his hair was shaggy and covered his forehead, his attire is just as formal as the other two but he was crying and holding a milk bottle in one hand. O my God! Is this Blake?! I bit my lips to stiffle my laugh.

The girl beside Kile looked familiar aswell, she was wearing a purple dress and her hair in pig tails, she looked like a goddess for a 4 year old. There was a small smile on her lips but it wasn't genuine like Ram's. She's probably irritated by the three of them.

I left the picture frame and headed for the main door to find Blake outside. I wonder what on earth is he doing. I held the doorknob when suddenly the doorbell rang. I opened the door and My eyes widened.

There before me was Bellona. She was wearing her cheerleading uniform covered in a matching jacket. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail and her grey intimidating eyes pierced into mine, as if questioning my presence.

"Why are you here?" She raised an eyebrow at me.

"Uh-mm." I straightened my posture because her height and presence was really intimidating me. Her aura screamed power and elegance. "Blake brings me here, how about you?" I tried to sound elegant aswell but it didn't somehow work.

"This is my villa." She said and then it hit me. She must be the girl in the picture frame a while ago, no wonder she looked familiar. And this villa isn't just the boys, it must be hers too, that explains the small couch set in the man cave. Her face ever emotionless, and her eyes pierced into mine as if challenging me.

"Bella is that you?"

We both turned to Ram who was behind me. He seemed shocked to see her here.

Bellona gave him a death glare. "Oh! It is you hehe." Ram laughed. "So you've met Paige."

"Yes I have." I rarely hear her talk but when she does I get goosebumps. "So you've invited me for dinner?" She questioned Ram.

"Yeah I did, I want you to taste my new and improved barbeque." Ram smiled proudly but when he realized the awkward tension between me and Bellona he laughed again. "You should get inside Bella, your fiancée's in there."

"I'll go get Blake." I said a hurried off to the greenhouse, another second with her would make me crumble.

I entered the greenhouse, I was expecting to see Blake but instead I found a girl laying down on a bench. I recognized her from my track team, she's in my year. She had short dark hair that's above her shoulder. She had thick cat eye rimmed glasses and she was snuggled on the bench reading a book. Her face was charming and innocent.

"Lucy?" I recalled her name.

She sat up from the bench and faced me. "H-hi Paige." She really is shy like in track training.

"What bring you here?" I wondered.

"Oh-uh Boss allows me to read here when I want to." She said shyly.

"Boss?" I asked.

"Anyways I'll get going nice to see you Paige." She stood up and headed for the door. "Bye! See you at training."
