"Aha! Thy perfect picnic spot!" Zed said trying to sound French and reached me the apple flower
I giggled, "Zed, I'm really sorry about at lunch a while ago, my fellow cheerleaders are jerks about you guys" I looked down
"Don't worry, this will be a distant problem. . . someday" he smiles and hugs me and I hug back
I started walking towards the stairs as he follows me, "Thanks for saving me at the pep rally"
"Yeah, I mean it worked out for everyone!" He replies
"Okay, how then?"
"You didn't break your beautiful face, me and Tom are in the Football team, Lynne and Tom finally talked, Bonzo finally gets to give the heart Apple to Addison, We—" I cut him off
"Okay, okay, I get it" I giggled, "But then again, zombies can finally got in, like hang out in public. . . maybe someday" I nodded
"This town, this school. It's hard not fitting in" I said

"How would you know? Your perfect." He replied, should I tell him?
"Zed, I'm a half zombie, I just look like a human and this is just a wig, my real hair is darkish-green" I said
"Well can I see?" He asks
"No! Never" I replied startled
"Sorry, my parents always made me cover my hair, nothing sticks to zombie hair and look I fit in. . . and now I'm in the cheer squad" I said
"You know, being you is just perfect. You don't have to hide it" he says touching my cheeck as I hold his hand
We stayed in that moment for a while now, until we heard footsteps
"Come on" we quickly ran and hid in the safest room
"Oh this is where we first met" I smiled
"This is where we had our first punch" he says and I giggled

The writing quality will be the main focus in draft two (You've been warned), and I'm using the first draft mainly as a loose outline for the plot. I will also try and 'show, not tell' in draft two.
