"What's your excuse tonight Derrick" I asked leaning against the counter starting at Derrick across form me.
He looked in deep thought.
"I already told you. I had to work late. Why are you stressing" he answered not meeting eye contact.
"You sure have been working late a lot lately"
"Yeah, to keep a house over our heads and provide for my family."
"You act like I don't work. It's not like I'm just sitting here doing nothing." I argued.
"Yeah whatever" he shrugged.
" I promise if you're cheating on me. I'm taking my daughter and leaving you. I know my worth" I stated walking off.
I so tired off this. But what I said was true I'm not going to sit around and let him cheat on me knowingly and not done anything.

I had woken up out my sleep to them arguing. Dad had came in late again tonight with the same excuse "working late". My mom was beyond livid. I don't blame her working late till two something in the morning. That's doesn't even add up.
I hope my dad isn't cheating on my momma. Cause I don't know what my momma would do.
