ok so here i go
i love writing
don't get me wrong
but it's so hard for me to try and write something that isn't cliche
also
i feel like it's been awhile since i tried writing something that wasn't marvel fan fiction
alsoooo
i have about 12 drafts that i haven't published bc i really want my writing to be good
i want people to enjoy my stories
but i feel like no matter what they won't ever be good
and even if they were, i feel like no one would read them
ok i'm done

What she was not okay with was the Future, an enigmatic woman nearly fanatical in her devotion to making a difference, dragging her along — seemingly, to prove her wrong. It turns out though that the Future is very hard to understand. This story contains heavy themes, including mental illness, existential crisis and death. However, I still tried to eventually convey a message of hope. Several mythical and metaphorical beings in the shape of humans will appear in most chapters. However, they are not meant to be of a specific ethnicity or social background and are instead perceived differently by people around them. For your reading pleasure, feel free to imagine them any way you’d like, even if your imagination contradicts descriptions from the story. Enjoy!~

In New York City, cultivation studies are taken very seriously and cultivators are plentiful. The city is the biggest hub of chi research in the United States. It also holds the most cultivation schools of any city in the country. The same goes for its "Jungle Schools". The students of these unique cultivation schools, commonly known as "Warriors", are encouraged by the state to engage in battles with students from other Jungle Schools until only one school sits at the top. For them the laws of the state take a backseat the laws of the concrete jungle. This is the bizarre version of New York City Isaac Moon has found himself trapped in. Equipped with some strange interface he barely understands, Isaac tries to find his way back to his own reality one fight at a time. Hopefully, he can make it back before his 'old habits' get the best of him again.
