I walked slowly, in the deep woods, an eerie feeling in me, I ignored it.

I felt someone was watching me. It was dark, very dark but I could still make out dark figures that represent trees, or so I hope.

The feeling that someone was watching me grew, and I walked faster, where to? I have not a clue.

I stopped walking when I came upon a clearing. There were rocks forming a circle, I walked till I was in the middle of it and looked around me, I knew someone was watching me, following me and I grew scared, my heart rate sped up, and I felt a layer of sweat on my skin.

''Rebecca...''

I knew that voice somewhere, I just don't know where. I glanced at my surroundings and tried to slow my heart rate.

''Becky..''

I tensed, only two people in my life have ever called me that, my mom and my, my dad the voice was definitely not a women's so that only leaves one option.

''Dad?'' I felt tears running down my face, I felt like a little kid again, Why did he leave? Were we not good enough? There's so many questions, and yet I'm not sure if they can be answered.

''I never loved you.''

''You were so, despicable.''

''I was only nice for your mom's sake.''

''But when I knew she was going to die, I left.''

''You Rebecca, are worthless.''

''I don't know what that boy Alex sees in you-''

Blow after blow after blow. My heart, it hurts.

It was because of me he left, he never loved me as a daughter. He only stayed because of my mom's sake, he figured she would die, and then left, why?

''Ashton was so much better then you.''

''He wasn't a disappointment.''

''You-''

''Stop!'' I yell, I was tired of this, he was right I am worthless.

I couldn't hold myself together I broke down and cried, he surrounded me I could hear him everywhere, he was everywhere.

''Bec, love! Wake up! Dear God wake up!'' My father shouted.

No that can't be right, I gasped and opened my tear filled eyes to meet Alex's frantic ones.

He held me while I cried, it was a dream no, nightmare; but why did it feel so real?

''Shh, it's ok love, I got you nobody will hurt you baby, I love you.''

I held onto Alex tighter and cried, I don't know how long it was but he held me.

''Do you want to tell me what happened?'' He asked.

I kept quiet for a long moment.

''It was my fault.'' I whispered realization dawning on me.

''Love, what was your fault?'' I held my breath.

"M-my dad, when he left us, it was my fault.'' Alex stroked my hair.

''Baby, it's not your fault he left.''

''But it is! In my dream, God Alex it felt so real, he told me he never loved me, that I was a disappointment, he only stayed for my mom's sake, and when he figured she'd die, he left.''

Alex kissed my forehead.

''It's not your fault dream or not, he's an asshole, for leaving and I bet, No, I know he's missing out on the good on life without you guys, the only thing I'm thankful for of him is being a sperm donor, so you could be here now.''

I chuckled through my tears.

''I love you Alex, I love you so much. I'm sorry I'm so mean to you."

He kissed my nose.

''I love you baby, and I like it when you're mean to me. It's amusing, not to mention hot.''

I laugh, then smack his head.

''Ahh there's her beautiful smile again.'' I close my eyes and sigh, I don't deserve him, he's too good for me, too good to me.

''I love you.'' I say again,smiling then kissing his lips. His awesome pink lips, he smiles through the kiss, and I can feel the love he has for me.

I knew he assured me, that it wasn't my fault that my dad left, for now I'd focus on the good things in life. Wm

When he pulls away, he grins showing his cute dimples, I pinch his cheek. ''Ow!'' He pouts.

I peck his lip. ''Stop being such a baby.''

''I'm your baby though.''

''That you are.''
