"I can't believe all of you came!" Tooth gushed, loosening her embrace on Aqua but kept her hands on his shoulder. Aqua remained calm, a small smile on his face. Breeze giggled as Baby Tooth played with her extremely long hair, tugging it slightly.
Apparently when I'd asked them what is their center, they shrugged and pulled out a confused expression. I then brought them to meet North, Sandy, Bunny, Tooth and... Jade. Tooth immediately gushed over their visit, hugging every one of them. North and Bunny did the same, but didn't gush over them like Tooth did. Sandy mostly kept to himself, he just smiled at them and returned to focus on Jade.
I don't actually get what Sandy is doing, actually. He just stared at Jade's body which was laid on a bed in the empty room. He just stared at her, literally. Like he's trying to solve Jade, like she was a puzzle. North and Bunny excused themselves as Tooth started to open a conversation between Breeze. They communicated like sisters, not doubting any word that come out of each other's mouth.
Aqua stayed silent as soon as he saw Jade; His lips were creased into a tight line. Ben, on the other hand, awkwardly joined their conversation, tangling his fingers around Breeze's hand. I could see Breeze's response as she turned to look and Ben, smiling at him. Tooth then gushed about how cute they look together, covering her mouth and giggling, which her tooth fairies seem to mirror.
I bravely stepped to the foot of the bed, breathing shallowly. I stopped immediately just as her body came into my sight. Slowly, I turned to look at her completely.
My breathing became shaky as I observed that her body had become paler than what I saw earlier. Though her hair was fixed, my favourite braid on the side of her head wasn't there anymore, she still looked like a dead body to me. The underside of her eyes was a darker shade of pale, giving her face a monotoned look. The pink lips wasn't there anymore, what replaced it was a pale and cracky pair of lips.
I whimpered as my eyes fell down to her pale hands. I feel like holding them, I want to hold them as tight as I could. But I'm afraid I might break her. She'd already proven to everyone that she's too fragile to break. Sandy flipped his eyes at me, giving me a sympathetic look as I covered my mouth and my nose, trying to stop my icy tears from falling.
That moment I finally realised that the conversation between Tooth and Breeze had stopped. None of us spoke, all we could hear was the shallow and extremely slow breathing of the girl laid on the bed inside the room, fighting for the remains of her life. Aqua slowly joined me, going to the side of the bed. He sighed shakily, touching Jade's feet.

"Shit," He cursed and jerked his hand away. Everyone eyes him confusedly. I tightened my grasp on my staff, attempting to hold back my anger. The jealousy in me came again, one does not simply touch a person's girlfriend like that. "She's cold." He mumbled to Sandy. Sandy nodded absently, not taking his eyes off Jade.
"Hey buddy," Aqua whispered, carressing Jade's hair. I took a sharp breath with his touch. Aqua smiled as a strand of hair fell to her forehead. I growled silently as he continued touch her. I leant forward slightly. Aqua noticed my irritation and stopped, backing away. I huffed and ran a hand through my hair in annoyance. How dare he. I bravely sat on the foot of the bed, crossing my legs and staring out to the open window. The last sun rays of the day shone on Jade's skin and mine, the heat it provided didn't gave any effect to either of us.
"Jadey..." I heard Breeze stutter behind me. I didn't bother to look at her because if I do, there's a chance I would break down in the moment and probably cry. The gold rays reached Jade's fingers and I widened my eyes in surprise.
Her fingers twitched at the heat.
Everyone shot up. Sandy immediately clutched Jade's arm, Aqua leant forwards, Tooth hovered behind Sandy, Ben and Breeze suddenly held each other, and I, stood up, all at the same time.
"Jade?" I said hoarsely. I breathed heavily, waiting for another response, hopeful. The sun rays dimmed as a few minutes passed. She didn't make another unexpected response. I sighed as the last light was replaced with the dark sky from outside the window. Sandy shifted and finally, everyone calmed. I reluctantly flopped down on the end of the bed, making Jade's body move with the pressure I'm making.
"What was that." Ben said monotonedly. Tooth shook her head slightly, as if she's trying to shake off the incident earlier. My eyes connected with her gaze, and her pink eyes blinked as we did a silent conversation. She and I both saw what happened, I guess. The fact that she still has the hope to live bring flowers to my heart. If we could live forever, I'd take no regrets to make it as better.
"How long is she holding?" Aqua's voice was strained. Sandy turned to face him with a frown. With a swift movement with his hands, gold dust floated up in front of him where everyone could pay attention to. The gold dust formed a very cursive number and a simple word.
"3 days only?!" I lunged my question in disbelief. Sandy bowed his head in dissapointment and nodded weakly. The Tooth fairies floated lower, their bodies were slightly bent.

The thought of losing her in three days made me shiver. If only we could find a way to fix her, any way at all, we definitely would.
Tooth cleared her throat in attempt to bring attention to her in the dead silent room. "Sandy and I need to go," She informed weakly. "We have other duties.. Jack can you-"
"Yeah, sure." I answered the unsaid question. Tooth went up to me and smiled. Then, she leant to Jade's forehead and whispered something I barely could make out. As she pulled away, Sandy waved at all of us, trying his best to smile. Tooth and Sandy walked out of the room after a few goodbye exchanges.
Okay, literally. This room is perfectly packed with a group of elementors. Ben and Breeze sighed and crossed their legs casually on the floor, still holding hands. Aqua went up to the window and closed it, I smiled gratefully at him because I couldn't do more than just sit here.
"That twitch isn't just any twitch." Breeze mumbled loudly, gaining confusion from myself. Ben nodded slightly, followed by Aqua.
"What do you mean?" I questioned. Breeze shot me an exasperated look.
"Heat. Flame. Its what she needs to stay alive." Aqua said in a duh voice. "Then why don't we just give her the flame she needs?" I stood up started for the door. My steps was stopped as a trail of gushing water encircled me. I turned my body towards Aqua, careful not to touch the dark blue liquid. Aqua folded his arms up and raised an eyebrow.
"Like the Guardians would let you. They'd think its dangerous."
"Its the only way," I pressed through gritted teeth. Ben shook his head.
"What would you say if we throw Jade into a massive bonfire in like, now." I widened my eyes and growled at them, not able to move as Aqua tightened the water around me. The liquid threatened to make contact to my skin. "Are you crazy?!" I hissed and Ben shrugged.
"Even you wouldn't let that happen. Let alone the others." Breeze sighed. "Of course noone would let that happen! That'll hurt her! Burn her to ashes!" I screeched. The water around me got wider, due to my tension and Aqua's exasperation.
"Do you remember what she is? What kind of elementor is she?" Breeze emphasized, eyeing me cautiously. "A fire elementor," I groaned. This isn't a time for riddles!
"What helps to heal you?" Breeze asked again. I sighed, giving in. I travelled to memory lane painfully. "She...um." I stammered, referring to Jade. "Go on," Breeze encouraged as I stopped. "She uses frost for my wounds, I guess. Um, frost? Cold?" I stuttered. Breeze smiled at me and gestured to Jade.
"And what will heal Jade?" She waved her fingers and a soft breeze went up to Jade's hair, ruffling the dark locks softly. "I don't know! Noone does!" I groaned again. Aqua added more water around me, making it thicker and closer to my body. "Think or I'll wet you." Aqua threatened and I rolled my eyes.
"Why can't you just tell me?" I sighed.
"We want you to understand. Again," Breeze took a deep breath.
"What helps you heal?"
"Frost." I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"What will help Jade heal?"
"She's a bloody fire elementor so..." Aqua hinted me, grinning.
I knitted my eyebrows together and shifted my weight uncomfortabally. After a second of staring at Jade warily, it hit me. Right on the brain. Freaking bull's eye.
"Fire? Flame? Heat?"
I widened my eyes as Ben, Breeze and Aqua grinned at me in approval.
It makes perfect sense. Fire helps Jade heal, because Jade's a fire elementor. It wouldn't burn her, instead, she'll get stronger. Oh why didn't I think of that? I mentally punched myself.
Aqua pulled back the water around me as I stomped my staff to the floor. Frost trailed on the wooden floor but melted not long after.
"Are we going to sneak Jade out and throw her into a freaking bonfire?" I asked them playfully, flipping my hair to the side. Breeze cracked up and shook her head.
"Really, Jack. You should think often."
I ran a hair through my hair in consideration, nodding as a sign of agreement. I flipped my gaze towards the unconcious angel lying on the near bed. I shook the thought in ny head that represented an illusion of her, smiling. I missed the curve of her lips. Geez. Can I get crazy from this?
