So this is something that I have been thinking and praying about for a while now. A couple of weeks ago, I decided to leave my old ballet studio. You know, the one that I've gone to all my life and that has all my friends in it.

My reasoning is that I am ready for a challenge and a change. I have never really been to another studio and let me just say that trying out at other studios was weird.

I had to go to the next town over to find another good classical ballet studio. I tried out at two studios, studio D and studio S. (Fake names obviously).

I initially liked studio D before I took the class because it was smaller, less professional and had a mother and daughter teaching and running the program. Going and taking the class was very interesting. The lobby was kind of cheap but the studio itself was much nicer than my old one. The class was hard but not impossible and I liked the teacher. I remember leaving there feeling uncertain about what to do.

A couple of days later I went to studio S. Now, studio S is rather prestigious and a very large and a well know company in the area. The studio and lobby where really nice. I took the class and I have to admit, it was one of the hardest classes I had ever taken. During center, there was a combination that the teacher did not fully explain and some really sweet girls came over and went over it with me. Then after class, they introduced themselves and as I went out into the lobby, six more girls introduced themselves to me.

After a week of consideration, I decided on studio S because I feel like as a dancer I can really grow there.

Another interesting fact is that I will be going from six hours of ballet to eleven and a half. Yikes!! If you are a Christian, I would really appreciate your prayers this week.
