《EVERLASTING LOVE ( KLAUS MIKAELSON ) ONE》Impossible Events

Valerie lay in her bed as she felt too ill to stand up. After throwing up yesterday, she had been continually being sick.
She knew something was wrong but couldn't understand what. She hadn't done anything recently that could of lead her to be ill. Suddenly the door to her bedroom swung open and the face of Caroline was revealed.
"Hey Caroline?" She was confused as to why she was there. "Val? Are you okay, I came to check on you." Valerie smiled at her. "You have more important things to be doing Care." Caroline shook her head as she disagreed.
"No, you are my friend, and friends come first." Valerie smiled sweetly at her in thanks. "Really though, I'm okay, did you find Bonnie yesterday?" She nodded for an answer. She looked as if she was hiding something but Valerie shrugged it off.
"Wait. Are we the only people in here?" Valerie nodded but furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. "Yeah, why?" Caroline looked around the room. "How come I can hear three heartbeats?"
Alarmed, Valerie looked up. "What!" She then jumped out of the bed and looked around in panic. Caroline, who had now released where the heartbeat was coming from, frowned at Valerie in confusion.
She moved towards her stomach and placed her hand on it. Gasping quietly when she could feel the undeveloped heartbeat tapping against her.
Valerie gulped. "Caroline, please tell me this isn't what I think it is." She begged her but Caroline just smiled empathetically at her. "But i-i don't understand, I haven- oh my god." Valerie released she had slept with Klaus, she then remembered he was a Vampire. He can't reproduce.
"But vampires can't-" Caroline looked up in alarm. "Who Klaus? Please tell me you didn't hook up with Klaus." Valerie looked down in sadness. "But surely it can't be his, vampires can't reproduce because well, their dead."

"Well I haven't been with anyone else." Valerie looked as if she was going to break. She couldn't take all this drama. Her brother had just died and now she was pregnant?!
"Maybe there was a loophole? I mean he is part werewolf right?" Valerie groaned in frustration. "He's not going to believe this, let alone want to be in the babies life."
"You're going to tell him right?" Valerie looked away from her gaze. "Valerie! It's his right to know." Valerie sighed. "I know that Care! But is he really going to want to be apart of its life, realistically no!"
"He cares about you right?" Valerie's eyes softened. "I think so." Caroline nodded. "Then surely he wouldn't just leave you." Valerie nodded at her words. "Look, I'll go visit him once I've got dressed." Caroline nodded and grinned at her.
"You know what, I think a baby is just the thing to solve everyone's differences around here." Valerie grimaced at the thought of having to carry a baby for nine months.
"Whatever, leave now I'm getting dressed." Caroline just waved and left, leaving Valerie to sigh in frustration.
--
"Klaus?!"
Valerie had just arrived at his mansion to speak to him about the baby but, he was nowhere to be found.
She searched every room until she finally came across one that had Klaus in. "I need more time! Stop hounding me!" Valerie furrowed her eyebrows and walked closer to him.
"What are you on about? I haven't 'hounded' you at all!" Klaus looked up at her. "Valerie? Is it really you?" Valerie rolled her eyes. "Who else is it going to be? Damon?"
Klaus looked down. "Prove it to me." Valerie scrunched her nose up. "Prove what? That I'm not Damon?" Klaus looked agitated. "Silas was here, he pretended to be you." This shocked Valerie and she moved closer towards him. "Are you okay? What did he want?"

"He wanted the cure, he kept bugging me for it." Valerie's eyes softened and suddenly Klaus screamed out and clutched onto the chair next to him. "What's wrong? Klaus!" Valerie stood still not knowing what was wrong. "Silas stabbed me with the white oak, there's still a piece inside me."
"Well what do you need me to do?"
He looked down at a pair of bloody pliers and answered her. "It's simply really, I just need you to cut out the piece of steak." Valerie gulped as she looked down at the pliers herself.
She picked them up and dug into the small hole in his back from where he had tried himself to get it out.
"Klaus, I can't see anything." Valerie groaned in disgust at the ribs she saw. "Keep searching it's there, I can feel the splinters scratching against my heart."
"There's nothing there! You must be imagining it." She chucked the pliers away. "What are you doing? I'll die." Klaus looked up perplexed. "No you won't because there's nothing there."
Klaus sat still and just stared at Valerie with a face that looked like he was thinking. "Why are you here?" He was still in pain but until Valerie decided she was wrong there was nothing he could do. "U-uh it doesn't matter, it's not important."
Klaus furrowed his eyebrows as his looked like he was trying to figure her out. Valerie had gotten really nervous suddenly and was edging closer to legging it out of there.
Suddenly, Klaus shot up, free from pain. "It stopped hurting, the white oaks gone." Valerie smirked "Told you, you were imagining it." Klaus shook his head. "It must of been Silas, he made me think it was there."
"Lucky you weren't dying then." Klaus just smiled at her and Valerie returned the gesture.

Ph. D. In Sorcery
Follow Anastasia, the unlucky physicist turned wizard, as her reality gets turned upside down and she is plunged into a world of gods, magic, swords, and adventure. Short and sweet description, anything more would be a spoiler and I detest those. Now, what you can expect from reading: This is my first time writing, or better said allowing someone else to read that mess so don’t raise your expectations too much. Still, I will try to keep the story flowing, while also devoting as much time as I can to editing. In my opinion, the story is written at a faster pace than normal with time skips here and there. I will do my best to not allow the faster pace to ruin the story by using those time skips to raise the skill of the main character. I am mainly looking for feedback while I test myself in new and unexplored waters. I did put a lot of thought into worldbuilding and the magic system, it is something that has been mulling inside my head for years before I sat down to write anything down. First and foremost I am an engineer and not a writer. I will try to do my utmost to make the world logical and consistent, but sometimes I might not express that in a way that’s clearly understood. I have a rough outline with several possible endings, but the story will change and evolve as I do. But in case I have to stop for whatever reason, the story will get an ending. It will be done even if I have to send coded messages from a bunker. I am a big fan of the Dresden Files so you can be certain that everything mentioned will in most cases be used, with a few red herrings sprinkled in the mix. But that also means I will enjoy putting the main character through the meat grinder while I eat popcorn and laugh from my evil lair. Physics, and to be more precise electromagnetism, quantum field theory, general and special relativity are very interesting topics for me that I research in my spare time. That means that the premise of the story will be using that research to bring logic to magic. Stupid I know, magic is magic, but to me, there is no reason why there shouldn’t be a concrete set of rules there. But it is still magic and that allows me to play with some things that shouldn’t normally be possible. I will focus on evolving the main character and having her react as anyone normal would, from my perspective. There will be scenes of battle, gore, and sexy times, but I will not go into too many details, counting on your imagination to fill the gaps. There will be plenty of combat, even battles ranging from a few dozen, a hundred, and thousands of participants. I could go on but there isn’t much to say that would convince anyone to read, either you thought the title was cool or you liked the poster. Or not, but after several days in photoshop, that’s the best I could do. And the title was originally Sorceress with a Ph.D. The new one makes a little less sense but I like the ring of it more for some reason. I just hope someone enjoys what I write as much as I do. In the end that is the reason, I am doing this, because I enjoy putting my thoughts on paper and seeing the outcome. Credit for the art: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/e0o8nw

The Last Journey
A slice of life litrpg story... or is it? It's burning slow, though. Moving on: War comes with a great cost. Lives and time wasted for most part. One could either be run with sword, be poisoned, be bowed, and sometimes meet their end with just a tiny speck of wood. With magic, it becomes even more colorful. From lightning, to worse poison, to hovering rocks, to weird bladed leaves, to whipping roots, and to a lot more odd things easily reasoned with magic. A wonderful creation. But once used to something more than wonder, more than tricks to gather laughs, it becomes worse. War becomes worse. For there is not only blood to be spilled. A particular town almost met the same end. Soldiers geared with swrords and bows came with mounts. Horses burning lush grasses as it cracked boulders and the soil alike with every step. The kind that only war ones could ever do. Even strange wheeled creations that oozed danger were towed, loaded with something meant to destroy. But not once had they acted upon what such devices should've done, nor what an an army is supposed to do. Siege never occurred, as much as a command to war. No. Magic existed so a simple little fire is all the worth the town has. No sword drawn, no arrows nocked, nothing. Just some mana spent and through the ash they march. That was how Nudius saw her end. It came not even as a surprise. She didn't have the moment to fully register what occurred before she found herself in an empty dark space. Life lost, time spent. All from a fire that had not even touched her. But she knew very well that it was magic. Something she wished to have and strived for to have. Yet it seemed that none of it would matter now. Nudius was well aware of what the color around meant, of the odd situation, of the unfeeling state of her being. It was death and that was it. She didn't have to worry or dream further. Although there wasn't what she truly wanted in what death to her is, but at least, Nudius was comforted to what she believed death is. Rest. But little did she know there's something more than that empty space. It wasn't only the promise of rest, but was also more than she could ever hope for. Another chance at life. Another chance to dream. ***Tags are there just in case. You never know! Umm... HI-MI-TSU. Story blurb+: This is slow burn, quite slice of life story about a girl learning magic. All the while as she fatten herself up. So yeah, progression fantasy. But there's Litrpg! Numbers! Magic! Spells! And of course! There's something more. But read on ahead, please. Oh yes. Plot! There is, too. Disclaimer: The cover isn't made by me. Just layered it with a text. I got it from a free website, if I correctly recall. I'll see to it. (Haven't worked on it.)

#Call Cthulhu
An eldritch comedy. After Cthulhu is summoned into the world, the whole place goes to shit. Things really got out of hand after Cthulhu got nuked. Alex and Julius, a pair of brothers, try their best to make it in a North America reshaped by an eldritch apocalypse. “Stop right there Philip!” Julius interrupted, the vein on his temple starting to throb. “I do not want to hear another simile about what magic is. I have had magic explained to me by three cult leaders, a wizard, and a cannibal. I've heard that magic is like a rainbow, all its parts blending together. The human unconsciousness, powerful and unknowable. A body, you don't want to eat the heart straight away. I am sick and tired of people telling me what magic is. I know damn well what it is.” He drew a breath, interrupting his rant. “Magic is a bad joke. A whole lot of setup, for some nonsense punchline. This whole god-damned apocalypse is an eldritch comedy.”
