3rd person perspective
"So is my little wifey still angry," Abhimaan asked leaning towards Sameera who was seated on the chair.
She smirked looking at him, "That's for you to find out husband," saying that she pushed him back and stood up from the chair.
"Well, what are you doing in this empty office, trying dresses from your new collection," he asked, raising his eyebrows.
Sameera glared at him and he chuckled slowly and added," I won't mind a free treat for my eyes,"
"Pervert," Sameera said, smacking his biceps.
"I was talking about seeing you in new attire, what did you think?" He said as his lips formed into a smirk.
"Nothing," Sameera replied in monosyllables.
"Ok enough come with me," Abhimaan said, dragging her with him.
"I am not coming, you said my cooking skills are horrible," Sameera said as he sat back on the nearby couch.
"I didn't mean horrible, I ummm just….," He trailed off not knowing how to justify his actions.
Sameera gave him a heated glare and he asked her again," Come with me jaan,"
Sameera turned her face to the other side even when her heart melted listening to jaan from Abhimaan.
She was feeling bad for her husband right now but still, she was doing this to surprise him.
The next thing she knew was that her legs were in the air and she landed up in her husband's arms.
Abhimaan carried her on his shoulder while her eyes were wide as saucers.
"Abhimaan, what are you doing? Someone might see us, What will they think," Sameera said, looking around as they came out of her office.
He ignored her words and made her sit in the car and himself sat in the driving seat. Sameera gave him a heated glare and sat with a sad pout.
"If anyone would have seen us then they must be thinking that you got such a romantic husband and by the way fault was yours," Abhimaan said starting the car.

"How was it my fault, care to explain," She asked, folding her hands on her chest.
"I asked you twice to come with me, but you didn't, so I have to pull this stunt, I don't mind keeping my wife in my arms," Abhimaan said, smiling cheekily, making Sameera blush.
"You look cute when you blush," Abhimaan said, entwining their hands.
"You still don't miss any chance to flirt," She said looking outside the window.
"Well one must keep buttering to his wife," Abhimaan said, smirking.
"How mean Maan," Sameera said slowly, hitting his biceps.
"This mean creature loves you Meera," He said, kissing the back of her hands.
"Let's go for a coffee," Sameera said to him.
He smiled and moved his car towards their favourite cafe.
Spending time together at the cafe they moved towards the small Streets of Mumbai holding hands together.
It was 11:30 when they were returning to their home.
"Maan, you will teach me the recipe for Dal Makhani," Sameera asked him as looked at him with her pouty face.
"Yes Meera, I will and now stop pouting. We might land up in hospital if I lost control over our car," Abhimaan said, narrowing his eyes.
Sameera giggled and opened the window of the car enjoying the view.
They loved their small quality moments.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Parking his car they entered the home and the lights were off making Abhimaan confused. He tried holding Sameera's hand in the darkness but couldn't find her beside him.
"Three…...two…..one," He heard his family doing the count down and he smiled knowing the reason.
Unlike other men, he remembers his birthday.
"Happy Birthday to you…..," Everyone sang the song and the light went on.
He smiled looking at his family and the minimal decoration.
"Come now, cut the cake," His mother said, dragging him to the main table.
"Mom, they are cupcakes," Abhimaan said, chuckling.
Earning a glare from his mother he blew off the candle and made his parents eat them.
After that, he took another one and made her eat a small piece of cake. In return, Sameera smashed a little amount of cake oh his cheeks.
Enjoying their little celebration everyone was seated at the dining table and while eating they planned a small friends and business associates party.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Sameera and Abhimaan entered their room and Abhimaan wrapped his arms around her and they laid back on the bed after changing into their night-wear.
She kept her head on his chest and he secured her inside his warmth covering them with a blanket.
"Abhimaan," She called him slowly and he hummed in response.
"You know whenever I am with you I feel like I don't have to act all mature and perfect. You made me love my imperfections. Happy Birthday my love," She said, kissing his chest.
Abhimaan caressed her hair and kissed them slowly.
"Thank you jaan, but it's not you or me that made things easy. It's our efforts that made us both love each other with flaws, every time you bring my sanity back to me," Abhimaan said and she drifted into sleep embracing each other.
The morning came and Abhimaan woke up feeling a sweet kiss on his forehead. Smiling slowly, he made his wife turn around.
Soon after they were busy with morning pleasurable activities in each other's arms.
Kissing her forehead after their morning lovemaking, Abhimaan gathered her in his arms as they lazily lay on the bed.
"Where is my gift," He asked, running hands on her bare shoulder.
"You will get it after the party," Sameera said looking at me.
"I can't wait now, let's have a shower baby," Abhimaan said, picking her up as they made their way to the bathroom.
The day went on smoothly while Sameera took a day off from her work and looked after the arrangement of the party.
Rishika, her business partner, joined her in the evening and helped Sameera with the work.
They both became very close friends after they started working together.
Our birthday boy, Abhimaan was working from home as he was looking forward to a new collaboration as his company was nominated for the best designer companies. He was hoping to win the title.
Alongside, Sameera's brand "Shimmer' was nominated for the category of best-emerging fashion brands.
"Abhimaan you are not ready yet," Sameera said as she came out of the closet.
She was wearing a shimmering rust green body-hugging gown. She was looking beautiful as she patted herself with a beautiful small pendant.
Abhimaan came out of a trance as Sameera clicked her fingers in front of him.
He smiled and made her sit on his lap.
"Is it too late to cancel the party?" he asked, hiding his face in the crook of her neck.
"It is," saying this Sameera made him go inside the closet and go downstairs to check up on the guests.
Abhimaan descended the stairs in the rust green shirt tucked inside his black pants pairing it with a coat.
His business associates started wishing him one by one and he thanked them.
"Hey, Happy Birthday dude," He heard Arjun Jaisawal, one of close business friends.
"Thanks a lot, Arjun," Abhimaan thanked him politely.
"So how's married life treating you," Arjun asked Abhimaan while the latter smiled.
"It's going great, we are learning many new aspects of life," Abhimaan said, keeping his hands in his pants pocket.
"Great, I heard you both are nominated for the fashion awards this year," Arjun asked him.
"Oh yeah, both Sameera and I are there in different categories," Abhimaan said with a proud smile.
"Oh, I think soon your wife will cross you in business," Arjun said while the latter looked at him with a frown.
"What do you mean," Abhimaan asked, trying not to sound rude.
"I just mean that seeing your wife's business growing like this I am seeing that one day people will address you as her husband, not as the owner of a fashion designing company," Arjun said, shipping his cocktail.
While Abhimaan looked at him with an unreadable reaction.
