《The Prince is a Yandere》| 49 : Eternity |

The fated day has arrived, and before I knew it I was already at the extravagant and meticulously decorated banquet hall of the house Echium, seated behind the piano playing a few songs before the main event.
It didn't feel like her marriage would happen this soon, time flies. Everything happens so fast I don't even want to think about it. I don't recall the amount of times I had this exact lament.
Being a noble myself, I was familiar with just about everyone in the area. Those from the castle, and those from house Echium. It's best to avoid looking too hard though or I might spot that certain Holovatskyi.
"Lady Astor, the bride is coming." I heard a voice whisper indicating it's time for me to play the song I wrote just for the wedding.
This. Is going to be a challenge. Because I'm not going to just be pressing keys on the piano, but I'm going to sing. I wouldn't say my voice is terrible, I'd say it's on the 'good but not sensational' side.
One deep, deep breath.
Bound to a fate
Which I believe was not so terrible,
I was glad to be tied to you
The emissary of truth knows
That I do not lie
Taking these steps forward
Into a bountiful future
Casted away were past doubts
Noble and not ill spirited
Towards each other
The rush and calm, duality of a simple breeze
Is our undying devotion
Is our vow
Strong like trees under storms,
And will yield but joy through it all
Let your love be subtle,
Yet present for all eternity
For all eternity
It felt like I wanted to cry too when I saw her dressed like that, walking down with a bashful look on her face. Aunt Aline was crying out loud, that just made it harder to hold back tears.

When the thin white veil that covered her face was lifted, she looked up at Dante with a smile on her face. Part of me is worried she'd laugh... As blasphemous as it'd be to laugh on your wedding, knowing Adria it's all the more likely to occur.
In the midst of the vows being recited Adria's expression only grows soft, far from the lady who took up a gun and cussed at a person who took her best friend a captive. Good times...
But will she still be with us at the castle now that she's married? I kept pushing that thought away. Not even that. I didn't even want to consider it.
Luca is gone, Adria is going to be with Dante...
My cheeks feel wet. Tears dripping beyond my control, hitting the keys of the piano. Don't think about it too much.
I don't want to, but I can't help it. I'd choke on my tears, try to suppress the sobs.
I wonder if she feels the same too. She'll miss us, definitely. When I look back at the couple once again, there she is looking at me with a tear stained cheek and still smiling. There is reassurance in her eyes.
"You may now kis-"
"Stoop!" She speaks abruptly and sends the crowd into shock. So am I. She's stopping her wedding?!
"I would just like to take this moment to thank my bestfriend Riselle. The song, you wrote it just for my wedding right? It was beautiful."
"Adria... I'm glad." I feel sheepish to speak when all the attention has gathered towards me and her. I feel everyone's gaze as if they weren't even an inch away.
"I love you, my dearest Riselle. So as to Kace, the prince, and even Luca despite the lack of his presence. And you of course mom. Just like in Riselle's song, my love will be subtle towards you all, but it will last for eternity.

But today, I'm going to leave the nest to be with Dante. I'll come back to the castle every now and then! I'll even bring my little child once they're born. Thank you though. For everything, all of you."
"Aww!" The crowd was visibly in awe, and plenty even started crying as well. And so do I, feel even more bittersweet. Before my tears can even form I glance towards Lucia, who already had puffy eyes and was blowing into a tissue-
Suddenly I no longer have the urge to cry. Oh forget her, it's not a day to let her mere presence get on my nerves.
Turning my attention back towards what I was supposed to be paying attention to, Adria and Dante kiss, and part after a few moments.
Cheers filled the banquet hall, families of both sides giving each other a pat on the back. Congratulating each other...
"Ehem, it's time for the bouquet!" Adria announces, she looks quite excited. The usual her. Her emerald eyes darting to me, along with a grimace. "Riselle you better catch this! Catch this or I'll feel reaaally sad! You hear me?! I'll make sure you regret it if you don't catch it!"
"Well- ok ok fine I guess." But you know what they say, the one to catch the bouquet is the next to get married. Yeah totally. Not.
There were murmers in the crowds before the ladies all got together to catch the bouquet. It makes me feel a bit hesitant to try catching it but I don't want to upset the pregnant bride.
Without even counting, Adria throws the bouquet into the air and I watch to see where it is going to land and run to catch it. Upon it's safe landing into my arms, I look around and see all the ladies have ran away from the bouquet... As if this was planned.
Or they just didn't want to upset Adria? That's probably the case. But still that doesn't make this fair play!
"Ehem." I feel a finger poke at my shoulder.
I heard forms of squeeling all around me before I even turned my back to see who is getting my attention. Suddenly my body is stiff.
Reluctantly turning around, there he was, he took my hand and on the other hand he held a ring.
"You will marry me." He says.
"Isn't it supposed to be will you marry me?" I can barely speak with how fast my heart was racing. Too fast.
"You will marry me." He repeated. "Because I won't accept you being with anyone else."
