Ever since I freaked out I haven't seen Stokeley at all and it sucks. I know good and well that it's my fault because I initated that kiss.

I didn't mean to scare him, I felt suffocated. I don't really know how to explain it. I just felt vulnerable like I couldn't move.

"Billie, how bout you go for a walk or something? You've been in the house for about a week now." my mom stands at the door.

"I don't feel like going anywhere mom." I complain.

"What happened with you and Stokeley?" she walks in, "You guys were perfectly fine and I haven't seen him since last week."

"Nothing happened mom, friends drift sometimes." I cover up.

"Come on, let's go get lunch, do something, it isn't good for you to be kept inside the house" she smiles and then walks out.

I think about it for a second and decide that I should spend time with my mom. I get dressed and walk out my room grabbing my shoes.

"I’ll be in the car!" my mom yells and closes the front door.

I put my shoes on and go out the front door. I look over and see Stokeley outside painting his door.

He looks over at me and I look away fast, I get into the car "Why don't you help him with that when we get back if he still needs help?" my mom suggests.

"I think he's got it covered mom." I say grabbing the seatbelt and putting it on.

After about an hour we get back home, Stokeley is washing his car when I look over. As he sees the car approaching he looks over like he wants to say something.

I get out and he decides not to say anything. I really miss Stokeley, nothing feels the same without him, but I just can't handle the pressures of dating right now.

"Billie, can you run out to my car and grab my phone?" my mom says from her room.

I walk outside with the keys to unlock the car. I open the door and grab her phone, when I turn around I feel someone grabbing my wrist.
