"I bet Eren's cleaning skills doesn't match mine's" I joked as I fixed her sweatshirt. "Right?"
"Hmm..." The Lance Corporal hummed.
The two of us went inside as we had already heard a lot of rambling.
"Pfft. We can't even leave them just for a second in a single house." I joked once again as we reached the rambling children in the room.
"Hi Historia" I greeted Historia who was holding some wood.
"What's all the commotion?" Levi asked. Eren look back at Levi with a scared look. My other friends were still bothered about the fact that Sasha is stealing another potato.
"Pfft, my brother is scared of the clean freak Levi Heichou" I snickered as I had received a glare from my brother.
Meanwhile, Levi had stroked underneath the table finding dust. My other friends had noticed what Levi was doing and had instantly shut their maws. I went up to him and saw his hand covered in dust.
"Ohh... Dust" I pointed out the dust on the Heichou's hand as Levi faced the younger people on our opposite side.
"I'm quite sure I gave you enough time" Levi spoke. I snickered behind the Lance Corporal. My friends look dumbfounded while Eren looked like he was done with everyone.
"Oh anyways... Eren" I spoke out my brother's name as I had caught his attention. "Hange precisely wants to start the experiment."
"R-right" Eren answered.

Eren's titan roared as he fainted on the ground. Me, Levi, Armin, Hange and Moblit we're on higher ground while Mikasa and Jean are on the lower.
"Thanks for covering ears, Levi." I thanked Levi as he took off his hands from my ears. He knew that I had incredible but sensitive hearing.
"What's wrong Eren!? Get up! The future of humanity is riding on you! Damnit, Get up!" Hange cried out.
'Poor Eren. He's been through a lot lately. A lot of anxiety and pressure is on him.' I thought getting worried for Eren.
"Hey, four eyes. He's not quite the same this time. He's not even 10 meters and some parts of his body don't have muscles. Plus Eren's ass is sticking out." Levi pointed out as I burst out of laughter.
"Damn... His ass is flatter to the bones." I snicker.
"I can see that! Eren?! Can you still move? Give us a signal or something!" Hange asked. Mikasa went to Eren worriedly.
"Hey... That gloomy brat is acting on her own again. Time to think up of a punishment." Levi said as I elbowed him.
'I decided not to help Eren since Mikasa is always by his side while I'm here with Levi. Besides... There's probably a time where Eren doesn't need my help nor protection since he'll grow up to take his route in life without me' I thought.
"No... There's no signal. We're done here!" Hange ordered as they went down with Moblit to Eren. "Eren!"
"Will there truly be a day when I have to walk down the road of life by myself without Eren nor Mikasa?" I accidentally let out and with that Levi looked at me questioning what I had said.
"It's nothing" I replied.
After a while. Successfully, they got Eren out of his titan body.
"Looks like we've got a long road ahead... Before we could use the titan hardening ability to seal the wall..." Levi looked back at Armin who was behind us.
"Yes... I knew we'd be grasping at straws from the start" Armin replied to the Lance Corporal.

"Though, it's not a bad strategy. Instead of lugging plenty of supplies, all we need is to get Eren there" I spoke.
"Whether or not we're grasping at straws... It all depends on Eren." Levi confessed.
'That sentence... It all depends on Eren... I feel... Bad for Eren just because of the power he held.' I thought as a frown formed on me.
It was decided... The experiment was done. Armin went away leaving me and Levi.
"You ride in the same wagon as Eren. We're headed to Trost District with Hange's group." Levi ordered Historia who had a raincoat to hide her identity.
"Okay," Historia answered as she went away.
'Why... Out of all the people you could force to come with you it's always me... Well, I'm not complaining though. I swear shortie loves to be with me.' I reckoned to hide a smile on my face.

'Trost District'
"I see... Another failure, then. If the plan would have worked out, we could have plugged the hole in Shiganshina District in less than a day." Erwin spoke out. I and Levi were here in Erwin's room. I was holding one of his books that was stacked on a table.
"We lack knowledge and information. If there's a book about the hardening ability it could lead to an easy road. However easy things in life don't pop out of anywhere." I replied taking out another book from the stack.
"But we have Krista. No, Historia Reiss. Maybe we learn about the wall from her?" Levi suggested.
"I read the entire report about her upbringing. She's the illegitimate daughter of lord Reiss, and it's by no means a happy story." Erwin informed. "But the real mystery here... Is why a mere regional lord would know the secrets of the walls."

"You're a real dick, Levi." I groaned. I was supposed to sleep but the Lance Corporal wanted me to get out of bed. "It's still early."
"Early? The sun is already going to set" Levi said. he opened the curtains as the sunlight loomed in my room making me hiss from the sudden radiation.
"It's been a while since I had slept a whole day. Fuck you" I hissed while I sat up from my bed becoming grumpy.
"I love you too" Levi unintentionally? said as my face grew ruddy in surprise and in belief.
"Wh-what?!" I stutter flustered and confused as the Lance Corporal looked at me with his iconic stone face.
'The audacity of this man. He didn't even realize what he had said to a woman.' I mentally screamed blushing.
"Hange and the others have arrived! Gather in the main room!" We heard Sasha's announcement. Levi quickly snatched a long-sleeved shirt from my drawer and threw it to me since I was wearing a tank top on.
Levi had left my room as I quickly put on the long-sleeved shirt on top of my tank top. After I had instantly fixed myself, I left my room and went to the main room.

"What did you just say?" I asked not believing the information that Hange had announced.
"He's dead... Pastor Nick. He was murdered. This morning, in the Trost District barracks...
We all sat down at the table with tea for each of us. Hange explained how she had seen Pastor Nick's skin on the first was split and theorized that the interior Military Police had tortured then killed him.
"I figured the church would want to deal with Nick since he was cooperating with the Scouts. That's why I hid his identity and had him stay in the barracks but... To think they would use soldiers to kill him." Hange let out as they looked down. "I was careless. It's entirely my fault"

'It was unexpected that the Military Police would kill Pastor Nick. But what for? Probably to not spat out more information about the walls to us. But what's so valuable about It that they won't even share to the public.' I guessed as I continued drinking the tea. I had noticed that Levi had the same stoic look.
"The Military Police... Did they torture Pastor Nick just to find out what information he spilt to us" Armin asked.
"Most likely. But it was the interior Military Police, which means there's something more behind it." Levi answered.
"Hmm... Hange." I ask as Hange gave me their attention. "How many nails are there left from Nick?"
"I only caught a glimpse of him, but all the nails I could see," Hange replied.
"People that talk, talk after one. Peeling more wouldn't make a difference. Pastor Nick... I thought he was an idiot but... He didn't turn away from what he believed till the end." Levi said.
"What a true cultist," I mumbled.
"In other words, they have no idea we've caught wind of the Reiss family. Though someone in the government is up to no good and their eyes are fixed to us." Levi added.
The door opened and closed showing Nifa, a Scout. that I met in a meeting. Despite that, I didn't get to know her personally but I have a feeling she's cool.
"Captain Levi. A message from Commander Erwin." Nifa came up to Levi and handed him a letter. "I want to tell him about Pastor Nick but he sent me off with this."
"Everyone out. We leave now. Leave no trace we were here." Levi ordered as he stood up making me stand up as well.
'I'm aware that shit is about to occur.' I guess as I did what shorty had ordered.

"Motherfuckers think they could get us that easily." I snicker as we watch the Military Police breaking into the house we wherein a few minutes ago.
We were on high ground far away from the house that was getting raided. All of us had our stuff in backpacks and we had long raincoats on with some of us had shotguns including me.
"That was close. If we haven't left right then, what would've happened to us?" Connie asked.
"But why? What would make Commander Erwin?..." Armin asked.
"New orders came from the government. There's been a freeze on all Scout Regiment activities outside the walls. They're telling us to hand over Eren and Historia." Levi informed.
'I'm not surprised that anyone wants Eren anymore. Since he's been abducted ever since he has shown his titan powers.' I thought.
"By the way, right after he gave me the message... the Military Police came for him." Nifa let out.
"That's treating him some sort of criminal!" Hange exclaimed.
"Someones not working from the shadows anymore. They're moving for all eyes to see" Levi said.
"To go that far to keep the secrets of the walls" Hange added. "What's more why do they want to hand over Eren and Historia? Not to kill by what to obtain?"
"Who knows? Anyways it's clear that the enemy is after these two. Loitering around here is dangerous. We're moving her and Eren to Trost District." Levi suggested.
"Why? That's the same place Pastor Nick was killed." Moblit exclaimed.
"It's worse to head to the interior. With Trost in panic, it should be easy to slide in." I explained.
"And if somehow it comes down to it, we have to use this in the city." Levi showed his gear under the raincoat. "Plus not knowing the enemy puts us in a tough spot. We need to find out who's behind this. Hange lend me some of your squad."
"Of course." Hange paused to think for a bit. "Alright, I'm going after Erwin. Moblit's with me, the rest of you go with Levi"
"Roger." Hange's squad replied. Before Hange could get on their horse, Eren gave them a letter that had the conversation between Berthold and Ymir.
"You're coming with me, Y/N. I'm telling you this in advance when there's a situation where we somehow have to split up." Levi said as I nod.
"Hiya!" And with that Hange had left with Moblit.

It was morning and we were in Trost District walking through casually trying not to stand out. I walked beside Mikasa as Levi was in front of us.
"Why is the royal family's flag hanging everywhere?" I heard Connie ask Sasha who was behind me and Mikasa.
"Oh! Today must be the king's coronation anniversary. Once a year they hand out a haul of rations." Sasha answered making Connie in awe.
We stopped at a crowd was on our left who was gathered because of a Military Police's announcement about the giving of rations as everyone was joyful.
"What a king! He sure is generous." Sasha confessed.
"He's got more than he knows what to do with. People are weak especially when baited with food." Levi said as I nod at his statement in agreement. We all started to walk away casually.
After a few minutes of walking and me singing in my head for random reasons. My ears picked up something from behind us.
"Watch out from behind us!" Levi exclaimed as I went to the side avoiding getting hit by the running wagon that took Armin who was dressed up as Historia and Jean who has dressed up as Eren again.
"Armi-" Sasha almost let out though she stopped. "I mean Krista and Eren! They got snatched right away again!"
I could not help myself but chuckle from the disaster.
'Good thing I didn't get to end up being Historia. The others suggested that I should disguise as Historia but the heichou declined so Armin is Historia. Thank God' I thought as we now race to follow the wagon that abducted my horse face looking brother and a smart boy- I mean girl that is my friend.

After zipping through town using our manoeuvre gear, we ended up in a warehouse on top of a roof.
Mikasa came back from checking Armin who was getting sexualized by a pervy idiot of a man.
"How's it going inside?" Levi asked.
"If we don't hurry they'll see through Armin's disguise. And I feel bad for him." Mikasa confessed as I agreed.
'When I meet that pervy idiot, I'll stab him more than the amount of money that was paid to make him do it.' I thought.
"I see," Levi answered.
"Oh... By the way, how's your leg doing? Has it healed a bit?" I asked. I bet it's not healed much since Levi had to save me from Reiner and Berthold.
"I can move well enough. It's not bad." Levi replied knowing that I was worried for him. "More importantly, these kidnappers... They're nothing but amateurs. Why would they use guys like this?"
'I do hope he gets better. Though his reply to my question isn't convincing that he fine.' I guessed as he stood up.
"You can handle the rest on your own. We're heading for Eren. Once you've felt the trash, come and head up to us." Levi said. it was my cue to stand up remembering what Levi had told me yesterday.
"Roger" Mikasa answered as we walked up to the edge of the roof.
"Be safe Mikasa" I said as the two of us zip away.

The wagon that carried the real Eren and Historia stopped due to a crowd blocking its way. We reached Nifa who wore the hood just like I and Levi.
"Captain? Y/N?" Nifa said knowing our presence beside her.
"Well?" Levi asked.
"The road is crowded but nothing usual. It's not much farther to Commander Pixis' Nifa answered. "How's the body double mission?"
"A success" Levi answered.
"And yet, you don't look happy" Nifa pointed out.
"No" Levi replied.
'Levi looks like he's telling something is odd. Though I feel it too. Something is wrong here and something is about to happen momentarily' I guessed getting alarmed already. 'The Military Police would be dumb enough to send such amateur kidnappers. So... Did we made a mistake?'
"Captain. Y/N. The wagon's almost moving" Nifa said as I became warier of my surroundings.
"Nifa, Y/N. Have you heard about Kenny the reaper?" Levi asked.
"The mass murderer in the capital? I heard that from when I was younger. That dude who slit over 100 throats of Military Police" I ask.
"That's just an urban legend years ago, right?" Nifa asked as well.
'Thanks to his face it looks like Levi knows something about Kenny the Reaper.' I guessed
"He is real and the stories are real," Levi said.
"Huh?" I and Nifa chanted.
"I lived with him for a while when I was a kid" Levi confessed as my eyes widened.
'So... Levi became the skilled soldier he is... By learning from Kenny the Reaper? Though it looks like Levi isn't joking.' I thought.
"What? Why would you even say that?" Nifa asked who didn't believe Levi? "This isn't the time to be making jokes."
"He looks like he isn't joking at all," I whispered.
'Levi telling us a part of his past is an achievement. I do hope I'll know him more in the future. I know that his mother died due to an unknown disease but I... Have a feeling there's more sadness that happened to his life than that.' I guessed.
"Gun from behind." A voice whispered to me as I looked behind us. It felt like slow motion as my eyes widened. It was the middle-aged man who has a hat and he's pointing his guns at us.
"Nifa!" Levi yelled. he grabbed my arm and drag me closer to him as we both duck our heads from the shot.
Though Nifa didn't react in time as she was shot in the head.
'That damn bastard' I cursed as we both hide for protection. My eyes widened as I watch Nifa's bloody corpse.
I felt Levi's hand slither up to mine locking it in place.
"Yo Levi. Did you grow any yet? That girl that you're holding. Is that your girl?" The man asked as I hear a metal clank.
'Fuck. I didn't take my shotgun with me' I mentally cursed. 'We're in a fucking tight situation.'
Suddenly I saw a ton of people in the air who was aiming a gun at us and then the man appeared in front of us also pointing guns at us.
"Oh? It doesn't look like you changed at all!" The man gave a smug smile.
I took my hand away from Levi and took out my blades. Levi did the same thing. I am ready to use my full ability that made me the top 1 soldier in the 104th.
"Kenny!" Levi yelled angrily as I was determined to kill people giving a menacing smile.
