He is a soldier, he is a navy seal, he is a machine, a fighter; but more than anything, he is a hunter.
This is Mark Johnson, of the navy seal spec ops.
He is a legend among other soldiers, a hero to newcomers of the army, and the pride and joy of the navy seals army branch.
If there is a threat, a target that has to be eliminated, it's Mark that gets called into action. He is the best, the best of the best that the US army has to offer: he is an expert strategist and marksman, proficient with almost every military gun to him available, and when he shoots, he never misses his mark. But a firearm is not the only way to kill a human being, there are so many other ways, and Johnson finds new and creative ways to cause death. He is swift and silent in his job, no witnesses, no trace is left that would lead to him. This earns him the nickname "shadow" among the marines. He has traveled over the world, more times that one could count, now he is in the act of completing his new objective, but little did he know his life would change forever that very night.
India, New Delphi, 16/6/2018,2:34 a.m.
Mark silently chocked the guard patrolling the southwest corner of the villa, the poor man struggled but it was useless and soon, he lost consciousness. Johnson approached the house ahead, silent and deadly as he creeped forward, taking out guards left and right, using brutal efficiency, without leaving living soul in his wake. He disabled cameras and alarms 'This isn't even a challenge!' he smirked. His mission was to eliminate Hank Cook, a notorious drug lord. He exported cocaine all over the world, and was one of the major figures in the international black market. Because of his control on drugs, he had gained millions of dollars. The world saw him as a man who invested in charity 'Bullshit' Hank terrorized the poor and innocent, those who could not fight back, he was a devil 'Not for long' thought the shadow. He was now in proximity of the target, his anticipation grew with excitement as he got closer to his victim.

And then everything went wrong.
His eyes caught a blue flash, and when the hot ball of plasma hit Cook, a violent explosion followed. "What the fuc-" he didn't have time to finish his phrase as other blue projectiles were shot. Soon the area was filled with screams and gunshots.
The navy seal hopped over the fence and ran into the jungle "Aborting mission, target is dead, requesting immediate evac!" "Meet up at the rendezvous point, evacuation in 5 minutes, copy over." Mark willed his legs to move faster "Copy, Shadow out." he called over the radio comm.
For the next couple of minutes he ran like hell, and then he heard a twig snap. Johnson stopped dead in his tracks, slowing his breathing as he took out his silenced desert eagle. He felt something approaching from his side and when it got closer, he snapped around and emptied his ammo magazine in the creature that was stalking him. The shots hit they're target, and the thing shimmered, before de cloaking. The figure was impossibly tall, over 7 feet, it had dreadlocks instead of hair and it's blood was green. Mark gaped for a moment as the alien growled before backhanding him. The soldier had never received a blow that strong, he then felt liquid on his face, it was blood 'That's a broken nose' he was then hoisted up by the throat.
The creature barely started examining it's prey before Shadow stabbed his k bar knife in the arm that was holding him afloat. The creature roared in pain as Mark thrust his blade repeatedly into his attacker's flesh, but was then throw back with a roar, his knife falling far away.
He picked up a thick tree branch as the predator ignited his wrist blades, "Come on!" Mark yelled as he ducked the swipe that was going to behead him, in turn he struck the Yautja in the face, stunning the predator, not wasting his chance, he hit the alien over and over again, when he broke the mask, the tree branch also broke, the hunter roared and kicked Mark into a nearby log.

The marine coughed, wheezing for air, knowing that he had a few broken ribs. The creature walked over to him, hissing like a snake, and Mark got back up and he fought the hunter, using his MMA skills to inflict damage to his opponent. Unknown to him, other Yaujta were watching. Mark received a knee to the face and he crumpled to the ground. When the predator was about to reach him Mark pulled out his revolver, shooting him in the eye, the bullet exiting the skull completely 'Another kill'
The soldier steadily lowered his heartbeat, going over the fact that he had just killed an alien.
As Mark laid against the tree trunk another figure dropped to the ground next to him.
"Shit!" Was all he said before he got hit over the head.
And then, Mark Johnson's world went dark.
