(Y/n)'s POV
"N-no, please! I didn't do it!"
"Instead of sprouting nonsense, why don't you use some of your time to reflect on your actions?" the guard exclaimed while shoving me in a cramped prison cell.
"I was framed!"
"Shut up."
I was left alone as he walked away without a care in the world. The pale walls seemed to stare back at me with unwanted pity and disgust. That's right...I didn't belong here.
As far as my parents knew, I was currently studying overseas in a famous university...not stuck in a cell, framed for murder. I had heard that this Nanba prison was the best in the world so my chances of escaping was nil.
As for how long I was to stay here, I wasn't sure. I was given no information whatsoever except for the fact that I was suddenly arrested with evidence that I had killed a young boy.
Tears brimmed my eyes but I angrily wiped them away. If I was to cry now, there would be absolutely no hope left for me in the future. I had to find a way to prove my innocence.
"Hey, isn't this cell supposed to be empty? I thought I saw someone inside," I heard someone say.
"Really? Let's go check then."
I huddled closer to the corner, afraid of who it might be. Surely the guards would have been informed of my imprisonment here. If so, who were they? Escapees? Visitors?
The barred door opened with a loud clank and in stepped four people. They spotted me and stood shock still at the entrance. I assumed that they were inmates that had escaped, judging by the dark-haired guy's striped uniform.
"Are you...an inmate here?" asked the guy with long blonde hair. I nodded.

"What did you do to be kept in such an isolated area?" the dark-haired boy exclaimed.
"I-I was framed for murder."
"M-murder?!" they all yelled.
"Sorry, that was probably too..."
"Don't worry. I'm Uno, that's Jyugo, Nico and Rock."
"I'm...(Y/n)."
"What the hell are you four doing way back here?!" we heard someone yell.
"Damn, he's caught up already. Let's go."
"(Y/n), come on," Jyugo said while pulling me along by my hand.
I stumbled on my feet before running alongside the four inmates. Footsteps behind us made me risk a glance back. An intimidating guard was indeed chasing after us.
My legs were somewhat aching from the lack of exercise I had done in my mediocre life. I should've at least ran around the neighbourhood but instead, spent my life cooped up in my room with technology.
"G-guys, I can't...keep up..."
Rock unexpectedly lifted me up onto his back. I gasped in surprise before holding on for my life. The bald guard was still running behind, although it seemed that he was catching up.
~Some time later~
"Hajime, we're sorry, okay?! So stop with the hitting already!" yelled Nico.
"Tch, you even had the nerve to bring her along with you," he exclaimed angrily.
"Hey, can she stay with us?"
"No."
"But-"
"No."
"Please-"
"No."
I giggled at their hopeless arguing. That was when another guard smacked Hajime's head, making him turn around in anger.
"The warden wants to talk to you."
"*sigh* Again?"
"Yeah, she looked pretty mad when I went to see her."
"Okay, fine. Look after these nutheads for me."
The other guard came into the room with two inmates. They looked at me with curiosity before shaking their heads, as if trying to convince themselves that I was only an illusion.

Uno suddenly put an arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to his body. *blush* I tried getting out of his grasp but it was no use. I was as good as trapped.
"She's my girlfriend," he announced.
"W-what are you talking about? I'm no one's girlfriend!"
"Stop acting so embarrassed."
"I think if she was actually your girlfriend, then she wouldn't be resisting so much," said the black-haired inmate.
"Yeah, Liang, we just met her," Rock replied.
"So? What's a girl doing in Nanba prison?" asked the short boy.
"Apparently she was framed for murder," Jyugo answered.
Without warning, I was pulled away from Uno by a good-looking man although he seemed like a womaniser. He smiled what appeared to be a smile practised in front of a mirror, something that I knew all too well.
"Hey, what's your name?"
"Ignore Honey. Come to me instead."
"Oi Trois! Honey! We found her first!" Uno argued.
"What are you two even doing here anyway?" Nico asked.
"We have a sixth sense you know," Honey replied as if it was obvious.
"Of course they do," Liang said while rolling his eyes.
As everyone continued to argue, I couldn't help but smile. My impression of prisons has changed to some extent. It had never occurred to me that such...carefree people would be carrying out their sentences here.
I had always envisioned prisoners as cruel, merciless bastards who knew nothing but committing endless crimes. These people may have once been like that but seeing them here like this, I found that hard to believe.
"All of you, shut up!" yelled the guard.
"Samon, don't mind them. They're just a bunch of idiots," Liang exclaimed.
"A bunch of idiots?" Rock asked, clearly annoyed.
Suddenly, a giant spider jumped out in front of me, making me scream my heart out. I ducked behind Liang, who picked the spider up by its leg and threw it out the window.
"Geez, your scream frightened me more than the spider," exclaimed Nico.
"S-sorry."
"You must be terrified of them to scream so loud that it hurt my ears," Rock added.
"Hehe."
"Well, it is strange for a girl who has a phobia of spiders to be able to kill a young boy," Samon commented.
"Can you help me get out of here?"
"I can't promise you anything but I'll try."
"*smirks* Seems like you have a crush on her," Uno said.
"*blush* S-shut up before I kill you."
"It's not everyday you get to see a girl in prison," Honey exclaimed.
"Hey (Y/n), stay here with us?" Uno said but it was as if he was asking a question.
"Um..."
"I got permission from the warden. She said to let you stay here until we find evidence to prove your innocence," Hajime exclaimed while appearing in the doorway.
Rock gave me a bone-crushing hug and grinned. The others all looked at me, making me feel like the centre of attention. I immediately blushed and looked at the ground.
"You look cute when you blush. We should tease you more, don't you think?"
