《Alpha (under construction - rewrite)》Chapter Twenty One

I wanted to fight.
I wasn't some meek little girl who needed her man to fight her battles for her. He was here because of me and my sisters, I couldn't let anything happen to his pack because of me. I wouldn't be able to bare it.
Ajax's mother was now attempting to usher us into the house but I wouldn't go.
She looked at me in surprise, "mi niña you are not ready to fight." She said the words softly but it didn't lessen the blow to my ego and my heart. My mate was out there fighting for me and there was not a thing I could do to help him.
Ajax's mother had led us to a family room within the house and had left saying that she would return with tea and food. I didn't feel like eating anything.
"Why can't we fight? I swear down I had Nero." The angry declaration came from Corazon as she sat on the arm rest staring at the coffee table.
"Hate to break it to you sweetheart, but I think he was letting you win." The snippy words came from my sweet little baby sister.
Damn this war was getting to her too.
I was about to interrupt but then Corazon decided to fight back, but to be honest I kind of expected it from her.
"At least I wasn't using training as an excuse to let my mate feel me up." Corazon spat this at Valentina. Well I guess this was our first big family fight and I wasn't even a part of it. Next time I would be sure to get in there first.
"At least my mate wants to touch me." Ouch.
Corazon lunged for Valentina at this point and both me and Lovella jumped up to grab her.

"Calm down." These words left my mouth in a growl as I grabbed her from the back of her neck.
Corazon looked guilty as she stared at Valentina and I was sure she looked the same.
She then lunged for her one more time and instead of beating the life out of her she wrapped her in a hug.
"I'm sorry," Corazon mumbled into Valentina's hair.
"Me too." I was guessing that this was what came out of Valentine's mouth because her face was smushed into Corazon's shoulder.
They pulled apart and I smiled, the smile quickly fell away as I recalled that our mates were currently fighting for our freedom.
"We have to do something." These words left Lovella as she glanced at the window, the rain was coming down hard, it couldn't be easy fighting in that.
Sofia had returned and placed the tray on the table she then signed and told us that she was going to join the battle. She then places a kiss on each of our foreheads and told us to remain in this room.
Well now what?
I guess we would have to sneak out, the gentle snoring coming from the guard just made this that much easier.
I looked at all my sisters then at the door, I wasn't sure how good the guards hearing was but I was praying it wasn't very good.
They understood what I was trying to tell them and quickly got to their feet.
We snook past the guard attempting to be as quite as possible, it took us a few minutes until we made it to the door but on the way out we grabbed various items.
I grabbed a baseball bat whilst Lovella grabbed a crow bar. Corazon had quickly gone into the kitchen and grabbed a rolling pin and a knife whilst Valentina took the umbrella with the pointy edge that was on the coat hook.

I wasn't so confident that we would destroy our enemies but we had to try, I couldn't risk losing Ajax, he was my everything.
As soon as we got out of the door we ran int eh direction the others had gone in earlier, the further we ran the louder the growls and snarls became.
It was a battlefield, literally.
The wolves were attempting to take down the lycans and proving unsuccessful. The wounds on the wolves body looked almost painful yet the lycans remained unscathed.
On the far side of the field I spotted my grandfather, his hulking body made the wolf fighting him look like a child. The wolf fighting him was Ajax, and he was losing.
My grandfather currently had Ajax in his hands by his throat. His claws were digging into his neck and the blood was running down my grandfather's hand, my heart almost stopped in my chest.
I ran as fast as I could to reach Ajax and slammed the wooden bat on to my grandfathers back.
The bat splintered into tiny pieces that covered the ground around us.
He froze and immediately dropped Ajax who wheezed as he tried to find his footing. His black fur was matter by the blood that had run from his neck.
My grandfather immediately lunged at me but before he could reach me Ajax jumped.
His teeth wrapped around my grandfathers throats and he pulled almost ripping the body in two.
It was positively gruesome and I closed me eyes in disgust and I took a step back just before I heard my grandfathers body fall to the ground.
The lycans all then began to fall to the ground after my grandfather had fallen. He clearly had a large influence in what the others were capable of.
The wolves all threw the head back and howled, but not Ajax. He shifted back into his human form and was as naked as the day he was born.
My face went bright red and I immediately averted my eyes.
His growl brought my eyes to his and I was surprised to see that they were blazing with anger.
He took a few steps closer to me grabbed my arms.
"WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING?"
