Looking around I watched as people moved things into my new house.
It wasn't much just a three-bedroom two and a half bathroom but shit it was mines. I got this about two weeks after I left my mom's crib and nobody knows I got it. Yvette been calling me but I only talk to JoJo and visit him at Yvette's mom's house because I wanted the house to be done so that I could surprise him.
Feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket I see it was Pea calling me.
"Wassup man". I ask showing the movers where I wanted the couch.
"What you doing man I'm trying to chill Kim been working my nerves".He said causing me to laugh.
"I'm about to send you my location". I said before hanging up.
After sending him my location I get back to telling them where I wanted stuff.
Hearing a knock at the door I go over and open it letting him in.
"Who spot this is". He asked looking at the workers move around.
"This my spot I bought it". I said proudly looking around.
"Oh, shit mamas boy finally left the nest". He said laughing.
"Haha, you real funny". I said and he pushed me as he continued laughing.
"Do Yvette know about this"? He asked and I shook my head.
"Nah we not on speaking terms right now". I said and he shook his head.
"What she do". He asked following me to the kitchen.
"Fucking with that nigga that was in Jail". I said handing him a juice out the fridge.
"You shitting me right I thought you checked that shit". He said leaning against the counter.
"Thought I did too but she a grown woman she gone do what she want to do and I can't stop her". I said shrugging and he nodded.

"When you going to get Lil JoJo so he can see the spot". He asked still looking around.
"After I get the crib situated I'm gone go and pick him up". I said taking a seat on the couch.
"I actually came to kick it to you about Kim". He said shaking his head.
"Aww shit man what y'all arguing about now man". I ask with a small laugh.
"Check this out". He started and I already knew it was going to be good so I leaned back into the couch getting comfortable because I knew he was about to be talking for a while.
After sitting JoJo's plate in front of him I take a seat beside him and start eating.
"Did you do anything fun at school today"? I ask looking over at him.
"Yeah we painted today and it got all over the tables the teacher was so mad she had to clean up". He said laughing causing me to laugh.
"How she gone be mad when she brought out the paint". I ask and he shook his head.
"Right". He said before he continued to eat.
"You want to go help granny with the garden tomorrow she need a little help". I say and he looked up shaking his head up and down excitedly.
"Yeah, I like helping gma in the garden and Melvin help me". He said smiling and I couldn't do anything but smile.
After that, it was quiet as we enjoyed our food.
Not even five minutes later the door opened and I looked over seeing Rodney causing me to roll my eyes.
"Wassup baby". He said walking over kissing me while rubbing my butt.
"Nigga don't touch me all this belongs to Jodie". I said wiping my cheek with a disgusted look on my face.

"Fuck that nigga and where's my plate". He said making me frown.
"Don't bad mouth his father in front of him, matter a fact don't do it at all and I didn't fix you anything". I said and he glared at me.
"Who the fuck you talking to bitch". He said walking over grabbing me by my neck tightly.
"Mommy". I heard JoJo whine from beside me.
"Take your plate, go to your room, and lock the door". I said and I heard his chair move back before the room door closed.
Roughly pushing his hand away I stand up from my seat.
"Don't put your damn hands on me especially not in front of my son". I said glaring up at him and he chuckled pushing me to the side.
"Next time have my shit ready when I get home". He said walking into the bathroom closing the door.
Rolling my eyes I pick up my plate and empty it into the trash before going to my room and laying down.
Staring up at the ceiling my mind drifted off to Jodie and I started to cry. I wish he would just listen to me when I tell him that me and Rodney have nothing going on.
"Why you crying, mama". I heard JoJo say as the bed dipped a little.
"You okay". He asked wiping my face with a concerned look.
"I'm okay I just hit my toe on the dresser". I said giving him a small smile.
"Be careful next time okay". He said and I nodded my head.
He laid down beside me and I cuddled up to him closing my eyes.
This is who I live for...
