Caroline's POV

I wake up and see Klaus sitting beside me on the bed. I smile at him and he smiles back. I am so happy to be able to see him and be in New Orleans instead of dealing with Silas. I know I sound selfish, but Silas gets in my head way too easily so I figure just leave.

Klaus says, "You know, when I was first turned, I killed thirteen people."

I say, "Your parents made you into that person it isn't your fault, they didn't even give you a choice."

"If I could go back and do it all again I would try and stop them from making me this monster."

"You are not a monster Klaus. Yes you have done a lot of bad things, but what vampire hasn't?"

He shakes his head and says, "You don't get it do you? We are all monsters who deserve to die, we aren't supposed to exist, but we do. Caroline this isn't right we need to stop ourselves before we hurt more innocent people."

I say, "You don't mean that."

"Yes I do with everything I have."

Before I realize it I take my hand and reach it into his stomach. I see Klaus change to Bonnie and I cry "NO!"

I take my hand out and feed her some of my blood to heal her. I say, "Bonnie I am so sorry, I thought you were Klaus and he was saying all these things about how we're monsters and..."

"Caroline.", I look up and see Klaus standing in the doorway.

"What could possibly be so important right now Klaus?"

"Well love,", he starts while slowly walking forward, "I just thought that you would like to know that we found a hunter who just needs to kill a vampire then you are good to go."

Kol's POV

"What's your name sweetheart?", I ask the girl sitting beside me. She is medium height with brown hair and blue eyes.

"I'm Alex."

I say, "Well Alex do you know about vampires?"

She shakes her head quickly.

I say, "Come with me, I need you to kill one for me."

"Why do I have to kill a vampire?", she asks.

I say, "Oh come one, I know you really want to."

She says, "Ya, for some reason I have this feeling to now that I know about vampires."

I grab her and flash to the house and she asks, "You're a vampire?"

I say, "Yes and one that is very hard to kill, so don't try sweetheart."

Klaus turned some random tourist for her to kill. He walks in dragging the girl behind him and says, "Let's get this over with before Caroline kills herself."

Alex asks, "Why do you need me to kill this vampire exactly?"

I sigh and say, "A friend of ours accidentally killed a special vampire hunter, like you will be soon, and the only way to stop her from hallucinating to kill herself so bad is for you to kill a vampire."

She says, "No way am I killing this innocent vampire just so another one gets to live." With that, she turns on her heal and walks out of the house leaving Klaus and me gawking at her.
