"No! Don't- Don't let go", Sapnap said, as Karl tried to let go of him after a hug.

With a soft smile Karl pulled him in closer against his chest again. "Okay"

"Is this just cuddles, cause affection or cuddles, cause you need comforting?", Karl asked softly, ruffling Sapnaps hair gently.

"Both, I think", the brunette replied, head leaned against Karls chest, "I feel very alone, so I crave affection and it's comforting to get it from you"

"Why do you feel alone?", Karl asked and Sapnap shrugged. "You weren't here all day and I woke up very nervous and I don't know. Just feels good to be in your arms"

"Does it ease your anxiety?"

Sapnap nodded a little. "I feel very safe"

Karl smiled. "Good", he mumbled, kissed Sapnaps head, "Tell me next time when you wake up feeling like that, I'll cuddle all those negative emotions away"

Sapnap huffed with a smile. "Okay"

"I love you, you know?" "Yeah, I know. I love you too", Sapnap said, closing his eyes when Karl gently massaged the back of his head, "Love you so much"

Carefully Karl pulled him towards the sofa, laid down with him and for a while he just held him, rubbed his back and ran his fingers through the grown out hair, as Sapnap rested on his chest.

"You're never alone, okay love?"

Sapnap nodded. "Okay, darling"

A moment they fell quiet, until Sapnap added a quiet: "Thank you"
