Lisa's POV:

I wake up the next morning with a crick in my neck. I tried to move but there was a head on mine. When I moved he shifted to the other end of the couch. I take a look at Carlisle. He is so handsome when he sleeps. Wait where did that come from? Was I still in love with him? I can't be. He just lost Ally. I get up off the couch and go to the bathroom. After that, I walk into the kitchen. I decided that I am going to make breakfast. I start on the bacon, eggs, and waffles. I was waiting for the bacon to cook. I was cooking it in the oven. It was easier. Everything was done the cooking. I put them on plates and set them at the bar that we had in the kitchen. I walked over the couch. I sat on the side where I woke up. I shake Carlisle up.

"Do you want to get up? I made food."

"Sure. I was going to get up anyway. I smelled food." He said sleepily. He stretched and yawned. "I just have to use the bathroom."

I sat on the couch and thought about it. I am almost 6 months pregnant. In 3 months I will have two little beings. I was in my third trimester. I realized that I had no idea what I was going to do. I have no idea how to take care of little people. Twins usually come early. How was I going to do this? I rubbed my belly. I don't know how long I sat there but Carlisle came up and sat by me. He looked at me with a concerned look.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yes. I am just worried. I don't know anything about being a mom." I said rubbing my stomach.

"You will be fine. You will have me. I might not know a lot either but we will do it together." He said turning and putting his hands on my stomach. "I am so excited to meet them." He kissed my stomach.

I smiled. "Me too. I am so excited."

"We better go eat. We do not want the food getting cold. I have to get ready for school. I will pick you up later for the doctor's appointment." He said helping me up.

We sat and ate our food. After we were done eating Carlisle got ready for school and left. I cleaned the kitchen, living room and started putting more things in the babies room. We have slowly been getting clothes for the babies. I also finished another class. I am almost done with school. I only had 2 more classes to finished. I will be graduated my March. I wanted to talk to Carlisle about maybe starting with some college classes next winter. I wanted to be a surgeon. That is a lot of schooling. I decided that I needed to get out of the house. I got dressed and grabbed my keys. I walked out to my car and got in. I started the car and went to the local Target. I remembered that I wanted to get some groceries. I drove to the store and parked my car. I got out and walked into the store. I grabbed a cart and there was this older lady staring at me. I was used to it. 18 and pregnant. At least nobody knew who the father is.

I first went to the baby section. I love looking for clothes. They were so little and adorable. I got some cute looking twin onesies and booties. After spending a little bit of time there, I walk over to the groceries. I want to make some fudge. Also needed to get stuff for dinners. Especially with Carlisle staying there. I turned the corner down the baking aisle, and I saw my mom. This is the first time that I have seen her since she kicked me out. I almost turned around and walk away but I don't think that she will talk to me anyways. But I could be wrong because as soon as she sees me she walks over to me. She looks at me. I can feel her studying me.

"Lisa. It is nice to see you."

"Hi, mom."

"How are you?"

"I'm good. You don't need to do this. I mean you kicked me out and said you wanted nothing to do with me or my children."

"I was upset. You will understand when.... wait did you say, children?"

"Yes. I am having twins. Now if you excuse me, I have to hurry up because I have a doctors appointment soon." I said walking forward and looking for the stuff for the fudge. I turn around to see her looking upset. "You still have my phone number. Call me and we can meet up and talk."

"Sounds good." She said giving me a small smile. She walks away.

I finished my shopping and drive home. When I get home I put away all the groceries. When I got done with that I saw that it was 2:30 and I needed to get ready for my doctor's appointment. Carlisle got to the house by 3. He came in and asked me if I was ready to go. I told him that I was and we went to the car.

"I saw my mother today." I said while we were on our way to the doctors.

"How did that go?"

"It went fine, I guess. It was weird to talk to her. I mean she was so nasty to me."

He took my hand. "You don't have to forgive her. She was very rude to you. You will always have my parents."

"What if I turn out like my mother?"

"Lisa, you will not turn out like your mother. Don't worry. These babies will be loved and no matter what they decided to do or whatever they want to be. You will never be your mother."

"Thank you, Carlisle. You are going to be a great dad." I smiled at him.

He smiles at me. We keep the small talk going until we get to the doctors. When we got to the doctors, I signed us in. I went and sat by where Carlisle was sleeping. I turn my head to see Matt and Jamie. Now I am not going to lie it hurt to see him with someone else but I am going to be okay. I give him a smile and turn to Carlisle who was telling me about his day. Also how Camille and Jake were going to come over for dinner today. After about 5 minutes of waiting, we were called into the back. I changed into my gown and the doctor came in and checked to make sure that everything was alright. After that, she told me that I was going to have to have more frequent appointments because twins come early. She asked me if I wanted to see the babies. We both told her yes. She showed us them and let us hear their heartbeats. She gave us each a photo and then she told me I could get dressed. I got dressed and then we gathered everything and went to the front desk to set up the next appointment.

Carlisle told me that we had to stop at his apartment to get the rest of his stuff. He had the movers bring everything to the house while we were at our appointment. Jake was going to be there to let them in and move things into the house. We stopped at the apartment and gathered anything else that was left. It was not much. Just a few boxes and anything that was in the fridge. We drove back to the house and Carlisle grabs the box. When I walk into the house I notice that It was really dark. I turn on the light and Camille and all of my other friends and family jump out. They had planned a surprise baby shower for me. Once I got over the surprise we played games and ate food. After all that we opened all the presents. We got tons of diapers, onesies, bottles, blankets, and pacifiers. We also got car seats, strollers, breast pump. We got everything that we needed plus more. After a few hours of visiting and everything everyone left. I was exhausted. I changed into my pajamas and said goodnight to Carlisle and went to bed. It was a good night. Tomorrow I will put all the stuff in the nursery. My last thoughts were about how wonderful that Carlisle was.

CARLISLE POV:

It was about an hour after the party, I had just finished putting everything in the nursery when I head Lisa screaming. I run to her room, which was right next to the nursery, to see her sitting up in bed and looking at the window. I run over to her.

"What's wrong?" I ask her bringing her in my arms.

"I woke up because I thought I heard something at the window and there was someone looking in," Lisa said in tears.

"Tomorrow I am going to get an alarm system. Also, you can sleep in my room tonight." I said helping her out of bed.

"Okay." She said walking with me to my room. I turn on the light and help her in my bed. I was just about to walk away when she grabbed my hand. "Will you stay with me?"

"Of course. Let me go make sure that everything is locked up." I said looking at her.

She nodded her head. I went to the front door and made sure that it was locked. I went to the back door and also made sure that it was locked. After that, I went into my room and grabbed a T-shirt and pajama pants. I went into the bathroom and changed. When I got back to my room Lisa was curled into a ball in the middle of the bed asleep. I smiled and I moved her over before slipping in the bed behind her. She moved closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her and set it on her hand that was over her stomach. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow. I was so tired. I dreamed about the little babies that were going to be here in a few months.
