"What the fuck is so important that you have to wake me up so early, George?" I ask, muffled by the pillow
"First off, it's literally 1pm. Second off, you have a promise that you have yet to fulfill" George says, closing my door
I lift my head from my pillow in confusion
"A promise?"
"Remember the ride home when everyone left last time? You promised me that you'd confess to him next time you saw him, Willow. And as of my knowledge, you haven't done so. Unless..?" He explains, leaning against my door
I sigh "You know I want to George. I just don't really know..how?"
"He likes you. You know it, I know, literally everyone knows it. Now's the time to do it!"
"I know, I know. I'm just waiting for the right moment, y'know?" I say, sitting up in my bed
"But what decides when something's the right moment?" He questions more
"I don't know! Maybe when we're alone and the time feels right I guess? You gotta realize the only other partners I've ever had was my boyfriend in grade 5 and my girlfriend in 7th"
"So what do we have to do? Evacuate the whole house and not come back until you two have kissed for fucks sake?"
I sigh again "I'm gonna do it George. Wether it's some romantic ass thing that I've set up or if it's when he's leaving for the airport, I'm gonna do it. Just give me some time, and maybe a little advice?"
"I'll help you out. Just know that time goes by quickly. If something seems right, do it no matter what. Now, what do you need help on?"
"A lot of things."
Jaxon POV
"Come in!" I say, hearing a knock on my door
"Hey Ranboo" Sapnap says, entering my room and closing the door
"Hey Sapnap, what's up?" I ask, setting my phone down to listen
"I've got something to talk to you about" He sits on the chair near the bed I was sitting in
"Okayyy? Is something wrong?" I question
"Yeah, you." He responds
"Me? Did I do something? I am very confused"
"Everyone, and I mean fucking everyone, knows you've got a big fat crush on Willow" He smirks
"Oh for christ's sake.." I mumble
"So when the fuck are you gonna tell them??"
"I don't kno-" I start before getting cut off
"Don't give me that 'I don't know' bullshit. What's your plan?"
"Bold of you to assume I've planned anything"
"Oh come on, you can't tell me you haven't fantasized about moment happening whatsoever. I was your age once, y'know"
"You're acting like you were my age like a decade ago. It was only 2 years, Sapnap"
"Well in my book you're not an adult yet. You're a hopeless romantic in love with my best friend's sister and I'm here to help you guys FINALLY fucking confess"
"OK WOAH LOVE IS A STRONG WORD, BUDDY" I say, blush evident on my face
"That's besides the point, how are you gonna confess to her, memory boy?" He leans forward in his chair
"Well I guess I've had a few ideas.."

A picnic
That's what George and Sapnap decided on all of them doing
A simple thing, but maybe it would mean a little bit more to Jaxon and Willow
Or maybe not
Only time will tell ;)
Willow POV
It was a beautiful flower field, and I couldn't help but be reminded of the picnic we went on when everyone else was here. That was the same day I did my big lore. Which reminds me that my next lore stream was gonna be soon..
But lets not focus on work, it's picnic time!!
"I haven't eaten all day, I'm starving" I say as we lay a blanket down and sit down
"They we're still sleeping when I went go see them at like 1pm" George says
"We're you gonna sleep the whole day??" Jaxon laughs
"In my defense, I didn't realize it was so late. I thought it was like 8pm"
"Ok asshats, shut up and eat. I spent like an hour preparing lunch" Clay said
"Dream, it's 4pm. I'm pretty sure this is a dinner if anything" Sapnap says
"I deserve my credits for the cookies! Homemade by yours truly" I say with a smile
"I don't think they're considered homemade if you stuck them in the oven for like 20 minutes" Jaxon says, grabbing a sandwich
"Let me have my moment, bitch" I respond, also grabbing a sandwich
Silence overcomes as as we all begin eating
"Y'know what would make this 10x better? Music" I say, grabbing my phone and playing me and Jaxon's share playlist
Riptide by Vance Joy plays, seemingly fitting for the moment
We all bob our heads as a small dance and sing some of the songs
Soon enough, all of the food is devoured, only leaving the crumbs. We all just kinda sat and talked with the music playing softly in the background.
We played a game of for shits and giggles and time passed faster than we expected it to. The sun was beginning to set, giving the sky swarms of warm colors.
"I think we should get some ice cream, yeah?" George says
"Ooooo cool! I'll come with" I say, about to stand up
"Nonono, I think Dream, Sap, and I can handle it. You and Ranboo stay here and...chat..or something"
I blush at his implication and before I can say something else, the dream team was off towards the ice cream stand.
"That was...very awkward" Jaxon says beside me
"Amen" I laugh slightly
"So..we only have 3 more days" He tries to make conversation as we watch the sun set slowly
"I know, time goes by pretty quickly. Especially with the people you care most about"
"I feel bad that you have to go to school"
"Eugh, I know. Only one more year. At least next month is my birthday" I respond
"Finally gonna be an adult? But yet you still look like you're 15" He says with a smirk, shaking his head
"I may look like I'm 15, but I will rock your shit like a middle aged body builder" I joke back
"Oh yeah, I'm so scared to feel like a squirrel is attacking my ankles" We make eye contact
"I've been bitten by a squirrel once, hurt like shit. You should be scared of me"

Who knew that the colors of the sunset would look so good on him..
"You've got pretty eyes" He says, breaking our short lived silence
I'm taken aback by the sudden compliment, but I wouldn't let him get to me that easy
"And you've got a pretty face" I smirk
Said face turns red at my compliment, and I take that as an absolute win
"Nice neck idiot" I giggle
"Shut the fuck up"
"Oooooo those are fightin words"
Our faces were close, and I was smirking
Was this the moment George talked about?
Should I take this chance..?
"HEY WILLOW, YOU LIKE STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM, RIGHT? THEY DON'T HAVE YOUR FAVORITE" Clay yells at me
Welp, chance lost
"YEAH THAT'S FINE"
"They didn't even ask me what flavor I wanted" Jaxon laughs
"HA loser" I joke
*Time skip brought to you by bald gnf*
We were back on the beach. We had decided to come here to end off the day for some stargazing, one of my favorite things to do. We were here for god knows how long, but quite honestly, who cares? Yolo, amirite?
"I'm pretty sure it's supposed to rain" Sapnap says out of the blue
"Okay? Then leave? Rain on the beach is super cool" Clay says
"Uhm, I don't know Clay. Maybe we should all leave so we don't get cold and wet" George says sternly
"Well, y'all do whatever you want, I'm stayin here" I say, looking back up at the stars
"If Wil is staying, I'm stayin" Jaxon says beside me, causing me to smile
"Sounds good to me! Lets go guys" Sapnap says
And before we knew it, they were gone. I'm guessing they just walked back home, it's only a 15 minute walk anyways.
So it was just us.
Alone.
Staring at the stars.
The music blasting through my phone next to us.
It was a beautiful moment, I couldn't ask for anything more. The crashing of the waves that entrapped my hearing was soon replaced by the sudden rain droplets. Sapnap was right. Neither of us seem to give much mind to it, too infatuated with the tranquility of the moment.
Per the usual, I get an idea. I quickly stand up from the towel below us.
I grab Jaxon's hand, pulling him up to his feet with me
He chuckles "What're you doing?"
"What does it look like I'm doing? Dance with me!" I say in a goofy mood
We dance for a while just living life and having fun. No matter what happened, could ruin this night.
And nothing could ruin us
Just as the moon was made for the waves, we were made for each other. Wether that be platonic or romantic, I quite honestly didn't care. As long as he's with me, I'll be content.
It starts to rain harder but we don't seem to care and just dance in the rain. All that mattered right now was each other.
Jaxon POV
Wow
They're truly amazing
Just everything about her makes me ineffably happy
The moment reminds of something. Something that Willow said one night on a late phone call.
And now something I'd never forget.
*flashback*
"This is probably my daydreaming talking but, I would want someone to kiss me at like 3am, while it's raining, directly at this part of the song" Willow's exhausted voice said through the late night discord call

"Honestly, that sounds amazing" I responded, equally tired
"Yeah, it's really just a random thought but I've always wanted it to happen to me, not that it ever would but maybe.." Willow pondered
*end of flashback*
3rd Person POV
"Can I put on a song?" Jaxon suggests as the last song comes to an end
He was feeling bold
And he was going to use this sudden bravery to his advantage
Willow hands him the phone, excited to see his choice
"Sure! nothing trash though" She laughs
"Trust me, it's not"
Jaxon puts on the song and it starts to play. Willow notices the familiar tune, it being one of her favorite Arctic Monkey songs. And also one of their favorite songs to daydream to..
"Good choice, Jax!" They exclaim
Exactly 2:00 minutes into the song.
Exactly when Jaxon started getting closer to Willow.
Exactly when Willow began to realize that this wouldn't be any ordinary night.
What is he doing..?
..Wait.
Surely he didn't remember
Is he actually?
The part in the song reaches closer and closer. The moment Willow fantasized about for months, would it finally be the night?
"Wait are you sure, Jaxon?" They mumble out in realization
He slowly nods and a small small appears on my face
Their lips meet. Not as if a crashing wave, but maybe more so a gentle breeze?
Only one thought ran through both Jaxon's and Willow's minds as their fantasies became a reality
It's finally happening
Shock hits them at first. Was this even real? Who cares, it's happening and that's all that matters. Willow melts into his lips and kisses back passionately.
They say that kisses feel like exploding, or that time stops. Something along those lines
And they believed it, both of them
It's how they always imagined being kissed. Feeling the embers within their stomachs, burning with passion like no other.
But truly, to truly describe what the 2 teenagers felt that night was simply impossible. It was a feeling that the wildest of imaginations would never be able to tell. It's mixes of emotions and thoughts. Passion and desire. You can't quite pinpoint what the feeling is
And that's what makes it beautiful.
As all great things do, and this was surely a great thing, the song ended. Along with kiss the 2 teenager's shared.
For what seemed like the millionth time, Jaxon and Willow just stared into each other's eyes. It was a mutual feeling of love that they felt when they made eye contact. They just both knew how much they enjoyed one another.
"Holy shit" Jaxon muttered, just as astonished about what just happened as Willow
"Holy shit indeed" Willow joked, causing them both to laugh
"I-I don't know if you could tell from that but uhhhh. I kinda, w-well, y'know-"
"You like me?" Willow says, amused by his nervousness
"Yeah, that" He smiles
"Well it's your lucky day, dumbass. I like you too" They smile back
"Wow" Jaxon says, unable to think of any other words
"A man of many words"
The next song had already started playing, but the only thing they could hear was each other's breaths. Was it because of how close they were? Maybe. But they liked to believe that it's because they were too entranced with each other to hear anything else.
So there they were
2 dumbass teenagers
2 hearts beating
2 stomachs exploding with butterflies
And it all started out with them being

Balancing of the world
Just as humanity reached the height of its power, it fell again. Mana was introduced into a previously balanced world, sending everything present into chaos. Humanity losing its technological advantages, fell back to the dark ages, back to when survival was all but guaranteed. Mana though useful for enhancing the body isn’t unlimited, and humanity fell behind fast. From experiments, a being of mana, born into this chaotic world. The first of its kind. Rather than thriving in a world to which it belongs, it has to model the world so it will suit its needs. As a lone being, it has to use its power over mana to influence beasts and humans alike to abide by its will and further its goals. It will manipulate intelligent lifeforms to do its bidding while believing that they are becoming stronger. It will help lower lifeforms and guide their lives until they fit into the world as envisioned by our being. Read how our protagonist starts in a small area, changing it to suit its needs, and then grows until the world is balanced and at peace again. This is my first story, and I don’t have an editor yet. My English should be good enough, but I expect to have to go back and do editing later on. I would classify this story as litRPG. There will be a type of system with blue boxes and all, though the perspective is the system itself and how it came to be and why it does what it does. As a single mighty being, there will be dungeon core influences such as expanding the area and influencing all within though there is no such thing as an actual dungeon. As humanity is trying to survive, there will also be some city/base building influences, and I will have some perspective changes to show how the forces are being perceived by the affected people. As I have a busy job, it will be hard to update consistently, but I am quite a bit ahead of what I have currently uploaded.
