Dream was blushing.
Hesitating.
Should he take Georges hand?
Or was that not okay?
What would George think of him?
Would he like holding hands?
The fun fair around them was loud and colourful and Dream was sure no one would notice if he'd just take Georges hand.
Well, except for George.
And well, that was the problem.
And then Georges hand brushed up against his and his heart nearly exploded.
With wide eyes he starred at the ground, blushing, internally screaming.
"Dream, look!", George suddenly exclaimed, pointing at a teddy bear that hung in one of the game booths they passed, "It's blue!"
Dream looked at him fondly, while George walked towards the booth.
"I need that teddy, you don't understand", the brunette said and Dream smiled.
This was his opportunity.
"I'll win it for you", he said and his heart jumped when he saw Georges smile.
He asked the owner of the booth what he needed to do for the bear and he said: "Knock over that tower of cans over there, you have three tries."
Dream knew these games were rigged, but he wanted George to be happy and maybe he would hold his hand.
His first throw knocked over half of the tower, second one taking down another can, leaving two of them.
"Last one", the guy said, "You're having a good run" "You should be ready to hand over that bear", Dream said, confident in his abilities and knowing the perk of his height in a game like this.
He could exactly see where he needed to hit the bottom can, so they'd both fall over.
So he aimed, threw and hit the cans knocking them both off the board.
"You're the first one today, kid", the old man said, getting him the teddy bear.

"It was fun, thank you", Dream said, handing the teddy bear over to George, "Here you go"
"Thank you", George replied, looking at the bear happily. They continued their way over the fair and ended up at the ferris wheel.
"Two tickets please", Dream said and followed George into the queue and later into their capsule.
The sun was setting and Dream looked down at their hands, only inches away from each other, while George looked out the window.
He hesitated again, blushed at the thought and even more at his actions, when he slowly inched his way to Georges fingertips.
Curiously George looked at Dream, then at their fingers that barely touched.
He smiled shyly and moved his hand closer.
Dream could feel a tingling sensation where their fingers met and with new confidence he put his hand on top of Georges, gently.
"Is that okay?", he asked, meeting Georges soft gaze. George leaned closer, nodded, while blush painted his face a light pink.
Suddenly the wheel stopped.
The capsule swinging a bit back and forth with the small impact.
Just enough to make them get a little closer.
Dream could hear his own heartbeat, when he leaned in just close enough to make Georges breath hitch.
"Is- Is this okay too?", the blonde asked and George replied with a soft: "Yes"
Dreams free hand carefully touched Georges cheek, thumb running over the freckles on his skin.
"Are you gonna kiss me?", George asked, voice had already lost it's bite, "Or are you gonna stare at me all day?"
"I really wanna do both.", Dream confessed.
"Then kiss me first, cause I can't take the wait", the brunette whispered and only a few seconds later their lips met.
Soft and shy, Dream kissed him. Once, twice and eventually a third time.
"I like you a lot", Dream then whispered and George smiled with a blush still dusting his cheeks. "I figured."
He gently kissed Dream again. "I like you a lot too", he replied and Dream smiled.
"That's cool", he said and George giggled. "Yeah, it's pretty awesome"

Immovable Mage
What do you call a mage incapable of casting spells? In this story, we usually call him Terry. When the boy is accepted into Arcana Academy, his talent in the pillars of mana foundation awes everyone. All the bigger is the eventual disappointment when Terry turns out to be an utter failure at spellwork. Diagnosis? Major aspect impairment. No cure. Ever. Faced with expulsion, Terry is blessed with the unexpected kindness of others. Terry loses his spot in the Academy but in exchange, he finds a home with a family. Terry starts to train as a pure mana cultivator but never stops looking for his own path as a mage – day after day, season after season, always searching for compatible spellwork… Until finally, Terry’s perseverance earns him a single spell – the only spell he will ever be able to cast. Disclaimers: Chapter Frequency: I aim for one chapter a week. Chapter Length: I try to keep chapters between 3000 and 6000 words. Binge Preference: I plan for 30 chapters per arc. If you want to binge a complete arc, then that is the number to wait for. I will also add a line to chapters indicating the beginning and end of an arc. Advanced Access: I have created a patreon page with early access to four chapters for patrons. What to Expect: Progression fantasy with a western fantasy setting and with eastern fantasy elements. A main character that is forced to explore a very narrow path of magic due to a permanent condition. A main character that is a part of a larger cast. A main character that is growing but won't become the strongest around anytime soon. A story following a single main character but with introduction or theme setting scenes without the main character. What Not to Expect: Edgy grimdark characters – I will never write a sexual violence scene or gory descriptions of torture. I hate reading it and I would hate writing it even more. Romance – romantic relationships will never be the focus of the story and only appear in the background. The main character is preoccupied with other stuff. Other forms of relationships (family, friends, companions) play a bigger role. Cover: The cover art was commisioned from redditor Linh-Nguyen87. The font is alita brush by Inovatype Typefoundry. Overview: 001–030 Arc 1, Cultivating Perseverance: complete. 031–060 Arc 2, Undying Defiance: complete. 061–090 Arc 3, Unyielding Fury: scheduled for publishing. 091–120 Arc 4, Savage Hope: scheduled for publishing. 121–150 Arc 5, Self-Made Fate: first draft in progress. 151–180 Arc 6, Heretic Style: sketching in progress.
