Glittering silver slipped from the universe behind dans eyes. It's not that he knew that the boy with the pale pale snow skin and the black black night hair liked him, or rather, loved him the way he described. For , if he did, maybe dan could have stopped the boy from doing what he did. And the boy was right, after dan read the note it was too late. Because after dan read the perfectly written words phil had poured out onto the paper, phil was gone.

To say that phil was gone because of dan was not true.

Phil had too much going on.

Broke down everyday, he didn't have any one.

Poor boy's mother and father died in a car accident when he was 14. He had no friends.

But he liked dan.

And he knew dan cared for each and everyone.

So phil wrote the note for dan because he felt as if he was the only one he could tell it to anyways.

But , alas, phil is gone.

And so is Dan's happiness, and a big part of the world.

Because if he would have stayed , he would have realized everything he wanted would happen because it was the world finally giving back to him.

But he's not here.

Because he didn't hold on.

And dan wants to be gone too.

But he can't.

Because if phil is gone dan doesn't want to be gone too.

If Phil made such a big impact when he was gone.

Dan doesn't want his sorrow to go to more people as well.

So he stays.
