But the way he looked at her when she went to sleep, the way he always brought her flowers after they fought, the way he kissed the nape of her neck when they were caught up in the moment... all those little things made her fall in love all over again with the man. She knew Louis Grimaldi was a better person. He was a prince! It was all she ever wanted. She loved Louis. But not nearly as much as she loved Charles Bartholomew Bass.
