"Can you stop talking about Dream?", Karl asked, looking at his hands in shame, "Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy, but- you know what? Nevermind."
Sapnap looked at Karl surprised.
The older one looked sad and ashamed and it broke Sapnaps heart to see his favorite person like that.
"Of course, don't worry, I'll stop.", he quickly said, "I'm sorry."
"God, no don't be sorry!", Karl replied, "You didn't do anything wrong. You could never do anything wrong."
Sapnap kneeled down in Front of Karl and took both of his hands.
"You're upset and I caused that, so of course I can do things wrong. Talk to me, that's the matter."
"It's nothing important", Karl smiled at him, knowing fully well that Sapnap would see right through him, "Really."
"I think we both can tell that that was a lie", Sapnap replied and softly ran his thumbs over the back of Karls hands.
He saw how the older one looked back and forth between their hands and everywhere else but Nick.
"Does this make you uncomfortable? When I hold you hands?", Sapnap asked and quickly felt how Karl squeezed his hands, before he shook his head.
"No. I like this."
He looked up at Sapnap, squeezed his hands once again.
"I don't want you to be worried about me. I'm okay and I can deal with this by myself."
"But I don't want you to deal with it yourself", he raised his hand, to softly place it on Karls cheek. He felt the other, barely, nuzzling into the touch, "I don't want to upset you and I can only help you when you talk to me."
Karls heart was close to just jumping out of his chest, from happiness about how much Nick seemed to care, as well as nervousness.

"I really want to tell you, but I'm so scared.", he replied, looking down at his lap again.
Sapnaps expression faded to concern.
"Why are you scared?"
"Cause you could leave and I'm so afraid of loosing you."
When Karl meet his gaze, there were tears building up in his eyes, threatening to adorn his cheeks soon.
"You're my favorite person, I would never leave you.", Sapnap replied, "I promise."
He held his pinky up to Karl, made an attempt to give him an encouraging smile.
Karl completed the pinky promise.
"You can tell me everything. I'd stay even if you murdered someone.", Sapnap joked and smiled when he heard a chuckle from Karl.
"I think it's worse than murder", Karl then replied, "I fell in love with you and I love you so much, I can't even contain my jealousy when you talk about Dream and I'm so incredibly ashamed."
"Well, then I did something worse than murder too.", Sapnap replied, "Don't be ashamed of your jealousy, you don't even want to know who often I left calls with Quackity, just cause he bragged about what you guys did that day or what streams you had planned. I didn't even realize I could be such as horrible."
"You won't leave?", Karl asked, with a shy smile.
"Not in a million years."
