《Miss Levine {wlw, teacherxstudent}》𝑆𝑖𝑥𝑡𝑒𝑒𝑛

I sat on the bench as Spencer walked away, my heart in my throat.
She just kissed me, I didn't start panicking because I didn't want to make her more upset, but trust me my heart slid up my throat the moment her soft lips touched mine.
She's different, I mean nobody's the same but she makes me feel different. My heart flutters when she smiles, she has an adorable smile I must admit. She has the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes. We have a lot in common, more then I thought, we're both good at reading people, we both have a good sense of humour.
I snap myself out of my thoughts and stand up off the bench, it's getting late and I got to get some sleep.
I take out my headphones and put on my Spotify playlist and start walking home.
I hum to the music until I feel a tap on my shoulder and I jump and slide off my head phones and turn around.
A man with a cup was standing there, his clothes were all ripped and he had no shoes.
"Sorry miss, do you have any spare change?" He says in a low voice kind of raspy.
I take out my purse and take out a fifty dollar bill and hand it to him and he smiles.
"Oh no only change, this is to much." He goes to hand it back and I close his hand.
"You need it more then me love, don't spend it on the wrong things. There's a shelter down town they let people stay inside for a few dollars. I know some people working there. It's down near the sunny side shop, ask for Max and tell him Juliet sent you there." I smile and he does too.

"Thank you miss." He smiles even wider and I nod smiling and slide my head phones back on and take out my phone to text Max.
I turn off my phone and put it into my pocket, my Spotify still playing.
I get to my apartment a few minutes later, I open the door and slide off my headphones as my dog joey runs over to me and starts jumping up.
"Hello my little buddy." I pick him up and kiss him before putting him back down and going over to the kitchen.
I boil the kettle and make some tea, I go to my room and change into a big hoodie and shorts. I go back to the kitchen and sit down at my kitchen table with my tea. I stare out the window next to the table getting lost in thought again.
My phone buzzes and I turn my phone over on the table to see a message from Grace.
I ignored her message and flip my phone back over, I close my eyes for a few seconds and breathe in and out. Do I have feelings for my student?
I stand up off the chair with an angry groan and walk into my bedroom and jump down on the bed.
I roll over and bite my lip thinking again, no stop Juliet Levine you do not like your student your just over thinking a very silly meaningless kiss. Right?
"Joey!" I scream out to joey and I hear his paws tapping against the wooden floor, he jumps onto the bed and runs over and sits on top of my chest.
I rub his head and he starts closing his eyes slowly. Joey was a small cocker spaniel, he had dark brown hair with lighter brown areas on him.
I slowly fell asleep with joey on top of me.

Ravyn's Nights - Book 2
Claire's life led her to love. Love led her to death. Death began her eternal struggle to retain both her love and her humanity through 5 centuries of endless nights. Book 2 covers the 18th century. "Ravyn's Nights" is a six book series, with each book covering a different century. Book 6 was actually started first, and it takes place in the near future, bringing the story to a final conclusion. I then started writing the rest of the series when I decided that I wanted to share the details of the life that made her into who she is in Book 6. At the time of posting the first chapter of the series, books 1-2-3 are completed and books four, five and six are in various states of completion. There is currently a novella following a side character that does include a few crossover chapters featuring the main character. The novella will be included in the completed versions of books 4 and 5.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.

Demons Don't Lie
Algier, average human and recent convict, has committed the gravest sin of all: demon slaying. His fate? To participate in the Culling, a battle-royale style tournament that’s televised live to the world, where all the worst criminals go to die. As with all tournaments, a prize is on the line. If Algier survives, he can have any wish granted by the Marquises, the new rulers of Earth following the demons’ invasion. However, there’s little hope for survival in a tournament designed to have demons do the work of the executioner, especially for a human. Demons are stronger, faster, wiser, and more talented than the average human, and, despite his crime, Algier is no demon hunter. Mentally defeated before the tournament even begins, Algier is torn between becoming another demon’s points and fighting on in his dead mother’s legacy. But should he choose to fight, there is one advantage that Algier has that can tip the odds in his favour: Demons don’t lie, but humans can. How to read this story Demons Don't Lie is written from the perspective of an unreliable (lying) narrator. There are many inconsistencies within the story which are placed there intentionally. It's up to the reader to decide what is the truth and what is the lie. Promotion Full quality cover image
