《Working For My Bias || Hwang Hyunjin FF》T W E N T Y - T H R E E

When we got into the room, we greeted each other and had some small talk about random things. The dude infront of me was handsome and funny but, I could kinda tell he didn't like me. He liked the girl Wang Ja was talking to. And I also noticed that the girl Wang Ja was talking to liked the guy I was talking to. So urm... It was awkward.
He kept on looking to his side and she kept on looking to his side. So, what did I do? I asked Wang Ja to come outside with me for a while. When he didn't respond, I just pulled him out of there. This boy didn't even notice the view infront of him because he was too focused on the girl.
" He pulled his hands away from mine. I stated bluntly. He asked. He crossed his hands over his chest.
I held his hands and pulled him to the room, standing outside. I opened the door slightly, so that we could peek inside. I gave him a cocky look.
They were kissing each other. Wait no, they were eating each other's faces off. It was memorable sight to see. Memorable but not good. Made me almost vomit not gonna lie. I closed the door and pulled him outside again.
I smiled at him. He shrugged and gave me another smile.
I hooked my arms around his neck, bringing his head down towards me like in a headlock.
He gave me the coat he was wearing. He wanted to look presentable and formal for his 'blind date' so he dressed up in a nice button down shirt and jeans with a coat. This was the second time I've seen him wear this type of clothing. The first was during prom. It really looks good on him. He should definitely wear it more.

I put my arms out so he could link his with mine. And off we go, to our usual spot.
We were at the arcade. It was a worned down arcade that only had the old machines, rather than those new ones you'd see in malls. We loved to come here when we were in high school. Actually, almost every single day we came here. We used to play so much that the owner would kick us out. But of course she didn't, we were her best customers.
It still looked the same. And feeled the same. The old machines were still here and the owner was also still here. Ever since college started, we rarely ever came here. Usually when we had nothing to do or when we were having bad days, we would come. It was our kind of stress reliever.
---------------------------------------------------------
I took off his coat and gave it back. We spent nearly four hours at the arcade, solely playing games and eating that we forgot we had classes tomorrow. Once we realised that, He walked me back to the dorms. He let out a laugh.
I showed off the necklace and ring he gave me. I waved to him and he waved back. I stood there watching, until his figure was gone.
I waved at the boys who were watching TV. Minho asked. I let out an exhausted sigh. I spilled out. I went over to them and started spilling what happened. Their faces were in shock.
Jisung asked. I showed them the necklace. The boys started 'oo-ing' as if they middle school kids who saw someone doing a 'sick burn' on another kid. I rolled my eyes at them. they shouted in unison, causing me to cover my ears. Seungmin added teasingly.
I rolled my eyes at them once again before going to my room and shutting the door close. What's wrong with them? He doesn't like me and I don't like him. Does he like me? I mean, he is nicer to me than to other girls. But that's because I'm his best friend. And he always looks at me in a not-so-bestfriend type of way. Y'know what? Maybe I'm just taking this the wrong way. He only sees me as a friend. And I only see him as a friend. Nothing more than that.

Y/N woke up in the middle of the night. She was having a little headache and wasn't able to sleep in peace. She went to the kitchen to get a glass of water before going back to bed.
She shifted on her bed many times, trying to find the most comfy spot. before giving up and sitting up straight on her bed. She was frustrated that she could not go back to sleep and decided to just go to the rooftop. The rooftop where she could at least get rid of the headache she was having.
She got her jacket and wore her shoes, slowly closing the main door to make sure it wouldn't wake up the rest of them. Once she reached the rooftop, she opened the door and immediately felt the cold rush of air hitiing her body.
She closed her eyes and felt it all go through her body, calming her. When she opened her eyes again, she saw a figure sitting down on the edge of the building. Going closer to them, she saw who it was.

Primal Adaptation
The story of a little soul that ends up tangled in the games and bets of entities that utilize beasts of any primordial planet as a game avatar to make the Perfect Primal. This tale is not only its story because it will also share its destiny with the entity that will help it in its journey, and together they will rise from their particular situations one way or another. Primal Adaptation is a history with some RPG elements in it, but the MC can't look at a status screen or skill page because it's a beast through and through. I have implemented an evolution system for all the creatures of this story, where they grow or mutate depending on what they consume. In this tale, you won't find a Deus ex machina to give the protagonist power-ups. Everything must be learned and comprehended before its use unless it's something it gets immediately, or the abilities get understood by instinct. In essence, it is survival and gambit for opportunities, be it from one MC or the other.

Life is a game, with intrusive microtransactions.
Life is a simulation. There is nothing wrong with acknowledging we are just a part of someone's dream, lines of code existing to give purpose for some machine or anything, but why would this unknown entity add microtransactions in it? Maybe because that way it can wake up faster, by consuming parts of it's dream, until... well, who cares about an unknown entity that has nothing to do with this particular story?
