The next few days I wander around the pack house, trying to cover all of the house. I wanted to learn what it was like around here before I become the official Luna.
I don't want to ask people where the kitchens are if I'm Luna.
"Perri!" I hear a voice say. I quickly turn around and smile.
"Hey Belle, what's up?" I ask as I turn around, to find her smiling.
I swear, her smile's are contagious.
"Mark says that he needs to see you." she says, and then lets her smile drop.
"They're planning to attack us." she said seriously, before smiling again and grabbing my hand and pulling me to the room that I think is Mark's office.
He has his own office.
Cool.
I let Belle pull me, but before we reach there, she stops me.
"What would happen if some dude said I was his mate?" she asked casually. MATE!!!
"Did that happen?" I ask. I didn't really tell her about the mate thing yet.
"Yes" she replies, before looking at my expression and smiling reassuringly. "We'll talk about it later." she said, and shooed me off into the room.
I saw Mark sitting on a chair, behind a desk.
Yep, his office.
"They're coming in 2 weeks." he said in a strong voice. I looked down. I would have to fight in this war, even if I hadn't found my immortal powers.
I had 2 weeks to find them.
"I'll try harder." I said, looking him in the eye.
"No. You and Annabelle along with other humans that live in the pack will stay in the safe house." He replied nonchalantly.
"I'm not human." I said, my eyes becoming dark. I still didn't know how I did that.

"I know." he replied, before looking up at my state.
"Look, I don't want you in danger. If you have complete control of your powers by then, you can fight." he said in a soothing voice.
I was going to have to find my power then.
I'm scared.
Mark stood up and walked towards me. He wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead.
"It'll be alright" he whispered to my neck, before letting me go to walk out of the door.
I turned back around. "Belle's found her mate." I replied, and with that I walked out of the door.
"Belle!" I shouted, and she came from the corner. She held a guilty grin.
That little spy.
"I need to talk to you about that boy..."
