☾︎ i cry my eyes sore when the blue mountain's waterfalls reaches the ground,

we all have a reason of being until our bare feet gets cold standing on the graveyard of our souls,

wentworth falls mists around the sorrows i forgot i was aching from,

i ink down every second of my day, too afraid of what i'll become.

☾︎ i cry my eyes sore when i realise the oasis was just a mirage; a sunlit heaviness set in my heart,

it took seventeen years to get here, and i still feel like i'm lost, a deserted silence and insurmountable cost,

the wavering of daybreak would otherwise make me feel at home,

but i'm miles away from the streets i used to roam.

☾︎ i laugh at the peculiarities of what life has come to, i'd take years before i would forget you,

the blue mountains have peaks i spent half a life time reaching,

i'm still searching for things to believe in,

and the cliffsides will silence in a hazy view,

when i reach the summit and i would've paid my dues.
