The bell rang and I stood up putting my things in my bag. I grab my bag and walk out the door to go find my friends.

I go outside to our usual lunch table and wait for them to come out. My other best friend Camila comes out first and when she spots me she starts walking faster. She sits down on the table and stared at me.

"What?" I asked. Gabriel came over and sat down at the table with us.

"Spence you better be fucking kidding, all I've been hearing all morning in my classes are about you and Maddie St. James dating." Camila stares at me.

"It's not that big of a deal why's everyone so dramatic about it?" I shrug.

"Your a idiot, Maddie is literally the goddess of this school and we are like her slaves. And you went and fucked the goddess. If you two break up she's gonna kill you, you know that right she bullies basically everyone in this hell hole." Gabriel says.

"She's not even that bad." I tell them.

They both look at each other and roll their eyes.

"Babe!" I look up to hear Maddie screaming running over.

She stops at the table and looks Camila and Gabriel up and down.

"Come eat lunch with me and my friends, they wanna know more about you." She smiles at me.

"I'm eating lunch with my friends, I'll eat with you tomorrow."

"These are your friends." She lifts an eyebrow.

"Yeah?"

"Oh Gabriel Edwards and..Camila Vincenzo. Didn't you like piss yourself in sixth grade Gabriel?" She laughs.

"Didn't you get a boob job in sixth grade?." He gives her a dirty look and she scoffs.

"Mads what are you doing out here." Kenzie comes over to the table along side Sarah.

"Oh lord help me." Gabriel says under his breath.

"I'm trying to convince Spencer to eat with us."

"Don't bother, she's a bit weird leave her here." Sarah laughs.

"Sarah shut your mouth you whore." Maddie looks over her shoulder.

"What I'm just saying it would be bad to be caught with her."

"Oh would it bad if I told the whole school you made out with Kevin Curtin?"Maddie raises and eyebrow at her.

Gabriel and Camila laugh and I sit there awkwardly, she is really mean to other people but not me.

"You wouldn't."

"Oh watch me." Maddie pulls out her phone and I look over her shoulder and she posts a picture of Sarah and Kevin kissing at a party. She sends it to everyone with a message saying 'Embarrassing, I heard Kevin has a contagious disease or something...'

"Watch your mouth next time bitch and your out of my group and the cheer team. Do not fucking test me Sarah." She walks past her bumping in to her with her shoulder.

The bell rings and I walk towards my locker. Maddie runs up beside me.

"You okay babe?" She asks.

"Maddie you didn't have to do that." I say to her and she stops me walking by going in-front of me facing me.

"I know but I did." She smiles taking my hand.

"Next time don't do anything it's fine." I smile back.

"Whatever you say, my parents are out tonight if you want to sleep over. We will have the house to ourselves." She smirks.

"Okay I'll come over after school." I smile and kiss her and when I lean back I see Miss Levine passing us and she looks at me her eyebrows furrowed.

I wanted to talk to her again, but I didn't know what to say.

I headed to maths which I had with Gabriel so we talked all class.
