《Ballerina Boy》16

"Who's that?" I asked pointing to a boy with a baseball uniform on that I've never seen before as Ashton and I walked down the hallway of school.
Ashton.
Ashton and I got closer after he walked me home that night from Justin's party.
Ashton and I texted everyday for the rest of Thanksgiving break after that.
We are kinda getting to be close friends.
"Nick Grimshaw." he said answering my question that I asked.
"Who is he?" I asked.
"The captain of the baseball team."
"I thought that was Zayn Malik?"
"Oh no." Ashton said shaking his head. "Zayn's co-captain along with James when Nick is sick."
"Well I've never seen him before?"
"He's been in Orlando. He's grandma or something broke a hip so he needed to go help out. But he was here in October. Did you not notice him?"
"No, I guess not."
As we walked pass Nick, he gave me a glare and walked passed me.
"Well he's noticed you." Ashton laughed after Nick was gone.
"How?" I asked confused. "I've never talked to him in my life."
"I don't know man." Ashton said shrugging. "But I'm headed to fifth like you should be. I'll see ya later." he waved and then walked off to his class.
I sighed and entered my class that I have with Harry and Niall.
Niall was sitting there and looked up once I sat down.
"Asshole." Niall said scooting away from me.
"Niall how many times do I have to tell you I'm sorry." I huffed.
"A lot." Niall said turning to me.
"You had the car." I said.
"Yeah but you left Lottie and I worried sick when we couldn't find you. After about an hour of us worried sick that Ashton guy came in and said he just got back from walking you home."

"And like I've said before, I'm sorry. Lottie's over it now."
"She is?" Niall asked.
"Yes Niall." I nodded.
Niall huffed.
"Fine. I accept your apology."
"Thanks buddy." I smiled and slapped his back lightly.
Harry then came into the classroom and sat down in his seat that was next to me.
"Hey Harry." Niall greeted.
"Hey Niall." Harry answered. "Hi Louis." Harry then said to my surprise.
"Oh so you're talking to me?" I asked in a whisper to him.
"What?" he asked knitting his eyebrows together.
"You know?" I asked. "We got into a fight at the party."
"No we didn't." he said shaking his head. "You hung over or something?" he asked.
"Are you?" I asked back. "Because you slammed the door on me."
"I don't know what the hell you're talking about Louis." he said shaking his head.
"You don't remember?" I asked.
"No." he said shaking his head. "So can you stop talking this shit please. I'd like to get your answers from your homework."
I nodded and handed him my homework with knitted eyebrows.
Harry looked at me weird as he took my homework.
He then ignored it and started copying my answers down.
After class and after a long day that seemed to drag on forever, I changed, then I went to the dance studio to meet Coach Beast and wait for the players to arrive.
"Hey Coach." I smiled as I entered the studio.
"Hey kiddo. Was your break fun?" she asked.
"Totally." I lied. "Yours?"
"Boring as ever." she chuckled. "My parents are really out of it now that they are older."
"I'm sure it's okay." I smiled.

Just then the team nosily came into the dance studio.
"Hey team." I waved.
"Aye Tommo." I heard from all of them at once with a few hi's mixed in as well.
"So you guys ready to start the class?" I asked.
"Well we thought you could show us another dance today? You said you'd show us another one if we improved and we have." Connor spoke.
"Well." I said turning to Coach Beast. "Should I?" I asked.
Coach looked around the room and then nodded.
The team cheered and they all sat down in front of the mirror to give me space.
I thought for a moment on what I should do and then smiled.
"What?" Ashton asked me.
"What I'm going to perform isn't Ballet." I then spoke.
"But your Take Me to Church was amazing!" Micheal said.
"Well I want to show you guys that I can also do other styles too. Every dancer needs to learn more then just one type of dance."
"Well what are you doing?" Bradley asked me.
"It's like a freestyle modern type dance. My old school was putting this dance together for the winter show case but then I moved so I can't perform it but I do love the dance, so why not show it to you guys? We still have Ballet incorporated into the dance. But this can show you guys that I don't always have a stick up my butt. I'm versatile." I said and smiled when I spoke the last part.
They all laughed at the last part too.
"Well then here it goes." I spoke and then turned on the music.
I then headed to the middle of the dance floor to began the dance.

(Louis' performance)
When I got up I heard the team cheer.
"You're just good at everything." James said shaking his head.
"Thanks." I smiled as the team all got up and walked over to me.
"I think you should do a dance like that for Juilliard." Harry said speaking up once everyone was standing by me.
"But i'm going in for Ballet?" I said confused.
"Yeah but you can show them that you can do other things besides Ballet." he argued.
"But I need to audition with Take Me to Church."
"But you need to show versatility. Take a chance Louis."
"Harry I don't need you to tell me what to do. I'm the professional dancer here okay?"
I saw the boys looking between us with wide eyes.
"Well take my advise. Gemma auditioned for Julliard with a lyrical performance, did't take a chance, and didn't get in."
"That's because she's not good enough for Juilliard." I spoke and really wish that one wouldn't have slipped out of my mouth.
"Don't talk about Gemma like that!" Harry said and swung a fist at me but I dodged it luckily.
"Woe, break it up!" Coach Beast yelled over all the shouting of "fight, fight, fight!"
Coach beast stepped in and pushed Harry away from me.
"Practice is over everyone!" she yelled. "Everyone get out!" she said and then turned to Harry and I. "You two stay."
Everyone quickly left and then I was stuck all alone with Beast and Harry.

Void Breaker
Note: Sadly, this story is currently on hiatus :( Elizabeth Sayler had lost everything in the bombing of Reaver Stadium. Her career, her fame, her power — all of it vanished the moment she lost use of her legs. Now, she's beginning to lose hope of ever healing herself… until her world integrates into the Void. When the apocalypse comes in a flurry of System messages, everyone on earth is given a choice: give up what they value most in themselves, and acquire a path to their heart’s greatest desire. Most would hesitate, but for Liz? She has nothing to lose, and absolutely everything to gain. Armed with newfound powers in a world teeming with monsters, she’s determined to not only survive, but to somehow break the Void’s endless assault. * * * This is a small note about the portrayal of disability in this story. As much research as I do and as many people as I ask, I will in the end only be able to understand a small portion of paraplegia and similar disabilities. Therefore, if there is anything particularly disrespectful, please do not hesitate to contact me. I always intended to portray disability in a respectful way in this story, but please know that Liz as a character does not start out with a healthy view of disability. This is intentional, and a large part of her character development comes from this view changing as she learns. Disability is not something she simply "discards" at the beginning of the story, but an ongoing theme and a part of her journey.

How About Heresy?
Jeffrey's a guy who's most certainly a heretic but likes to believe he's not. Like we all do. Though, being a villain, there are many do gooders that'd like to exchange a strong word— or rather fisticuffs with him. Doing the deeds of villains, he places his own strange lens of justice over it, all the while, being an absolute fool. How will Jeffrey fare against the might of the good? —————————— "You tryin' ta shill me heresy?" "Ye- I mean yesn't," That's absurd why would I shill heresy? I'm not a heretic godsdamnit! In a realm of heretics and apostles alike, what to do? Well, I'm not sure of that myself. Though I have a feeling joining a cult may not be the best action... "No way. Are we being clapped by the power of friendship?" "Indeed we are," Shite. NOTE: - Don't expect an overpowered main character, nor a weak character. Strength isn't a plot point. - This is mainly a comedy, so it ain't as dark as you think it'd be despite the numerous mentions of cultists, heretics and murder... - There isn't going to be any face slapping scenes.
