(A/N): I'm really sorry if I get his personality wrong because he didn't exactly have a big role in the anime so please forgive me for anything that I may have gotten incorrect.
(Y/n)'s POV
The butterflies in my stomach wouldn't go away no matter how much I tried to calm myself down. The act of reuniting with a childhood friend was by no means a difficult task...but this was different.
Re:vale had just released a new album and were having a fanmeet today. I was lucky enough to be able to go but there a slight problem.
My heart had been encased in ice, frozen but still alive. I doubted he would remember me yet I still longed for a slight chance in which a flash of recognition would show in his eyes.
"Have fun, (Y/n)," mum exclaimed.
"Yeah, I will. Bye."
"See you later."
I headed outside and towards the building where their fanmeet would be held. I could feel my heart thumping hard in my chest, emblematic of the ever-growing worries that clouded my mind.
It was unlikely that he would remember someone like me now that he had reached a place far higher than I could ever climb. Despite this, I couldn't help but feel more nervous with every step.
The building soon came into view, making me slow down involuntarily. *gulp* I had to do this. I couldn't give up without even trying to meet him.
The line was incredibly long but it had to be worth it. No more hiding. I could do it...but how was I supposed to remain calm?! I loved Re:vale and I probably shouldn't let such a small matter distract me.
As the line grew shorter, my heartbeat grew faster. He wouldn't remember me...so why was I so nervous? Come on, just breathe...

"Hey," Yuki greeted while smiling.
"Hi."
While talking to him, I couldn't help but risk a glance at Momo. I quickly shook my head and looked back at Yuki, who simply laughed at my reaction. Eh? Did something happen?
"Um...?"
"Sorry, I just thought it was cute. Alright, I won't keep you for long. You like Momo, don't you?" he exclaimed.
"Ssshhh!"
"*laughs* Okay, okay. I'll keep quiet."
"Oh, I have a present for you. My parents own a confectionary so I got you some sweets."
"Really? Thank you."
Afterwards, I moved over to Momo. Despite my calm composure, I was in ruins on the inside. He greeted me with a cheerful grin before asking for my name. My voice came out quieter than I thought it would.
"(Y/n)."
"Ne (Y/n), what would you like me to write?" he asked happily.
"*laughs* Are you supposed to ask me that?"
"I guess not," he replied while laughing.
A feeling of nostalgia overcame me as I remembered how he was all those years ago. Nothing changed...he was exactly as I remembered him except...he showed no signs of recognition. We were just...strangers.
"Here you go."
"Thank you. Here, it's a present."
He took it and opened the envelope but I stopped him from reading the card.
"Later."
"Okay, sure. You're coming to Re:vale's next concert, right?"
"Hopefully, yes. I really want to go."
"Hope you can come. See you next time."
"Okay, bye."
I quickly walked away before anything happened. As soon as I had gotten outside, hot tears threatened to fall. Damn it! I was happy for him...I really was...but my heart ached so much.
It seemed like he loved his job so I couldn't be like this. My feelings meant nothing and they never would mean anything. I had to get over it, even if it meant forgetting everything.

Momo's POV
~A few minutes later~
(Y/n)...that girl had said her name was (Y/n). I couldn't get her out of my head no matter how much I tried to distract myself. She had been on my mind everyday for the past few years.
I couldn't stand it. My curiosity was killing me, forcing my stiff hands to open the card. I clung onto that one bit of hope that it really was the (Y/n) that I had known all those years ago.
Hey Momoko,
I'm not sure if you remember me but I guess that's okay. We were best friends at school...well, until you suddenly left. I tried looking for you but it was useless. That was when I saw you that had become an idol. You've achieved your dream! I'm so happy for you! Hope we meet again.
~Tamagoyaki (omelette)
(Y/n)! That was her! I immediately looked around the building but saw no sign of her. She would've left...how was I supposed to meet her now?...
"It was that girl, wasn't it?" asked Yuki.
"Yeah..."
"Look outside. I think she might still be there."
"Okay."
I ran to the revolving doors, willing them to move faster. As soon as I stepped outside, a blast of cold wind slammed into my body. Geez, was it always this cold outside?
Where was she? There were no familiar faces here...except for the girl that was walking around the corner. I quickly chased after, hoping desperately that it was her and no one else.
"(Y/n)!"
She turned around at the sound of my voice. I couldn't help but smile. That was her! Before she got a chance to speak up, I slammed my lips against hers, longing to tell her how much I loved her.
Her lips tasted sweet, like the candy at her parents' confectionary. I pulled away and wrapped my arms around her in a tight hug. There was no way I was ever going to let her go again.
"(Y/n)..."
"You remembered me..." she whispered, almost like saying a quiet prayer.
"Of course I did. I love you."
"*blush* E-eh?! Momo-"
"*grins cheekily* You look cute when you blush, just like before."
"Oh shut up."
"Okay, okay, tamagoyaki."
"You idiot."
"What? I like that nickname, dubbed after you failed to make omelettes for the hundredth time."
"Whatever. What about you, Momoko (peach child)?"
"S-shut up!"
"But it's nice to know that your stage name was named after your cute nickname."
"*blush* W-who said?"
She giggled. I moved her hair out of the way before kissing her again. I missed her so much...I swear I would never leave her again. I regretted it so much...
"Omg, Momo. Are you crying?"
"S-sorry, I'm just happy..."
I buried my face in her neck, refusing to look at her despite her telling me to do so.
"No, I don't wanna. I'm too embarrassed."
"*laughs* You're still so stubborn...but it's fine like this. I love you too...Momo."
