"You and Maddie seem pretty serious" Ashton said, taking a sip from the beer in front of him.
"We're good" I said nonchalantly. Neither of us really knew what to say when it came to our relationship. It was still weird for us and all of our friends couldn't seem to come to terms with it.
"You're not messing with her, are you?" Ashton asked.
"What? No. Why would you even think that?"
"Luke, you two didn't get on. We don't want this to be some stunt to get back at her" Calum said.
"It's not. I actually like her believe it or not"
"It's just hard for us to believe"
"Guys, just accept it"
"We're trying"
"You and Mia were weird at first" I said, pointing at Calum.
"Yeah, that's true" Michael backed me up.
"Yeah but we didn't hate each other. Things have just changed so quick and it's weird"
"Can't you guys just be supportive? I mean nothing's changed drastically. If anything things have got better. We all get on better because Maddie and I aren't arguing constantly. We still hang out like we used to. Nothings changed really"
"He's not wrong" Ashton said.
"We're just worried you're playing her. We don't want you using her"
"What would I be using her for? Sex?"
"Luke, don't take it the wrong way"
"How can I not take it the wrong way? My best mates think I'm a dick and seem to have no trust in me"
"Luke-"
"I know you guys are like Maddie's brothers but I'm good, Maddie's good, we're all good"
"We'll take you word for it" Ashton said, obviously trying to calm and end the situation. There were mumbled apologies.
"So, Fifa?" Calum held up the case. Mike and I nodded whilst Ash rolled his eyes and pulled his phone out.

"What's up, bitches?" We all turned our attention to Maddie who had just walked into the room. I paused the game, making Calum groan, and stood up, walking over to her. I pecked her lips and hugged her quickly before sitting back down with Maddie next to me.
"You alright?" I asked. She nodded.
"You know it's serious when Fifa gets paused" Michael commented.
"What?" Maddie queried.
"Don't worry about it. They were being stupid earlier"
"So, what's next?"
"You guys can leave so we can hang out" Maddie told the guys.
"Clingy much" Calum said.
"Says you" I commented.
"Yeah, damn, Mia was clingy at the start"
"We weren't talking about her" Maddie told Cal.
"I was not clingy"
"Yes, you were. And I'm telling Mia what you said" Maddie responded. He rolled his eyes.
"Seriously, we want to hang out by ourselves"
"What so you guys can do the deed?" Ashton asked.
"Guys leave please"
"Fine, fine. We're going" Michael said and they all left.
"Where's your mum?" Maddie asked, once the front door shut.
"She went out with your mum, I think"
"They're like besties"
"Like? They are"
"So, what do you want to do?"
"Let's go watch some films upstairs" She nodded and we headed to my room. I grabbed my laptop and let Maddie log in and open up Netflix. I sat down on the bed next to her, putting pillows up behind us to make it more comfortable.
"What shall we watch?"
"Not sure. I don't really feel like a film actually. Let's just watch a few episodes of something"
"How I Met Your Mother?"
"Sounds good"
****
"I should get home"
"No, stay the night" I grasped onto her hand as she stood up from the bed. It turned out that my dad was working late and my mum was still over Maddie's so we were home alone.

"Luke"
"Just stay here"
"Fine" She gave in quickly. She pulled her hair out of the messy bun it was in and pulled her leggings off, leaving my oversized top on before reaching underneath her top to awkwardly take her bra off.
"You could've just took your top off"
"Your top"
"Still"
"That's effort"
"I'm pretty sure what you did was more effort"
"Pretty impressive though, right? You didn't even see any boobage" She said as she got under the covers beside me. I rolled my eyes and chuckled as I pulled my own shirt off. Maddie switched the table lamp off and rolled onto her side, wrapping an arm around my torso and tangling our legs together.
"Do you want to go out tomorrow night? You know, on a proper date"
"We had a date the other night. And why does it matter about all these dates? We're already together"
"I'm just trying to be a good boyfriend"
"You're a great boyfriend, Lu"
"I feel like a shitty one. Cal, Ash and Mike think I'm using you and want revenge for all those years we hated each other. I'm sure Mia thinks the same"
"Is that what they were saying to you earlier? Before I got here?"
"Yeah"
"Luke, just ignore them. They're just watching out for me. It's sweet and I'm grateful that they care but I care about you a lot more. You're the best boyfriend I've had and we've only been together for like a week, maybe two"
"12 days actually"
"See, you care so fucking much. They just don't realise that. And as for Mia, she thinks I'm with you for the same reason and she's my best friend so don't take it too personally. They're just confused"
"I fucking love you" I said, fully meaning it.
"I love you too" She replied.
"So, about that date?"
"Fine. But nothing fancy"
"I'll pick you up at 7"
"Oh, you're actually going to let me go home then?"
"Only for a few hours. Then you'll be back here. Dress somewhat fancy though"
"How about a casual dress?"
"Perfect"
"I swear to god, if you end up just taking me to a pizza place, I'll kill you"

Fate Overcharge (Stalled)
Rin Tohsaka, the young genious magus who, using the power of the holy grail, built an empire spanning the whole world, decides to use the power of the second sorcery to expand her empire to other realms and... Ehm, sorry, wrong story. Err, alright, starting again... Rin Tohsaka is the current head of the Tohsaka family and a likely master in the upcoming fifth grail war. She doesn't have a wish she wants granted, but she will fight to win. For if there is a battle to be fought, could a Tohsaka settle for any less than a complete victory? This is a fan fiction for the Fate/StayNight and an alternative rendition of the fifth grail war that introduces new characters, and shows never before seen sides of the old ones. Since this is a fan fiction, knowledge of the original works is needed to understand it. Watching stay/night or zero should be sufficient, but reading both works along with Hollow Ataraxia is recommended for not missing any details. (I won't assume the readers have read Hollow A.) - Warning: Tagged Mature(+15) mainly for violence and strong language. Nothing graphic, and still a lot milder than the original Visual Novel - Note1: I am trying to improve so constructive critisizm and random comments are welcome. Note2: Be warned! Update rate will likely be slow. How slow, I can't say. Note3: I don't consider any side works in the franchise as cannon. So if, for some reason, Nero is summoned, do not riot when he turns out to be a burly, hairy caster. (That won't happen!)

Two Existentialists | S.R.
"How many existentialists does it take to screw a lightbulb?" Spencer asked with a small laugh. Once again the room was silent. You faintly heard Agent Rossi mutter, "Don't.""2. One to change the light bulb and one to observe how it symbolizes an incandescent beacon of subjectivity in a netherworld of cosmic nothingness," he said. The room was silent still, until you laughed. His eyes looked up at yours in confusion. "Wouldn't they sit in the dark and hope that the bulb decided to light again? An existentialist would never change the bulb. He would allow the darkness to exist," you questioned.-#1 #spencerreid#1 #mgg#1 emilyprentiss
