"You don't know how frustrating it is to hear people say things that aren't true, and you can't do anything about it." Lydia, Alex's sister says.

"It must've been so hard, I might not know you but I'm glad you're awake." I said smiling at Lydia.

"I might as well

know you Alex talks about you all the time, he really loves you ya'know?"

She grins a dimply smile similar to her brother's. "I know, I really love him too."

I smile looking over at Alex who is already staring at me.

After the whole day with Lydia, Alex took me home but stayed with me, we we're now at my front door and I'm going to let him meet my mom.

"What if she doesn't like me, What-" I cut him off with a peck on the lips it still managed to make me feel like I was on an adrenaline rush.

"Enough with the what ifs, Alex, my mom will love you, your amazing and I love you, for you and so will my dear mommy."

I say smiling, and he grins at me.

"I knew there was a reason why I love you. " I smack him on the shoulder rolling my eyes while still smiling.

"Time to meet my mother." I smile looking over at Alex.

"Oh my gosh do you want to see some baby pictures of Rebecca?"

I groan looking at my Mom grinning at Alex he looks over at me, and smirks while I flip him the bird. "No, mom please don't embarrass me."

I plead looking over at my Mom.

"Oh, honey what mom would I be of I didn't embarrass you?"

I smile sarcastically,

"A great one." She rolls her eyes nevertheless smiling while showing Alex a picture of me with ice cream all over myself.

I groan getting up to get a drink of water, I can't stand to be there while they talk about how adorable I look.

I decide to call Carmen because I feel like I haven't spoken to her in ages. I dial her number and she picks up on the first ring.

"Hey! What you up to girl?" She yells and I cover my ears.

"About to die of embarrassment, Mom is showing Alex baby pics."

I groan and I hear her laugh.

"That's funny." She laughs and I glare at the phone.

"Yep, sure is." I say, sarcasm dripping from the sentence.

"No need to get snippy, just so you know there's got to be a photo of you in the bathtub."

She says my eyes widen as I hear my mom say, "Look at her cute butt." I hang up on Carmen then, text her to meet me at the mall tomorrow so we can catch up.

I sneak upstairs to my room and pick up a copy of 'The Hunger Games' so I can reread it, a while later when I get to the part when Katniss volunteers as tribute for her sister Prim, a knock is at my door followed by my boyfriend Alex,

"Your mom's something special, she's cooking dinner, and insisted I check on you to see you didn't die of embarrassment." I roll my eyes nevertheless, smiling he comes over and hugs me.

I embrace him back circling my arms around his waist, breathing in his intoxicating smell.

"You had a cute little butt as a kid." He mumbles into my hair.

"Way to ruin a moment, I don't know why I love you." I say hugging him tighter.

"I ask myself the same thing every day, sweetheart."
