(I week later)

I woke up to the loud sound of rattling and clatter downstairs. The noise was then followed by shouting. I sat up in my bed and looked at the time. Eleven o'clock.

I pulled the covers back and slipped on my slippers before walking downstairs. The noise became more and more audible as I walked towards the kitchen. When I walked in I saw my mom, Veronica and Steph surrounding our dining table.

"What's going on?" I yawned. They immediately turned around and I heard my mom yelp. Clearly whatever was behind them was something they didn't want me to see.

"Sierra? Why are you out of bed?" My mom asked

"Maybe because when you wake up you're meant to get up plus I heard shouting" I said

"Well since you're here.." my mom drifted off. She turned around to the girls and then I saw them turn around to the table and picked up an ice cream cake covered in sprinkles with the number eighteen candles in the middle. My eyes widened in surprise when I saw the cake.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday Sierra, happy birthday to you!" They sang, horribly may I add but it's the thought that counts.

"Oh my God you guys!" I covered my face and smiled in disbelief.

"Come on make a wish" Steph said. I smiled and looked back down at the cake. I closed my eyes and then blew my candles out.

"You're finally eighteen which means you have to get laid now" Veronica said hyping me up. She then noticed my mom looked at her with a stern look. "I mean...you don't have to. Obviously when you're ready" she nervously said scratching the back of her head.

"Sierra if you're having sex you need to be safe and make sure-"

"Mom stop" I groaned my face flushing red. I could see the girls snickering between themselves. I gave them a look saying "I'll kill you later" which instantly made them stop.

"So what's the plan today?" My mom asked taking the cake from Steph's hands and placing it back on the table

"We're going to the movies and do some shopping after" I said. I walked over to my cake and ran my index through the icing before liking it off my finger. My mom whacked me on my shoulder.

"What?! It's my cake" I defended

"Yes but it's not hygienic" my mom scolded.

"Whatever, lets go upstairs. I need to get ready" I said to my friends.

We walked up to my room and I walked into my closet. I pulled out a black long sleeve with a leopard print mini dress and black boots. I walked back out to see Veronica and Steph on my bed laughing at something on Veronica's phone.

"I'll be out in twenty minutes. I'm going to go shower"

After fifteen minutes I got out of the shower and put on my outfit.

"Damn Sierra you are going to be turning heads today" I let out a laugh. Since it was my birthday I decided to do more makeup than usual but left my hair naturally straight. I then heard my phone ping. I was about to grab it but Steph beat me to it and began reading out the message.

Good morning love, happy birthday to the best girlfriend and I can't wait to see you soon baby

The girls immediately squealed. I laughed and snatched the phone out of Steph's hands. I turned my back against them and reread the text again to myself. I smiled and gave him a simple thank you.

"Ok who's ready then?" I asked turning back around.

After the movie

"Ok but why is the joker so hot. I think I have daddy issues" Veronica sighed looking into space with a dreamy look

"Yeah I think I might be bi" Steph joked

"But seriously he can get it anytime he wants"

"Veronica I don't think Josh would be happy if he heard that" I say disposing of my popcorn bag

"Oh please we haven't even had our date yet" she dismisses

"Isn't that this Saturday?"

"Yup" She said popping her p

"Right so which shop are we going to first?" Steph asked

"I saw a cute dress that I want from Pacsun" I said. As we walked into the shop we started looking through the shelves and the racks for something to buy. I found a cute white mini dress and couldn't resist turning away from it. I picked out a few more items getting the girls opinions on each one. Out of nowhere Veronica got a call.

"Uhhh I gotta take this" She then turned to Steph and gave her a look. I notice Steph give her curt nod

Once Veronica was a few feet away from us I turned to Steph.

"What was that about?"

"Huh?" She said looking through the racks with jeans on the them.

"I saw the look Veronica gave you before she left"

"You're being paranoid. Try this on it will look cute on you" she said and shoved a pair of ripped into me. She then Proceeded to pushing me towards the changing room.

I gave her a confused look and then she shut the door. What the fuck? Nonetheless I tried on the jeans and they actually looked nice on me. I walked out and saw them both talking quietly amongst themselves.

"What do you guys think?"

"Ouuu that looks great on you. You should definitely get that" Veronica smiled. I said thanks and went back to try on the rest of the clothes.

Once we were done from there we went to a few more shops for about two more hours.

"Ughhh I'm so tired and my feet hurt. Let's go home"

"No!" They yelled simultaneously. They looked at each other before turning back to me. "I mean we should get some food first I'm starving"

"Ok let's get McDonald's then" I suggested

"We get McDonald's every time we go out. How about chick-fil-a?" Steph whined

"Who's birthday is it today?"

"Yours" they grumbled

"Exactly so we are getting McDonald's. Come on" I smirked

After having the best meal of my life I was finally ready to go home.

"Ok let's go I'm so tired right now"

"Yeah ok" there was something off about them but I couldn't put my finger on what it was. Once we entered Veronica's car we made our way back to my house.

"Uhhhh Veronica why are you driving so slow. My dead grandma could drive faster than you" I shouted

"I'm just trying to be safe" she said making an excuse.

"Fine" I mumbled. After twenty minutes of driving instead of it being ten we finally arrived at me house. I got down and grabbed the bags from the trunk of the car. I fumbled trying to get my keys out of my bag. Once I opened the door I noticed the lights were switched off. Weird. My mom must have left the house or something. I switched on the lights.

"SURPRISE!!" I saw a bunch of heads shoot up with huge smiles on their faces.

"AHHHHH" I screamed in surprise making me drop my bags on the floor. Everyone started laughing at my reaction.

"Oh my God you guys" I smiled. I then saw Aaron walking up to me with open arms.

"Happy birthday love" he said into my neck.

"Thank you" I whispered giving him a gentle squeeze. When he released me I turned back to Veronica and Steph

"You sneaky little bitches. You were all in on this?"

"Yup it was hard though because you kept wanting to go home" Steph said. "Also this was all Aaron's idea but we all helped him" she continued

"This was your idea?" I asked sweetly

"Yeah" he said grabbing my waist and pulled me into a kiss making me smile against his lips.

"Ok if you want to make a sex tape go upstairs" Justin joked making me roll my eyes

"Shut up dude" Aaron laughed lightly punching his arm.

"Ok well Sierra you have to go get changed into something more sexy" Steph said "let the party commence" and with that the loud roars of the guests could be heard.

The girls and I walked upstairs to my room and we got ready. Apparently they brought all their stuff over this morning but I clearly didn't see them.

"I've no idea what to wear" I groaned flopping on my bed.

"Wear that dress you bought earlier, the white one" Veronica suggested

"Good idea"

I looked through the sea of shopping bags for the dress. I took it out of the bag and got changed into it. I could head the bass of the music through my floorboards and the shouts of teenagers singing to the music.

"So my mom actually agreed to this?"

"Yeah she said she wants this to be a birthday you will never forget. Also she is out of town for a few days. She said that will give you enough time to clean up the mess from the party" Steph laughed

"Lovely. You can sleepover then and help me clean after"

I quickly retouched my makeup and brushed out my hair. The girls were ready ten minutes ago and have been waiting for me.

"Ok I'm ready"

We walked down the stairs and pushed through the sea of teenagers to get to the kitchen where the guys were. Once they spotted us they waved their hands for us to come over.

"Wow this is literally amazing guys" I gushed. On the table were snacks and drinks. On another table were alcohol and few more snacks.

"You deserve every bit of it" Aaron smiled

"Ok lovebirds who's ready for some shots!" Steph yelled

We all gathered around the table and poured ourselves each a shot of tequila

"To my amazing girlfriend who just turned legal" Aaron cheered and we all downed our shots. I squeezed my eyes shut as I could feel the burn of the alcohol against the back of throat and just like that ladies and gentlemen is how the perfect night started.
