Colby grabbed my hand and led us all to the counter so we could pay for our tokens. "So Cora how do you meet our dear friends Sam and Colby?" Nate said as he walked next to me and Colby. "Sam's girlfriend Kat is my best friend, she introduced us." I smiled as Colby squeezed my hand. "I just can't believe little Colby got a girlfriend." He said and nudged Colby, "you act like I'm so bad" he chuckled out. "Nah, you've just been single for a while brother." He said as the line in front of us slowly went down.

We got our tokens and made our way to the games, "how's your leg?" Colby mumbled and kissed the side of my head. "It's fine. You don't have to stick with me you know? You can hang out with your friends." He chuckled, "you're insane. I want to be around you baby, come on, let's go play." He pulled me along, meeting Sam at one of the crane games. "Sup brothers!" He said and patted us both on the back, then turned back to the game he was playing. Nate and Alex came up and watched him, as my phone buzzed in my pocket. "Hey I'll be right back, Devyn's calling me." I said and kissed Colby on the cheek quickly, then walked to a quiet part of the room, "hey dev, what's up?" I said and heard her sniffle on the other end, "Cora.." she whimpered, "Dev? What happened?!" I said and walked outside, "I'm sorry..I know you're in Kansas but...but Kat is at work and Tara is on a photo shoot and I...Cora." She sobbed out, "hey! It's okay what happened?" She paused for a second, sniffling, "Corey and I broke up." She finally said causing my heart to clench, "oh babe.." I breathed out and sat on the curb. "We fought...and...and he said we needed this to end.." I clutched my chest with my hand, "I'm so sorry Dev. Call Java, tell Kat it's a family emergency. They have to let her leave. She has a spare key to my apartment, you can stay there until I get back. It's gonna be okay, I'm so sorry I can't be there." She sniffled on the other end as I felt someone sit next to me on the curb, I looked over to see Colby giving me concerned eyes. I smiled slightly, "No no don't feel bad babe...Thank you for everything. I'm going to call Kat..I hope you're having fun I'm sorry for calling and ruining your trip." She cried softly, "Devyn no. You didn't ruin anything, you know I'm always here for you..please call me if Kat doesn't answer or if she can't leave for some reason. Make yourself at home, I'll be back in a couple days. Please call if you need me." I said and leaned into Colby. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, "thank you Cora...thank you so much. I love you. I'll talk to you later." She said then hung up, "is she okay?" Colby mumbled as I breathed out a sigh, "she and Corey broke up."

Colby gasped out slightly, "oh shit..." I nodded, "I know...I'm having her stay at my place, to get some distance from Corey. They apparently fought." He nodded, "I should probably call Corey." He mumbled as I leaned my head in his shoulder. "My heart hurts for them." I admitted causing him to sigh, "I know, they will get through this though..." I nodded as we sat in silence for a minute.

Colby ended up calling Corey and talking to him for a little bit. He had told Colby that he wanted to remain friends with her and that he still loves her but the relationship just isn't working out anymore. I appreciated the fact that they were being so mature about all of this and didn't want any bad blood to come from this. They were going to get through this and we would all be there for them.

"Come on let's go back inside." Colby said and got up, reaching for my hand. We met the boys back inside and Colby pulled Sam aside, as Nate and Alex came up to me. "You guys okay?" Nate asked and put his hand on my shoulder as Sam and Colby walked away from us, "yeah, just a couple of our friends broke up..everything is fine." They both smiled at me sympathetically, they could probably tell this was effecting me, "alright, well you haven't gotten to play any games yet, why don't we go find one while they talk." Alex said and gestured over to the boys who were now in a full conversation. I nodded and walked off with Nate and Alex.

"Cora what's your sign?" Nate said as we walked up to a crane game that had stuffed sloths in it. "I'm a Scorpio." I said with a smile as I concentrated on the game. "Hmm I vibe with Scorpios, we are gonna be good friends I think." I smiled at him, "I hope so, you guys are super cool, and plus I need to get some dirt on when Sam and Colby were younger." Alex laughed, "you have no idea how awkward they were, it's like totally different now, especially Colby. That's why we tease him about never having a girlfriend. It's becauee he was so damn awkward in high school it's amazing that he could even talk to you, let alone date you." That was crazy to me, because they were so confident now, Colby had so much confidence at the beginning of our relationship.

"Tell me more." I said and pushed the button on the game I was playing, watching the claw drop. "We used to go to this old warehouse all the time, it's been abandoned for years so we would go almost every weekend and explore it." I laughed as the claw clasped onto one of the stuffed animals and lifted it up. "Yeah, we went there." I said and sighed out, "wait what? They brought you to the warehouse?" I nodded, "yep. Got a battle scar also." I said and patted my thigh, which caused pain to shoot up my leg, "oh shit! I can't believe those idiots brought you there!" Alex said and laughed as Sam and Colby made their was way over to us. "Yeah, it was pretty intense." I said as a pair of arms wrapped around my shoulders.

"What was intense?" Sam asked as I bent down to grab my prize. "The warehouse." I said and shrugged, then turned around to see Colby, his arms were still around me. "Yeah dudes, we almost died last night." Sam said as Colby looked at me with a concerned glare, "what?" I whispered as Sam started to explain what happened last night, "is your leg okay?" He murmured softly, "yeah, why?" I said and looked down at it, I didn't realize that was leaning solely on my other leg until now. "You just aren't putting any pressure on it, I don't know I guess I'm just worried." He said and looked down, "You're so sweet..it hurts a little but I'll let you know when I can't handle it, okay?" He nodded but looked hesitant. "Look what I won." I said and scrunched my nose, holding up the stuffed sloth, "wow, you're so talented." He laughed out and grabbed it from my hands. "Colby, be my partner in air hockey." Sam said as Colby handed me the stuffed animal.
