It was late and the stars were already spread out across the night sky, when George returned to his lovely little cottage.
He'd been gone for months, traveling, gathering resources, having a look at the world.
He had also been trying to get Dream out of his mind, which turned out to be a harder task then he thought.
Since the blonde had been imprisoned, George hadn't been allowed to visit him.
He tried, week after week he stood in Front of Sam, practically begging him to see Dream.
But he was left in front of closed doors.
Being back home, so close, but still so far from his beloved made him feel sad.
He pushed open the door of his little house with a sigh.
George quickly got rid of his backpack, by carelessly throwing it into a corner.
He could unpack his stuff tomorrow.
Afterwards he noticed a note that had been left on his bed.
"Weird.", he mumbled, whilst walking towards it.
He took it from the sheets and started reading.
Hey Georgie,
I know this is probably dumb and dangerous for me and you, to just leave a note, but you weren't here when I got here and I still need you to know this.
I love you, I really do.
Even if you never visited me and never answered my letters, I can't help, but adore you.
I escaped from the prison tonight and I'll be hiding now, I hope it'll be safe enough someday, so we can see each other again.
I love you.
-Dream
(13.08.2022)
George nearly dropped the letter.
Completely frozen and confused he stood there, unsure of what to do with all that information.
His hands were shaking, when he realized that today was the 13.08.2022.
Dream had been here, he had barely missed him.
But that also meant he couldn't be far.
George ran outside, right into a forest near his cottage, as he knew Dream couldn't have left into the other directions, as they would've crossed paths.
"Dream!", he yelled, in the hopes that Dream for some miracle hadn't already passed the forest.
He couldn't stop calling for Dream, needing to see him, explaining that he hadn't been ignoring him, telling him he still loved him.
Now was one of those moments he wished, he'd told Dream more often that he loved him.
"Dre-", his yelling was interrupted by his own scream, cause in all his hysteria he hadn't seen the edge of a small cliff, which he was no falling down.
He felt a sharp pain in his left arm, then the pain of his collision with the forest floor.
Then his vision blurred.

He heard shuffling in the bushed near by, then loud cursing, his own name and footsteps.
And when he finally refocused, he met Dreams eyes.
Even though his whole body hurt, he tried to stand up and walk towards Dream, as he seem like he was miles away.
But he could barely stand up and as soon as he stood on his own two feet, his knees weaked and he fell.
But he didn't fall to the ground this time, he was caught by two strong arms, that held him close and safe.
George reached for Dreams scared face cupping it with his hands, he just needed to know that he was real.
He just couldn't believe his own eyes.
"You're as beautiful as ever.", Dream said quietly.
"Just shut up and kiss me you idiot.", George said, tears pricking in the corners of his eyes while he leaned forward to catch Dreams lips with his.
For just a second the time stopped.
It had been forever, since they'd kissed the last time.
Both of them were touch starved after months of being seperated and they never wanted this to end.
Dream carefully picked him up and pulled away from the kiss, to hide his face in the nape of George's neck.
"I missed you."
George ran his fingers through Dreams hair.
"I love you, don't ever dare to question that again you bloody idiot.", he mumbled, "I never got any of your letters and I wasn't allowed to visit, I missed you so much, I can't even describe how much."
Dreams grip grew tighter.
"I love you too, so much."
Suddenly George started to feel dizzy again, he pressed one hand against his head, trying to ignore it.
"Hey, are you okay?", Dream asked, concern in his tone.
George wanted to nod, but suddenly fell unconscious in the process.
The next time he woke up, he was in his bed, heard multiple people running around, talking.
He opened his eyes, made an displeased noise at the light that hit his face.
"George!", he heard Dream yell, his voice had something relieved, before he felt the blonde hugging him, "You scared the fucking shit out of me."
Suddenly the Blonde started shaking.
"I was so scared.", he sobbed, "Don't do that again, I beg you."
"I'm here Dream, everything will be okay darling.", George whispered, as he ran tired hands through Dreams hair.
Their moment was interrupted by Puffy.
"Dream, dear, can I have a look at George for a second?"
"Yeah, sure.", Dream said, as he let go of George to sit on the foot end of the bed, wiping his tears quickly.

"Hello George, would you mind to pull up your shirt a bit, so I can look at your wounds?", Puffy asked softly and soon George pulled up his shirt, seeing a bandage covering his lower rips.
Puffy took it off, examined the wounds, before she disinfected them and replaced the bandages.
"Don't move to much in the next weeks, it's nothing to serious, just a bit of blood, but no broken bones. You mainly suffered from a concussion, must have hit your head pretty hard when you fell down the cliff."
"Okay.", George replied, absolutely confused to what was happening.
When he lifted his head he saw even more people in his house.
Bad, Sam and Punz were around as well and suddenly it hit George.
Dream had turned himself in, so someone would help him.
He teared up.
Dream was willing to give up his freedom, just for him.
Puffy wished him a quick recovery and then left them alone.
Dream was quick to lay next to George again, wrapping his arms around him, holding his head softly.
"You turned yourself in?", George asked, voice already giving away how close he was to crying.
Dream nodded.
"I couldn't have left you and hope for the best, I needed to know that you're okay."
George closed his eyes, nuzzled into Dreams shirt, inhaling his scent.
"I love you.", he whispered.
"I love you too. I promise everything will be okay eventually.", Dream replied, before kissing his forehead.
George smiled a tired smile.
Dream used to kiss him on the forehead whenever he promised him something.
"I have to go soon.", Dream whispered.
George nodded, he couldn't say anything, because if he did, he would be a sobbing mess and that would make things harder on them when they had to say goodbye.
They laid there in silence, just holding onto each other, sharing loving kisses.
It seemed as if they wanted to memorize everything they could, all the loving gestures, every imperfection, every kiss.
And then Sam cleared his throat.
"Not to be that guy, but I'll have to take Dream back to the prison now."
"Can't he stay a little longer?", George asked, "Only until I'm well again. You can come here every day to check that he's still here."
"George that doesn't-" "Please, Sam. I promise you I won't do anything wrong, just give me this one chance."
"Dream how can I trust you?" "This is about George. That's why you can trust me, you know how many letters I wrote him, you know how much I care. I won't fuck this up. I promise."
Sam sighed.
"Fine. But only until he's well again, not a day longer and if you mess up, I will make sure you'll never get out of the prison ever again."
"Yes! That's fine, I won't disappoint. Thank you." "Thank you, Sam."
Both of them smiled brightly, before they shared a relieved kiss.
"Gross.", Punz commented, before leaving together with the others.
Puffy was the last one to go and before she stepped out, she said: "Dream, I'm not proud of what you did in the past, but this time you finally made the right decision and that's a great progress."
"Thank you, Mum.", he said, "I'm sorry, that I cause so much trouble."
"It's fine, dear. Now enjoy your time. Goodbye."
They said their goodbyes too and soon the door was closed.
"Guess you're a free man now.", George mumbled, "Do you think this free man can tell me what he wrote in his letters?"
Dream caressed Georges cheeks lovingly.
"I confessed my love to you every single day. I wrote down every detail that I remembered, all the wonderful times we had and all the memories that burned themselves into my brain. All your perfect imperfections. I wrote you a lot of bad poetry too."
George smiled, tears in his eyes, before he hugged Dream tightly.
"You didn't forget me.", he whispered, as if he didn't believe it himself.
"I couldn't forget you even if I tried, I wouldn't forgive myself if I did either.", Dream replied, "And the next days I'll shower you in love and affection, so you won't ever forget me either."
"I can't forget you either silly. I love you too much for that.", George said, kissing Dreams cheek right after.
"You never told me, that you loved me that often. Why do you do it now?"
"Because... I didn't say it enough before you went to prison. I didn't tell you enough how much I love you and when I read your note I finally realized that. Even thinking about you believing I didn't love you anymore... It made me so sad. Dream you're so loved, I love you so much."
Dream was crying, hadn't felt his heart being so full in months.
"I love you too", he sobbed, pulling George as close as he could without hurting him, "I'm so sorry I can't stay forever."
"Stop crying, I can't hold my tears back.", George mumbled, as the first tears slipped out, ran over his cheeks.
Dream chuckled through the tears.
"Thank you for making me feel loved."
"It's your own fault, that I love you.", George whispered, "And I'll never stop loving you darling."

That Scottish Play
This is a very silly and cringey parody of Shakespeare's Macbeth. The play format will be kept consistent throughout. Unless you enjoy cringing so hard you experience physical pain, I'd suggest avoiding this work. However, as the level of cringe is only slightly less than that of the office, any fans of that show may enjoy this work. (I believe, as a parody, this work is protected from copyright by fair use, additionally, Shakespeare is in the public domain so it doesn't fall under copyright in the first place. If I'm wrong please let me know)
