So, I have a five week private coaching that is two and a half hours long. As I chatted with some of my ballet friends, they told me that private coaching was typically done with three other girls. One problem, when I went to my coaching, I only had one other girl in the coaching. Of course, just my luck that instead of having two other girls in my coaching class, I only had one.

Coaching is stressful. My teacher, who I really respect and who gives me really good correction, is almost always watching me. It's a bit freaky.

We had a warm up barre and then Ms. M had me put on my pointe shoes while she had the other girl stretch.

You see, Ms. M had specific variations for each of the students signed up for private coaching. So she was going back and forth with the two of us and teaching us the variation and then had us write down the variation in our notebook. Also when we finished that, she had me practice my turns on pointe over and over shins. It was a tiring class and guess what? Six hours after that, I had another two hour class. The class may have been a private coaching class too because only four girls were there. But it was one of my favorite teachers who taught that class so that made things a little bit better.
