I put the phone down and grab onto Cici, I'm sure I would have turned is she hadn't put her hands on my chest. I feel my body shaking with pure anger as I think about what just happened.
"I'm sorry Ash" she whispers to me.
"It's not your fault my Luna, I understand more now about what's going on here. He's angry that you have Maya and the power that comes with her. Not only that but he's scared because you've found your mate which means Maya and Victor are together and as the legend goes that means we are unstoppable." I blurt out still shaking.
Darius's mouth drops open... "you have Maya and Victor as wolves??" He practically screeches. Cici looks confused as she looks from him to me.
"I don't understand, why are they so important?" She questions me looking into my eyes with her emerald eyes... looking right into my soul.
I sigh "I wasn't sure when the right time would be to tell you the stories, it was obvious you didn't know them when you didn't ask me about Victor when you found Maya." I calm down and take a seat and she straddles me still staring deep into my eyes. "The legend goes that there are two wolves... king and queen of all others.... they're called Maya and Victor... they've been mates since the beginning. After every lifetime they live a few centuries pass before they become part of a new person and search for each other. They only come out sooner then that when there is a risk to the wolves on earth... a risk of them destroying themselves. It's their duty as king and queen to bring peace back to the world and live out their days together." I explain.

She looks at me "so we are bonded with the king and queen of wolves?!" She says in a quiet voice. The shock of what I'm telling her evident in her voice.
"That's why I was shocked when Victor told me you were my mate because I knew he was mated for eternity to Maya and I couldn't sense your wolf at all. That makes sense now though because of what your father tried to do."I clench my jaw and fists at the idea.
"So when my wolf came to me early that was because you had received your wolf and you're older then me?" She asks, eyes full of wonder.
