"Eren, don't you recognize me?! It's Mikasa, your family." Mikasa spoke to Eren. I glanced down and saw Eren's grip tightened preparing for an attack.

"Mikasa, Dodge!" I shouted warningly. Mikasa dodged as Eren punched his face.

I look at the other elite soldiers as they began to say that Eren was like any other titan.

I tched and went up to the other elite soldiers.

"We'll modify the plan." Ian said who I just knew his name from Rico "Until we can recover Yeager, we'll protect him the titans. He holds valuable potential to mankind. We can't give up on him that easily."

I slashed another another titan who was getting close to Eren and the boulder.

"Mikasa!" I heard Armin shout "What's going on with the plan?"

"It failed." Mikasa answered as I landed beside her after killing another titan. "We can't just leave Eren, so everyone's fighting. But at this rate, the titans will overwhelm us in numbers"

'That's my 71st titan who I killed in my whole existence. Where do even titans come from?' I thought as I changed my blades and saw another titan who was chasing Connie.

"Tch. You'll be the 72nd" I ran and slashed the titan's nape precisely. I took Connie's arm and carried him to a roof.

"Thanks Y/N!" He spoke as I gave a thumbs equally saying your welcome and I immediately went up to Mikasa and Ian on a roof near the wall's hole.

My eyes heard a big thump of feet as I turned around and met Eren's titan who was carrying the boulder over his shoulder.

'That's my brother' I smirked.

"Y/N! Mikasa!" Armin shouted as I looked at him.

"Armin" I greeted him.

"Eren's in control. He's trying to fulfill his duty. Now if we can escort him to the gate, victory will be ours!" Armin exclaimed as my body felt excited from Armin's sentence.

"Defend him!" Ian suddenly ordered. "Even if we have to die in the process, protect Eren until he reaches the gate! Keep the titans away at all costs!"

"My pleasure" I whispered to myself and immediately went down the building.

"Yeager!" Ian tried to stop me but failed as I slice through titans going through Eren's way.

'73........ 74....... 74 then 77..' I counted the titans as I sliced through them from behind Eren.

I look at Armin and Mikasa who was running infront of Eren them I began to kill more from Eren's back to prevent any back stabbers.

'If Eren is gonna retrieve mankind's victory, then I would die anytime for it. Even if I would never know what's under the basement. Even if it's a risk for my life'

I hooked my wires to Eren and landed on his shoulder as I change my blades once more.

"Why hello, Eren. You did a good job for doing this. You really are my proud little brother." I said to him as I patted his large shoulder.

I look at the district.

A lot of people were getting eaten, some were running and others were injured.

'That dedicated their hearts for humanity' I thought as I did the salute.

"Go for it, Eren!" I heard Armin shout as that's the cue for me to fall off Eren gracefully down with my gear.

I look at Eren as he shouted and sealed the gate with the boulder with a smile on my face.

"For the first time, humanity has won a battle" I said to myself as I saw the blonde haired girl from before giving a smile.

'Huh?' I blinked as she went missing again.

I dusted myself and went up to Mikasa.

"Y/N! Are you okay?" Mikasa asked as I gave her nod signalling an ok.

"The remaining titans are coming!" Rico shouted. "Lets climb the wall!"

"We will once we recover Eren!" Mikasa spoke as we went up to Eren's titan body. "Armin, how's Eren doing?"

"He's practically burning up!" Armin struggled to pull Eren from the body but couldn't. "We have to hurry over the wall"

We both went up to Armin as Rico came as well.

"A part of his body won't separate. It won't cut off" Armin said still struggling to take Eren out of the flesh attached to the titan.

"We'll have to cut it" Rico said as Mikasa tried to stop her but Rico already sliced the flesh attached to Eren. Armin and Eren fell down to the ground.

It felt as if its slow motion as two titans showed up infront of us.

"Eren! Armin!" Mikasa shouted as I gather all of my energy and spark of electricity went up to me making me to run and slice a titan.

But once I sliced one, I was met by two pair of eyes that I once saw before.

'That's a pretty pair of eyes' I completely snap out of myself and went down to the ground.

I was face to face with the one and only Lance Corporal Levi as my eyes widened.

(DADDY- I mean Heichou :) hehehe)

'Damn. I stole a titan kill from the one and only humanity's strongest.' I chuckled to myself.

"Oi, you brats." Levi heichou said at Eren, Armin and Mikasa behind me. "What going on here?"

"A long story of humanity finally winning a battle over the titans" I answered casually and went up to the trio as Levi eyed me.

'I'll put number 1 on my top achievement is stealing a kill from the humanity's strongest' I smiled.

Eren woke up inside a jail with chains around him.

"Do you have any questions?"

Two men were across the jail bars.

'The head of the survey corps, Commander Erwin." Eren's eyes diverted to the next person beside the Commander. "And...Lance Corporal Levi' Eren thought.

"Um..... Where am I?" Eren questioned.

"As you can see, it's a dungeon. You're currently in the Military Police Brigade's custtody. We've only just received permission to see you." Commander Erwin said as he showed Eren the key.

"That key is....."

"Yes. It's yours. I'll return it later. Your home- Dr. Yeager's basement in Shiganshina is where the secrets of the titans lies and the so important memories of your older sister, Y/N that connects to the outside world. Am I right?"

"Yes, probably. That's what my father says" Eren answered.

"You and your older sister have amnesia, and your father is missing, huh? Sounds awfully convenient" Levi said in lawful sarcasm.

"Levi, I believe we've already concluded that he has no reason to lie. We're still very much in the dark, but I think what's best for us now is to question your intentions" Erwin said as he looked back at Eren.

"My intentions?" Eren asked.

"In order to investigate you and your sister's home, We must recapture Shiganshina District and Wall Maria. Drastic measures are necessary to quickly seal the gate. Your titan power will be crucial. It seems our fate is controlled by the titans after all. Wether it's the armour titan, or the collosal titan. They're likely to be the same as you." Commander Erwin explained. "Your intentions are the key here. The key on freeing mankind from despair."

"I...." Eren said as he began to space out.

"Oi, answer already, scum" Levi spoke. "What is it you want to do?"

"I want to join the survey corps and slaughter some titans!" Eren answered with a full determined face and an determined smile.

"Oh? Not bad." Levi said as he went up to the jail bars. "Erwin, I'll take responsibility for him and his older sister."

He grabbed the bars as he remembered Y/N Yeager who stole a kill from him.

"Tell that to the top brass. It's not that I trust him. If he betrays us or goes berserk, I'll kill him on the spot. I doubt anyone will object. There's no one better suited for this after all. As for your older sister, she'll be in my squad keeping an eye on you. I'll accept your enlistment in the survey corps." Levi explained as Eren was a bit scared of him at the moment.

"A trial for Eren?" I questioned as I sat down beside Armin with my plate of food.

"Why?" Mikasa asked.

"I'm not entirely sure but I think it's about their intention with him" Armin answered.

"What do you mean?" Mikasa asked as I knew the answer.

"About..." Armin lowered his head.

"Wether he lives or die" I answered as Mikasa stood up in shock.

My eyes darted to the door as a senior soldier was there.

"Y/N Yeager! Mikasa Ackerman! Armin Arlert!" The superior spoke out. "Are you here?"

"Sir!" I and Armin answered.

"You've been ordered as witnesses for the trial this afternoon." The superior said.

'Let's hope for the best'

I was in between Rico and Mikasa as I scanned the room and saw in our left was the Commander Erwin, the leader of the survey corps and Levi Heichou.

I then looked infront where the Military Police was placed with the Wall cults.

The doors open as it revealed Eren handcuffed with two people behind him.

He kneeled in the center of the room as a metal pole went through his handcuffs.

Eren looked around the place as his eyes landed to us.

'Don't worry Eren. We'll get through this.' I thought.

The sound of doors open and close were made as Dhalis Zachary sat on the high table.

'Dhalis Zachary, the premier of the three regiments'

"Now let us begin" Zachary said.

"Eren Yeager, correct?" He asked as he read a report with his reading glasses. "You are a soldier who has offered his life to mankind. Is that accurate?"

'Damn, the tension in this room is so thick that you can cut it with a knife' I thought.

"Yes" Eren answered.

"This is an unprecented case. This trial would be a special court martial in which common laws does not apply, with the final decision being left entirely for me" Zachary said as he looked up from the paper. "We shall also decide wether or not you'll live or die. Do you have any objections?"

"I don't" Eren answered.

"I'm glad you're quick on the uptake. I'll be blunt. As expected hiding you from public is impossible. Unless we declare your existence in a manner, we may be faced with threat other than the titans"

My head started to ache and winced as Mikasa took notice of this.

'Y/N, I'll protect you till the last of my breath' A young boy with blonde hair said as he hugged me.

Mikasa patted my shoulder as I snap back to reality

"Are you alright?" Mikasa asked as I nod.

'What was that? A memory? A lot of strange and unknown people keep on popping up' my thoughts disappeared when Zachary mentioned the Survey Corps and the Military Police Brigade.

"Let us begin with the Military Police Brigade's opening statement." Zachary said.

"Your honour, as Commander of the Military Police Brigade, I, Nile Dok propose: after conducting a thorough examination of Eren's body, we dispose him in a prompt manner" Nile spoke as he looked at Eren. "It cannot be denied that his titan power allowed us to repel the latest attack. However his existence is also a source of discord that can incite of rebellion. Therefore, after having him impart all the information he can provide, we'll have him die as a hero of mankind"

'That doesn't even make sense' I was getting grumpy as I fold my arms.

"There's no need for that! He's a vermin who the undermined the sacred walls by intruding our lands. You must kill him now!" A wall cult said.

'I think I have seen him around praising the walls or so. I have seen Eren since his birth. How could he even intrude the walls if he's born inside of the walls'

"Pastor Nick, quiet please" Nile spoke.

"Now, let us hear the Survey Corps' opening statement." Zachary spoke.

"Your honour, as the thirteenth commander of the Survey Corps, I , Erwin Smith propose: We of the Survey Corps will accept Eren as an official member and use his titan power to recapture Wall Maria. That is all" Commander Erwin spoke.

'Recapturing Wall Maria? It is a possibility but how do we seal a wall without carrying a heavy debris. His speech is as simple but possible. That's all he got to say?' I looked at the leader of the Survey Corps in confusion and wonder.

"Huh? Is that it" Zachary asked.

"Yes" Commander Erwin answered. "If we utilize his power, we can recapture Wall Maria. I believe it's clear to prioritized"

'I really want to question this smart man's decision'

"I see. On that note, where do you plan to begin such an operation?" Zachary asked as he turned to Commander Pixis. "Pixis, the gate at the Trost District has been completely sealed, no?"

"Yes, I'll doubt it'll ever be open again" Pixis answered.

"We intend to go through Karanese District in the east instead. From there we'll head to Shiganshina District. We'll plot out the route as we go." Commander Erwin said.

"Wait a second!" A random guy beside Nile, cut off Erwin. "Wouldn't it be best to seal all the gates for good ? The only parts of the wall the Collosal titan can destroy are the gates! If we seal them up, they won't be able to attack us anymore!"

People began to talk about their own opinions.

'Can all of these people just shut their ugly beaks?'

"You've got a big mouth, swine" Levi Heichou spoke. "Who's to say the titans will sit by and wait for the gates to be sealed? The 'we' you're talking about only refers to the friends you grow fat with, no?"

I covered my mouth from laughing.

'Maybe Levi heichou could be a good company'

"Are you saying you swine haven't notice the people suffering from hunger due to lack of land?" Levi Heichou asked.

"All we're saying is that we'll be safe if the gates are sealed-"

"Enough already, you boar!" Nile spoke at the man beside him as he explained about more wall cultful things that I don't bother to hear.

"Their beliefs are what cause the arming of the walls to take so long" Armin spoke.

"They have plenty of support and influence after all. A real handful." Rico spoke.

"In hell, would I join a wall cult" I randomly said as the three people who I was with, all nodded in agreement.

Zachary smacked the wooden table.

"Order in the court. You may argue about differences in principles elsewhere." Zachary said. "Yeager, allow me to confirm: can you continue to contribute to mankind as you have thus far and use your titan power to that end?"

"Yes I can!" Eren answered

"Really? But in the report for the battle of Trost, it said: 'After transforming into a titan, he swung it's fist at Mikasa Ackerman" Zachary read the report on his hands.

Just from the look of Eren's face, he doesn't remember it at all. I looked at Rico who was beside me asking for a explanation.

"What, you wanted me to lie at a report? Hiding that wouldn't benefit anyone at all" Rico defended

'Its true tho. Even if Rico did hide it, someone would definitely tell Zachary about it for witness.'

"Is Mikasa Ackerman here?" Zachary asked.

"Yes, that's me." Mikasa answered.

"You, huh?" Zachary asked " Is it true that Yeager attacked you after turning into a titan?"

"Answer it honestly, Mikasa. It's already been spoken in a report. Lying won't help" i whispered to her.

"Yes, it is" Mikasa answered murmurs began to spread as Eren's face spoke as if he's in belief. "However Eren has saved me twice while he was in his titan form, the first one was when I was fallen prey to a titan until he attacked them. The second one was when he shielded me, Y/N and Armin from a cannon. I'd like you to take these facts into consideration as well."

"Objection!" Nile spoke from across. "I believe her testimony contains too much bias to be considered. Mikasa Ackerman lost her parents at a young age and was taken by the Yeager family. Through our investigation, we have uncovered some shocking events during that time"

'There's no way that they knew about what happened. Did they perhaps work with the boss who we killed?' My eyes widened.

"At the age of 16, Y/N Yeager with Mikasa Ackerman and her younger brother, Eren Yeager, who was at the age of 9, stabbed to death three men who were wanted for robbery and kidnapping." Nile Dok read the report on his hands. "Though this falls under legitimate self defense, I feel their basic human nature needs to be questioned."

Nile Dok paused and glanced at me.

'So you think I'm a serial killer?' I eyed him.

"Should we really investigate mankind's fate, men and resources in him?" He continued. Everyone began to talk quietly to themselves about the statement.
