"oh, Zion!" i heard through the door, it was my best friend since 6th grade, Natalia Pearl Roberts.

i got weirdly suspicious, i knew this was my best friend, though. she wouldn't have sex with my boyfriend... right?

i quickly opened the door, which they stupid left unlocked.

to see her on top of him, broken bottles of alcohol all over the carpeted floor. once she saw me, she gasped and then Zion saw me and he leaped off of her and hid himself under the covers, as did Natalia.

i felt like throwing up. Caleb Zion Kuwonu. my loving companion of a whole year, cheating on me with my best friend.

i felt tears burning, glossing over my eyes before they spilt and Zion watched a tear slide down my cheek, me frozen right there. he never liked to see me cry.

that's when he realized what he had done and he hopped out of the bed, swiftly threw on pants, and ran over to me. i backed up as he neared me.

"Lorin, i—" "shut. the. fuck. up." i spat and threw my purse at his face and ran out the door, sobbing as i ran until i bumped into Brandon.

"oh my gosh! Lorin, what's wrong?" he asks and wraps me in his arms, then he sees a flustered Zion peek out the door window with a half-naked Natalia and he knew and tightened his grip around the sobbing girl.

"come on, Lorin." he said as he grabbed my hand and we started running down the hall and Zion chased after us. but, we beat him to the elevator.

once, we got inside, i dropped to the floor and started crying, heaving after each salty tear left my tear ducts.

i woke up i a snap, panting and sweating intensely from the flashback nightmare i had just experienced.
