Jack POV
"Frost boy! I've been looking everywhere for ya,"
I rubbed my chest in relief that it was Bunnymund and not anyone else.
"How did you know where I am?"
Bunny sneaked a glance at the foot of the closet and pointed at the book I dropped earlier. "Your bloody scent. What the hell are you doing here?" I rubbed the back of my neck when he gave me a suspicious look as he said, "This is Jade's house. Stalking?" I bent and took the book sheepishly as he crossed his furry arms and shook his head. "Any idea what this is?" I waved the book to his face as he went up to me, his face scrunched in confusion.
He took the book from my hands and looked at the front and back cover of the book. Bunny flipped the first page open and I shuffled closer beside him to see it.
The first page revealed a small potrait of a family. There were two blond men and a dark haired woman holding a baby. The fattest men, which I assume to be the father, had a huge crown on his head, and so does the other man and the woman. The baby was an exception; The father and the mother were sitting on a big carved chair, which was a faded gold. The other man was standing beside his father, a bow on his hand. He was skinny but muscular. He had a serious expression on his face. The mother, on the other hand, was smiling politely along with the father.
"This is a royal family," I blurted out, and Bunny nodded knowingly, flipping to the next page. The page behind the potrait has writings; Though the letters were faded by age, we could still managed to read it.

'Royal family of Dunbroch, after birth of the Royal Highness Princess Jade. His Majesty King Magnus, Queen Aurabella and Prince Raoul overjoyously welcome a new royal member.' It says.
"Jade?" I exclaimed her name quite smooth and soft unlike I wanted it to be. Me and Bunny exchanged looks before flipping to another page full of faded letters. Bunny stopped and started to read, but eager as I was, I made him flip to the next page.
He glared at me before flipping to the page that has another potrait.
King Magnus and Queen Aurabella were standing straight majestically, whilst a lot mature looking Prince Raoul stood beside his father. Princess Jade was standing beside her mother. She wasn't smiling, and wasn't wearing a crown or a tiara like her other family members do. She had a bow in her hand...
The potrait caption said, 'The Royal Family after celebrating King Magnus' joyful day. In this day even, Royal Highness Prince Raoul and Princess Jade finished their archery training.'
Bunny flipped the next page and both of us were awestruck with the potrait.
It was a burning castle; People in armors and normal clothes were carrying buckets and there were horrific expressions everywhere. The Dunbroch flag was burning, and the castle walls were on vicious fire.
The caption was written in shaky calligraphy; There were spots of water covering the page after the potrait which I assume to be tears. It said, 'The castle was intruded with powerful bandits, thus light every inch of castle on fire. The King, Queen and Prince was fortunate; But the Princess was less fortunate,' The writing was getting wavy and shaky. 'Her Royal Highness was trapped in the archery room. She was a strong willed Princess, brave even. She left at a young age; 16. Though her rescue to Prince Raoul would not be forgotten. Rest in Paradise, Princess Jade Aurora Dunbroch.'

We fell silent.
"So..." Bunny broke the silence but I was still gaping at the caption. I dropped my staff when I read that but I didn't bother to pick it up. My eyeballs were fixed on the phrase 'Rest in Paradise Princess Jade Aurora Dunbroch.'
"She burnt and died saving her brother?" Was all I could say.
"But survived, technically." He retorted. "Do you think we should tell her what we know?" By the time I said that I'd already put the book back in the box.
"Don't you think she already knows?"
I put the box in the closet and closed the door of the closet, shaking my head. "She said that she doesn't,"
I stood up and went for the door, Bunny tagging along with me. Whatever the reason Bunny tells me, I'm doing nothing but tell her what I know. How could she not tell me this? Its some sort of a lie. Maybe...
"I want to look for her," I stated firmly. Bunny gave me a confused look.
"How?"
"How did you find me? Your answer is my answer."
Bunny shook his head at me, muttering.
"Bloody frosties."
