Abby's POV
I was sitting on my bed TRYING to read a book but couldn't because my noisey, nosey, stupid brother Gregory! Was blasting his stupid music VERY loudly in the other room. It took everything inside of me not to go pounding in there because he said these were the last two months of his carefree life since he's going off to college and he needs to embrace his youth. P-lease.
I sat there for about two more minutes before I snapped and screamed at the top off my lungs.
"GREGORRRRRY!"
I heard the music turn down and sighed in relief. Finally some peace and quiet! I went back to my book. When my door opened.
I turned around and saw my brother standing there with his boyish dumb smirk. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing he wasn't embracing anything! He was getting on my nerves!
I rolled my eyes and turned back to my book.
"What do want?"
"What I want? If I remember correctly you were the one who called me." I looked up straight ahead of me before finally looking back at him.
"You know it's weird how your the oldest."
He shook his head and laughed then came and sat next to me on my bed. O-kaaay.
"I'm bored... What do you wanna do?" Double O-kaaay.
"I looked up at him totally confused. He had a best friend across the street, A girlfriend, and an X-box. What could he possibly want with me?
I sighed seeing as he wasn't gonna go away anytime soon and closed my book. He grined triumphantly and I said.
"What do you want?"
"So I was wandering... Well... Me and Cassie are going to Eros this weekend and I was wandering if you would like to come?"
"And be your third wheel? No thanks."
"Oh no you won't be a third wheel other... People are going."
"Other people like who?"
"I... Can't tell you that. So?" Wow!
"Gee... Let me think... Um... No."
"Awww come on Abby! Please?" Wow! What is it with people and not taking no for an answer? But seeing as he really wanted me to go... And he said 'Please' I couldn't say no.
"Ugh... Fine! I'll go and be your third wheel. But only because you said please." He smiled and pulled me into his famous bear hugs that I really used to love when I was little. And laid back on my bed.
I laid my head on his chest and he sorta just stared at the ceiling. The silence was killing me and I had to say something.
"So... Why do you want me to go anyways?" He laughed trough his nose and said.
"Because mom wants us to spend time togethere before I go." I smiled andd said jokingly.
"Ohhhh... So it's not just because you want your little sister to tag along huh?"
"Nah. It's definately not that? Cause who wants that? But you are coming right."
"I already said yes Greg."
"Good I just wanted to make sure you didn't change your mind. Oh and ABE is SO not welcomed."
"Awww! No fair you can't do that!"
"Yes I can and I will. Because if he shows up I will beat that kid senceless."

"oh shut. Up. Your just mad because he's the first guy not scared of you!"
"Yeah right! He probably just loves you to much. But trust me he's scared." I laughed and he started to sit up.
I soon followed and we just sat there before I asked.
"So... You wanna order a pizza?"
"Nah." I looked at him confused. We did not eat dinner and I am pretty sure I heard his stomach growl.
"Nah?"
"Nope. Instaed I wanna give you a nuggie."
"What?"
"You heard me!"
"Don't be childish!" He moved closer to me and I saw that he was serious so I yelled.
"I will call the police if you touch me!" He didn't listen instead he just threw his arm around my neck and sarted to rub my head with his knuckles. Oh thee agony!
"GREG! STOP!"
"NO IT'S FUN!"
"GREG! PLEASE?"
"Oh I am immuned to your pleading."
"Greg your knuckles are sharp!"
"YOUR HAIR IS SO SOFT!"
"MOOOM!" He mimicked my voice in a girly tone and yelled.
"Mooom!"
Just then our mother walked in and with an amused look on her face. She took one look at us and laughed. Greg grinned wickedly and I frowned.
"What are you two doing in here?"
"Mom! Could you please tell Greg to let me go!" She looked down on us and shook her head.
"Why do I feel like i'm raising a buch of four year olds?" Greg let me go and said.
"Because were young at heart?" I gave him 'the look' before saying.
"That is SO not funny Greg! You messed my hair up!" He looked at me clearly amused and shook his head before saying.
"Seriously? You were going to bed anyways."
I got up off the floor and fixed my clothes and Greg quickly came up after me. My mom gave both of a amused look and slightly shook her head before saying.
"Gregory Jenkins. Where did I go wrong with you?" I wrapped my arms around her and said.
"It's okay mom every good person is entitled to at least ONE mistake." I looked right at Greg when I said and he rolled his eyes playfully before saying.
"And it was YOU!" I gave him another look before repeating in a deep voice.
"And it was YOU! Mom! Do you hear how hear how he talks?" She politely brushed me off of her and said.
"Alright! That's enough you two! Come down stairs and let's decide what were having for dinner."
She starts to walk out of my room and me and Greg follow behind her. When she wasn't looking Greg hit me in the back of the head. And I silently kicked him in the butt.
"Quit it!" We both smile and look at eachother. And I yelled.
"He started it!"
~*~
That Friday I drove in the car with Greg and we picked Cassie up on the way. And we headed to Eros.
I really was looking forward to spending time with my brother! That is until an unexpected guest showed up! Or was he? I looked right at Greg when I saw Megan and Nick coming to our table. Then I knew he was supposed to come because Greg didn't look back at me.
Well! So much for avoiding him.
"Hey guys!" Megan said in her so annoying voice. Why was he doing this to me?

Everyone said their heys and she quickly turned to me. Why ME?
"Oh Abby! It's so nice to see!" I looked at her out of the corner of my eye and said trough clenched teeth and the fakest enthusiasm ever! And I did not try to hide it.
"Yeah you too!"
For some reason that i'll never understand she sat right beside me! Couldn't she tell that I did not like her? I stared at her coldly. To bad she didn't noticed but my brother. Did.
He cleared his throat and said.
"Well now that were all here-" Cassie cut him off. I think she noticed the tention so she turned to me and asked.
"So! Abby! Are you gonna miss your big brother when he goes off to college?" I smiled at her, looked at Greg then back at her and said jokingly.
"Nah! I think i'll enjoy the time I have as an only child." She laughed and he said.
"Yeah right you know your gonna miss me!" I smiled at him because I knew he was right. But instead of embracing it I stood my ground.
"Nope. It doesn't matter anyways Greg never pays any attention to me." His eyes got big. And he had a hurt mocked expression.
"Abby? How could you say that?" I rolled my eyes at him and turned back to Cassie.
"Greg has never paid any attention to me. Especially when we were little." Then his jaw dropped. And he said in all seriousness not joking anymore.
"Okay how could you say that?" This time I didn't look at Cassie I looked at Greg and yelled.
"You NEVER paid any attention to me! Don't lie!"
"What do you mean I never paid any attention to you?"
"Exactly what I said."
"Please tell me what high school kid comes home and plays games with their little sister?" I looked down at my drink because I really couldn't think of any. I was about to say something until he interrupted me and said.
"You know when I used to come home you'd say. And I qoute 'Greg come and play with me because I don't have any friends'."
"I NEVER!"
"Well you might as well have. And I seriously regret the day that I agreed to play dressup with you." Cassie looked at him through eyes of wonder and blurted out.
"Awww! Greg! You played dressup with your little sister?" I ignored their romantic gazes and said.
"For your information I was a creative little girl and mom was never around to play."
"Yeah well... And you know. You clung to me for dear life when you were younger and you still do!" Then MY jaw dropped. But he kept going!
"And if you don't believe me I can show you a voucher."
"And just who might that voucher be?"
"NICK!" I looked over at Nick when my face turned beetroot red and said.
"N-nick doesn't count. And I know that your my brother but when I came home from school and no one was there... I got lonely." I folded my hands across my chest and sat back in the booth.
Greg had a look of pitty on his face before covering it up with.
"Well when you finally met that girl Alison... Talk about Godsend!" I gave him a pouty look before saying.
"I have to go to the bathroom."
Nick and Megan stepped out to let me out which I was SO happy about because Megan's perfume was driving me nuts!
When I came back from the bathroom I noticed that they ordered and the food had already came. Instead of them getting back out to let me in my seat I insisted on them just staying there and me sit at the edge. Before I could sit down Megan blurted out. "Oh NO!" I looked back at her and followed her gaze which was on Harold Armstrong. If you didn't know Harold is thee weirdest boy in this town, his wole entire family is CRAZY! And above all things he had a crush on ME! But I guess I gave him reason to because while every parted like the red sea when he walked by. I ssmiled and waved and ocassionally talked to him. I know i'm suppossed to follow in with the crowd or whatever. But I know how it feels to be rejected. Cassie rolled her eyes and Greg said.
"What is he doing here?"
"Please! That guy is the freak of nature!" Cassie said that. Which must be true because she is the nicest person I know.
I had a panick attack when he noticed me from across the room! I felt like I couldn't breathe! Just because I was nice to him doesn't mean we were friends!
I just about died when he started to walk over to ME! And I started repeating frantically like a crazy person as my heart started to beat faster.
"Oh no! Oh no! He's coming what do I do?" Nick and Greg started to laugh. Cassie and Megan just sat there shaking there heads and Greg stopped laughing just so he could say.
"Why are you friends with that guy anyway?" I stared at him trhough blurry eyes. (I think i'm abou to cry)
"I'm not his friend!" Cassie turned to me said.
"So why are you always talking to him?"
"BECAUSE! I know everybody thinks he's weird... But there is just no reason for someone to be treated that way!" Before anyone could say anthing else came up behind me and said.
"H-hi Abby." I took a deep breath, pulled myself together, put on the biggest smile I could muster, andd turned around.
"Hey harold!"
"Wow! It's such a suprise to see you here! I-" He stopped talking when he noticed everyone at the table. He took a few steps back and said.
"W-what are you doing here with them?"
"Well Harold this is my brother Greg his friends." I beckoned over to Greg who was enjoying every moment of my agony. I gave him a look that said 'be nice' and to my suprise he obeyed.
"Nice to meet you Harold." He smirked at them and then turned back to me. And for a moment we just sat, stood, whaaatever. Until, I sighed out loud and said.
"WELL! Not that i'm, i'm not a fan of awkward moments but Harold I really should get back."
"O-okay bye."
"See you round."
I sat down in the booth next to my brother and said.
"Whoof! Glad that's over!"
~*~
When everyone finished eating and the weirdness was gone. We decide to leave. Greg said it didn't matter where we went, so we went to our neighborhood park.
While the guys were goofing of and drinking. (How they got that beer is BEYOND me!) Me, Cassie, and Megan were sitting on the sidewalk talking. Or... Rather they talked... I really didn't have much to say.
Cassie was turned to Megan and I was sitting down with my head on my knees.
"So you know Meg, me and Greg are really lucky that we got accepted in the same college. I love him so much. I think i'd just die if he went to any other one. Then we'd only get to see wachother on do occasions. And probably not even for summer break."
"Yeah... Well... I guess those are the many advantages of growing up."
And that's when it hit me. I looked over to Greg. Who was laughing away with Nick. And it felt like daggers in my heart. I was going to loose my brother. Greg was so special to me. He was... My brother, my friend, my dad, and my night and shining armor all in one. What was I gonna do without him? He was one who took care of me when I was sick, who played with me when I was lonely and didn't have any friends. And he was... Leaving. In two monthes he'd be gone. And i'd be gone. The shocking realization was all too much and I couldn't hold back my tears.
I started to cry trying to be as quiet as possible but it didn't work.
"A-Abby? Are you okay?" Cassie came and knealt down in front of me. Why was I so bad at hiding things? I couldn't take it... I had to tell her.
"I-I'm really gonna miss my brother." She smiled and gave me a hug.
"Oh I know! And if I were you, i'd miss him too." She let go of me and I wiped the tears from my face. I looked over to Megan. And for one brief moment I couldv'e sworn I saw her smile at me. Not a fake smile, not an 'I'm sorry' smile. But a real genuine smile. I was confused for a moment before the guys came over to us.
"Whatcha you guys doing?" Greg asked before he noticed the water leaking from my face. He leant down and said.
"Abby what's wrong?" I looked at him for a bbrief moment before saying.
"My tummy hurts." I laughed at that stupid excuse. Cassie and Megan laughed because they knew the truth.
Greg smiled at me before standing up and reaching out his hand to me.
"Well looks like I should go home and fix that." I laughed and grabed his hand.
Yep definately going to miss him.

By the year 3029 CE, Earth’s technology has developed rapidly, borders no longer exist, and Earth has been unified, marking the beginning of the era of the Federation. At that time, a huge sword flew from the heavens, piercing the sun and causing a huge sensation on Earth. Perhaps because the scabbard of the sword was already in tatters, countless shards have broken off from it following the collision with the sun and spread across the universe. Many of these shards have landed on various places across Earth. With the arrival of the bronze sword and its shards, a new unlimited energy source has suddenly appeared on Earth. This energy source has since been named Spirit Qi. Spirit Qi is like air, thick in some places and thin in others. As the Federation and other factions gather more shards, they discover more information on cultivation, pill refinement, Spirit Stone refinement, and other techniques. The words on the shards have an ancient feel to them, making it a trend for people to use ancient language. The appearance of Spirit Qi rapidly makes the original energy sources obsolete and has completely changed people’s lives. Not only has the Spirit Internet been formed, Spirit Qi has also changed the course of Human Civilization, causing the world to enter a civilization of cultivation. The Hand of Sigmar. A Warhammer Fiction.
Adebar von Bolstedt was a normal young Aristocrat once. Third son of the middling von Bolstedt line of Altdorf, capital of the prestigious Empire at the heart of the Old World, but when a quarrel with his brother escalates he decides to leave his pampered home, and soon finds himself stranded in the countryside. When confronted about his presence he claims to be led by the God-King Sigmar, but with the name of the Protector of Mankind come his responsiblities. Soon Adebar finds himself tasked with ridding a town of a mad killer, and settling some lethal family quarrels.Word from the AuthorGreetings! The Hand of Sigmar plays out in the much beloved Warhammer Fantasy setting (owned, of course, by Games Workshop). Do not fret, however, as I've made it a point to make the story digestible even to the uninitiated, and maybe even be a good introduction to the setting. This work will be shorter overall, partly because its born out of a sudden passion, partly because I thought I'd try my hand at a more comfortable story than the grim darkness of the 41st Millenium (psychotic murderer and fraudulent holyman included). Depending on how this does and my time allows more adventures may be coming. While I cannot claim the places, concepts and gods etc. mentioned within as my own, the story and all characters flowed from my own fingers.
