I pushed my way out of the crowd. I turned to an empty hallway.
I remembered where everything was. The principal's office was down this hall.
Running, I arrived at the door.
I reached for the handle but voices erupted from inside. I couldn't hear what they were saying, I only knew that they were approaching the door.
Quickly I spotted a vent in the wall. I lifted it and crawled in. It was cramped and dusty but it was efficient.
"Why is the alarm going off?"
"I think the teachers are having a hard time keeping the press off the school grounds."
"Well I guess we better go help them out."
With that they left.
I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding and crawled to the other end of the vent.
I dropped down into the room, not making a sound.
I went behind the desk and shuffled through the papers.
I'm not entirely sure what I'm looking for but I'm sure I can just grab whatever looks important.

'Approved'
This could be it. I don't know what else he could be talking about.
Now I need to get out of here.
I took the easy way out and opened the door.
Night had fallen.
I opened the window and plummeted into a small oak tree.
From the tree I was able to reach an electrical pole. I changed forms to my pitch black feline and climbed the pole, using my claws for support.

Once I got to the top I changed again. That way I could actually fit on the power lines.
I checked the surroundings of the ground and roof tops before leaving.
I stepped out onto the power lines, safely tucking the schedule file beneath my arm.
Each step weighed the power line down a little bit. Not enough to do anything but, enough to make me notice.
I walked slowly, getting my balance.
I made it to the other wood pole. But I realize I would have to go faster than what I just did to get all the way to the secret hideout before daylight.
I put my foot down on the lines, as if testing the waters.
I retreated my foot back to the sturdy platform. I closed my eyes and took a breath.
"Breath. Cats always land on their feet. You'll be fine." I breathed out.
With that I made sure that I had the file tightly secured and pushed off the platform.
I was sprinting across the power lines. I got to the next platform but didn't stop. If I stop then it'll only be harder.
Each time I crossed a platform I gained speed.
I felt free. Above the buildings, wind in my face.
I grew confident in my balance. I wanted to show off a little to myself. But I was close to the base so it was now or never.
My foot reaches the top of a pole. I pivoted on it. Turning 180*. I pushed off that foot and sent myself into the air. I tucked my body and turned in the air. I got all the way around and prepared to land. I got parallel with the wires and landed on them.
My hands gripped onto bundles of wire. My feet were slightly out turned, landing unstably on two different wires. My bangs drifted in front of my eyes. A breath released a cloud of hot air into the cold atmosphere. My braid cascade over my shoulder. My tail was sticking straight out.

A grin spread across my face.
I scooted myself to my feet. My arms shot up into the air in victory. But it was short lived.
The file floated to the ground. I paced the lines, thinking of how exactly I was supposed to get down.
I looked down. To my right was the roof of the bar. It was very far down so I jumped from the lines to the ledge.
Going from the lines to the ledge was a hole different story that going from the ledge to the ground.
I sucked in a breath and decided to just risk it.
I jumped down off the ledge. I landed on my feet in a squatting position. To soften the shock that would go through my body I tucked and rolled.
I laid on my back and panted.
I looked up to the clear sky and gazed at the stars. Before deciding to get up and retrieve the file.
I slung the bar's back door open and drug myself inside.
"Why didn't you tell me what papers you wanted exactly?" I said whilst stumbling into the bar.
"I didn't know what papers I wanted. I just needed any important information." He said blankly.
He was sipping on whiskey.
I plopped the file in front of him.
He pulled it open and began reading through it. He set his drink down and continued to be engrossed in the paper.
I stretched and rubbed my back. It ached from landing.
It hurt but not bad. My eyes traveled the different alcohols on the shelves.
Kurogiri would never willingly give me any, just because I was 15.
Then my eyes traveled to Tomura's glass he practically abandoned.
Sneakily I snatched the glass and took a large sip of the liquid.
It burned my throat as it traveled down. I hummed in pleasure.
Drinking was my guilty pleasure.
Ever since I first got here I bothered Kurogiri about letting me try any type of alcohol. Kurogiri, being the pain he is, refused, insisting that I wouldn't like it because my age.
After begging, he agreed to let me have a tiny sip of whiskey. When I downed my shot it burned my throat harshly. I was immediately addicted to the burning sensation and taste.
But being dumb I didn't try to hide it. I always tried to sneak and steal more but after a while Kurogiri began to keep a closer eye on me. Making sure I wasn't stealing his booze.
Tomura always found it funny. He could care less if I drank or not, but he didn't care to much for me stealing his drinks.
I downed the rest of the glass, reminiscing of the past.
