《Stuffed Animals (Ghostface x Reader)》3 - SURPRISE

Since you'd found out about them, you had been studying Billy and Stu extra. Billy guarded himself highly, but Stu not so much.
You'd started talking to them more, making sure to keep an eye on them when they came by the video store. They didn't mind. Stu basked in your attention like a dog in the sun, and Billy glared daggers at all of the people who stood too close. They were protective of you, but they had been since you met them.
Now, you didn't typically follow people home, but you wanted a better idea of what you were dealing with before you acted on any feelings. So, as you do, you followed Billy home.
You didn't break in that night, but you memorized his address and how to get there. It wasn't that difficult to get Stu's address, though — half the school knew it.
You waited until both of the boys were busy and you knew where they were. You went to Stu's house first, getting in through the back door. You already knew your way around and very quickly found his bedroom.
You looked around for a bit, finding a handful of drawings — mostly of you — and a jacket you'd thought you lost. A normal person would find it creepy, but you thought it was kind of cute that he missed you. You left the jacket, not wanting to "disturb" his room.
Well, you did do one thing. You left a little stuffed dog on Stu's bed. After that, you quickly locked and exited through the back door.
Next, you went to Billy's, breaking in through a window. You did have to work it a bit, but you managed to unhook the lock and get in.
You looked around the general area of the house, but only briefly. You searched around and made your way to Billy's bedroom.
No, you weren't going to sniff his dirty laundry and take a nap in his bed, you were just going to investigate.
You found a stash of knives in his closet and a gun hidden in a box under his bed (you figured it was his father's). Also in a box under his bed were a handful of photos. They were all of you in various places: leaving work, around school, at the store.
Most had been taken at school, and all of them had dates written on the bottom. The oldest dated back to July 27th, not long after you got here. You were walking Cheese with a camera bag hanging off of your shoulder.
There wasn't that much else of interest, but you stayed a little longer anyways. His room was somewhat comforting. You pulled a stuffed rabbit out of your jacket, placing it on his bed. It was cream colored with long, floppy ears.
You heard something not far away, maybe a thud or something closing. You thought it was outside but you knew you had to hurry. You left Billy's room quickly but quietly, then unlocked and climbed out of one of the second story windows, closing it on your way down.

You couldn't stand on window frames, but you used them as a buffer as you jumped down. You hit the ground in a roll, negating most of the damage your body would take. It still hurt, but nothing was sprained or broken, and that meant you could get away.
You ran a good part of the way before walking as soon as you were well away from his house. When you got home, you walked through your house making sure it was how you left it.
You didn't give people your address or phone number in case anything ever went south, but you began making a plan of your own that night.
At lunch the next day, you were eating with your group. "Hey Y/n?" Sidney tapped your shoulder.
"Yeah?"
"I'm staying at Tatum's tonight. Would you wanna come with me? We don't sleep over much together."
"I'd love to, yeah!" You smiled.
"If you want, you can ride the bus home with me. Tatum can pick us both up after her practice and then you can ride to school with us." She proposed.
"Awesome," You agreed, "Thank you."
Everything went as planned, and you were staying at Sid's house while you waited on Tatum. Nothing good was on TV, so you and Sidney just sat in the living room and talked.
In the middle of your conversation about dogs, the phone rang. Sidney picked it up, it was Tatum. "Practice ran late, so I'm on my way now."
"Tatum, it's after 7." Sid hummed.
"I know, I know, but don't worry. Casey and Steve didn't bite it till well after 10." She joked.
"Wow, I feel so safe now, Tatum." Sid rolled her eyes.
"Oh hush. I'm stopping at the video store, I'm thinking All the Right Movies with Tom Cruise. If you pause it at the right moment, you can see his penis." She laughed, and you swore you heard Sid chuckle a bit.
"Whatever, just hurry up." She smiled as they said their goodbyes and hung up.
A couple minutes later, the phone rang again. You grabbed it this time, expecting Tatum. "I'm not interested in Tom Cruise's penis, Tatum."
There was a pause, "" You swore it sound like they were trying not to laugh.
"Oh." You blushed furiously. "I am so sorry, I- who is this?"
"
"I dunno, Randy?" The voice was too deep, like he was using a modulator. "Your voice is sexy."
Sid made a face at you, but you waved your hand at her, dismissing it.
""
"What, are we playing 21 Questions? You tryna take me on a date, Meeks? Sheesh, it's between Seven and Silence of the Lambs."
""
Your face was burning red. "I, uh, whoah there, Meeks, ease up. Um, I dunno, uh... work? Randy are you in the back room touching yourself? Y'know they got cameras in there." You joked despite being so flustered.

"."
You knew it wasn't. You were still gonna have fun, though. "What, my front porch?" You mocked.
"."
"Ha-ha, maybe I will." You continued to mock. You could hear him clenching his jaw. Sidney looked up at you, mildly afraid and wildly confused. "Go upstairs, lock your door." You mouthed.
"" God, he was having so much fun with this.
"Quit being a pussy and let's see." You grinned, knowing he was already in the house.
The closet door burst open and Ghostface ran at you. You grabbed his arm with both hands, kicking a leg in front of his. He fell, and his knife cut your calf. You hissed at the burning pain, feeling the blood flow onto your jeans.
You dropped to your knees, one on each elbow, and you sat roughly on his chest. You heard some of his breath get knocked out of him, and you leaned forward so that more pressure was on his arms, taking his knife. "Sidney either already has or currently is contacting the police. Chase me up the stairs and leave."
You got up, still holding his knife. He sat there for a minute, looking up at you. "Come on!" You whispered, "And if you try to stab me again I'm kicking your ass down those stairs. Good luck getting away with a concussion." You handed him his knife after he got up.
You took a deep breath, "SIDNEY!" You screamed, running for the stairs. "Unlock the door!" You cried. It took a second before she did, and you ran in, Ghostface right behind you.
His arm swung in the door, cutting your outer forearm. "Fuck!" You cried, and you saw him freeze when he realized he'd hurt you. Blood trickled quickly down your arm, dripping onto the carpet.
Sidney returned to her computer where she was contacting 911. You looked back to the door and saw that he was gone.
Less than 10 minutes later the police arrived. Sidney ran downstairs and opened the door to see Dewey holding a Ghostface mask. She screamed, jumping back and causing Dewey to scream too.
Dewey apologized profusely for the mask once she calmed down. The two of you were taken to the ambulance where the police questioned you first, then Sidney.
"The phone rang and I thought it would be Tatum, but it wasn't. I thought it was one of my friends playing a prank, but I started to get really scared," Your voice broke as you began crying, "And I was worried that it might be the killer. I didn't know what to do but I sent Sid upstairs just in case it was, and-and then he jumped out at me!" You broke into heavy sobs and the police backed off a bit, talking to Sidney instead for a bit.
Once you thought you'd cried enough, you slowed it down. Dewey came back to you, "Y/n, did you see where he went? Who it was?"
"N...no, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..." You heaved a bit. The paramedics shooed them away. They bandaged your calf first, the cut wasn't terribly deep and wouldn't need stitches but it did bleed quite a bit.
They told you that your arm needed stitches, and took you to the hospital to have it done. Meanwhile, Sidney went to Tatum's. When you came out of the hospital, reporters swarmed you.
"How does it feel to have been attacked?!"
"What happened?!"
"Are you connected to Casey Becker?"
"Who attacked you!?"
You were dizzy from pain and all of the flashing lights made it worse. All of the microphones in your face made you want to kill someone.
Just when you worried you'd pass out, Billy and Stu came through. "Get outta the way! She's in no state to be interrogated!" Billy spat as he gently picked you up and pushed through the horde of press. He laid you in the backseat and drove you to Tatum's, all three of you returning to Sidney.
Sitting on the couch, Stu held you against him. Your arm was covered in bandage, the cut was 5 or 6 inches long but it was deep. He gently ran his fingers along the edges of the bandage, looking sad. He hummed quietly while he rubbed circles on your shoulders and back.
You were still dizzy, you felt sick and tired. Some was from the pain and some was from the stress. Now you knew how it felt to be on the other end of the blade.
Even when you could defend yourself, it was scary. The adrenaline in your system had long since disappeared, and you drifted in and out of sleep. You wondered if you'd fought Billy or Stu. Stu seemed stronger, like he could've fought you off more easily, but Billy's colder, like he would've really hurt you.
You weren't sure how they felt about you. Clearly they were both protective, and Stu definitely liked you, but Billy was a mystery.
That was your if factor.
Yes, whoever it was didn't try to stab you on the stairs, but you didn't know if that was affection or just the threat you'd made. You didn't think he stabbed your arm on purpose, maybe it was an accident. He also didn't immediately try to stab you when he first jumped out, he looked more like he was trying to grab you, possibly to knock you out.
Working the problem back and forth hurt your head, the painkillers made everything spin and you were slowly losing your grip on consciousness. The last thing you saw before blacking out was Stu looking down at you adoringly, brushing your hair out of your face.
You tried to mumble something but you didn't have the strength to form coherent words anymore, and Stu just laughed softly.
