'Ryu and Senka, huh?' You thought to yourself, taking a closer look at them.

Ryu wore baggy pants and a burnt orange hoodie. That, along with his short, messy hair, and the bored look in his eyes, made him look quite relaxed, almost tired. 

Meanwhile, Senka had a long-sleeved, button-up shirt and shorts, unlike Ryu's loose and baggy style. Her hair was shoulder-length and light blue in color as it was tied back in a ponytail. Compared to the hair, though, her eyes were quite dark, like if you were standing inside a closed room with no source of light. Even so, they held an energetic and lively glint to them.

Ryu scratched the side of his head. "Anyways, take a seat. We have a lot to discuss," he says, strolling over and taking a seat at the table to take a sip of his water.

Senka nodded, "This is the first time we came across someone who's looking for Sanguis like us." She smiled at you and Killua, before taking a seat next to Ryu. 

Alluka skipped ahead to the empty side across the Bounty Hunters. "Come on Onee-chan, Onii-chan! Let's sit here!" 

"Yeah, yeah." Killua shoved his hands deep in his pockets and took a seat next to Alluka. You followed, taking a seat next to him.

Senka cleared her throat. "Um, so as you might know by now, we're Bounty Hunters, and one of the people we're hunting down is Sanguis–"

"If you really are Hunters, show us your licenses." Killua interrupted, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning back on his chair.

You widen your eyes, whipping your head to face Killua's, only to see a calculating, cautious look in his eyes. 

Senka frowned at Killua's sudden interruption. "Hey, watch your tone, kid!" There was no hiding how pissed she suddenly was as a vein popped in her forehead. "We went through all the trouble of reserving this place and–"

Ryu put a hand in front of Senka, stopping her from going any further. "Here's mine," he simply said, reaching into his pocket and fishing out his Hunter's License with his other hand, before sliding it across the table.

"Oi, Ryu!" Senka quickly stood up from her seat. 

He simply shrugged. "I don't see a reason why we shouldn't show them."

"Yeah! But that kid didn't need to be so rude about it!" Senka vigorously pointed at Killua, who was now examining Ryu's license. 

Unexpectedly, Alluka rose from her seat as well, a petulant frown adorning her features. "Senka! Please don't talk about my Onii-chan like that!" She pouted. 

Senka blinked, as a deafening silence filled the room. 

'Huh...?' You thought to yourself, blinking in surprise as well.

A few more seconds passed as Senka's eyes finally widened in what seemed to be like realization before she facepalmed and sat down in defeat. "Sorry about that."

Meanwhile, Ryu sighs. "Not even 10 minutes in and you already got worked up about something, damn..." 

"Well, I'm sorry, I guess." She rolls her eyes at Ryu, before turning to the three of you. "Don't get the wrong idea, I know why you guys need to be extra careful, I just got too carried away again," she sighs deeply. 

Killua's eyes widened as if he was taken aback by what just happened. "No, you're right. I should have let you finish what you were saying first," he said, leaning forward and resting his arms on the table. 

As you gazed at him once more, you could see that the cautious glint he had in his eyes was gone. 'Does this mean Killua thinks these people are safe?' You wondered, looking at Ryu and Senka as you took a sip of water from the glass in front of you. 

"Thanks for that Alluka," Senka smiled at the girl, who giggled as she sat back down. "Of course! I'll forgive you for now but don't fight with Onii-chan again, okay?" Alluka smiles.

Senka chuckles. "Yeah yeah," she says, reaching for her own Hunter's License as well. "Anyways, here's mine." She slides it across the table, which Killua picked up. 

"I see," he mumbled, looking at the two licenses. "Single star, huh? Not bad," he smirked, returning the licenses to them.

"Right, we're the real deal, so you can rest easy," Senka takes back her license and puts it away. "How about you and (Y/N)? Don't tell me you guys are hunters at this age!"

'Well, she's in for a surprise,' You thought to yourself, looking at Killua from the corner of your eye as his lips tugged upwards in a small smile. 

"Here," Killua simply said, taking out his own Hunter's License and handing it to them.

"What?! No way!!" Senka grabbed the license, while Ryu leaned over to take a look. "Even though it's just a rookie's license, you're still pretty young! How old were you when you passed the exam?!"

Killua closed his eyes in thought. "When I was around 13, I think."

"Hold up, THIRTEEN?!" Senka exclaimed, rising from her seat once more. "No one has ever passed a test that young ever since Ging Freecss! How?!"

Meanwhile, Ryu narrowed his eyes at you. "Don't tell me you have one, too."

"Ah, no! I've never even taken the exam before," you say, waving your hands frantically. 

"I see," Ryu mumbled, taking on a neutral expression once more and turning to Killua. "Hey, what's your surname?"

You notice Killua's eyes darken when he heard that, but he managed to maintain a neutral expression. "Zoldyck. Alluka and I are from the Zoldyck family." 

"Ah... no wonder," Senka's eyes widened before she suddenly took in a sharp inhale. "WAIT, YOU'RE A ZOLDYCK?! LIKE, AN ACTUAL ZOLDYCK?! YOU AND ALLUKA??!!!"

"Christ, Senka, calm down." Ryu sighs, propping his elbow on the table and resting his chin on his hand. 

"Why aren't YOU freaking out?! Don't they have some crazy bounty on their heads?! Even a picture of one of them costs a fortune!" Senka argued, leaning closer to Ryu.

Killua chuckled. "So what, are you going to kill me and Alluka now?" he asked, his voice taking on a venomous tone as he put a protective arm around Alluka's shoulders.

A shiver seemed to go down your spine as he said this, and it seems like Ryu and Senka felt a chill as well. "No, no. It doesn't seem right to hunt you down like this, especially Alluka!" Senka sighed, sitting back down. "This is wild... right, Ryu?"

"Yeah. Totally," he deadpanned.

"Hey! At least pretend to look interested or something!"

You couldn't help but smile at the two of them. 'They seem to argue a lot, how do they even work together?' you wonder, taking another sip from your glass.

"Anyways, that Sanguis must be up to something if two Zoldycks are looking for him," Ryu says, sitting up straighter as quiet determination lit up his eyes.

Killua shook his head with a small, exasperated sigh. "It's not us, this idiot here wants to look for him," he said, wrapping an arm around your shoulder.

"Eh, (Y/N)?" Senka blinked in surprise. 

"Uhh... well, it's a long story," you scratched the side of your head in embarrassment.

Senka shook her head. "Tell us! We need to know!"

You took in a long inhale, "Okay, so it all started when Killua, Alluka, and I stayed in Heavens Arena..."

"I see, he's made you his target, huh..." Senka mumbled as a deep frown overtook her features. "But why are you looking for him? You could seriously die, you know? You saw how he fought."

You look down at your hands. "I don't know... I feel like I need to settle things with him. Our fight back then told me that much," you say, staring at your palms with an expression you can't really describe.

Senka nodded. "Can't blame you. I mean, we're hunting him down and all." She chuckles, while Ryu clenched his fists together. 

"Look, if you're searching for Sanguis, your best chance is to work with us. He's one of our main targets, too. Right, Ryu?" Senka nudges Ryu, who nods silently.

"The way you are now, though. You're gonna get killed." Ryu states, leaning back into his chair.

Killua turns to you with narrowed eyes. "See what you're getting yourself into–"

You placed your hand on his. "I'll be fine, Killua." You give him a reassuring smile, to which Killua sighed. He didn't move his hand away from yours, though. 

"Well, if that's the case, they could train with us! We still need to improve on our Nen abilities and teamwork, you know?" Senka suggests, placing a finger to her chin.

Ryu merely shrugs at this. "I guess you're right."

Senka laughs. "Well? How about it?" She turns to you, grinning from ear to ear. 

You widen your eyes, looking to Killua and Alluka for affirmation. Alluka nodded, a bright smile adorning her features. Meanwhile, Killua was avoiding eye contact as he rested his chin on his other hand. However, you look down on the hand that you placed on Killua's, feeling him interlace his fingers with yours. 

You smile softly, turning to the two bounty hunters. "Yes! Thank you so much for letting us work with you!"
