The next morning Jeremy knocked on my door and waited for a moment for me to call him in

"Andrea? Can I come in?"

"Yeah" the door opened and Jeremy walked in and sat on the edge of my bed not saying a word until he blurted out

"Andrea... I'm leaving" my head snapped up from my book and at first I thought it was a joke but then I noticed his sad expression

"W-what do you mean Jer?"

"I'm going to see some family in Denver. And I'm staying"

"Your not coming back" I whispered, tears falling down my cheeks once I realised

"Jeremy, you cant go. Y-you can't leave me here" he looks at me and doesn't say anything but held a conflicting look on his face like he almost wanted to stay

"Andrea" he started but I cut him off instantly

"No Jeremy p-please. I know we don't talk anymore, I'm sorry okay. I'll do better, I swear" he gets up out of his seat and walks over to me, embracing me

"Please" I sob, my cries muffled by his shirt

"Please don't go. I can do better. I can be better, I'm sorry Jeremy. Just don't go" he pulls back and puts his hands on either side of my face

"You will be totally fine" I shake my head dismissing whatever lies he's been telling himself to make it seem like I don't need him here

"I won't. I can't do it without you."

"Yes you can. And you will"

"I can be better" I sobbed

"It's not you. Your the last person I want to leave Andrea. It's better for me"

"Is it really?" He nods and I follow, pushing his hands off my face

"Then I won't stop you, I love you Jer"

"Andrea-" I wipe the tears from my face angry at myself for how petty I sounded

"No don't listen to me being like this. If you want to be happy be happy. I'm glad you get a chance to be happy. I love you"

"I love you too" picking up my school bag I exit the room leaving Jeremy in there

The next day Jeremy stood at the door with his bags and Bonnie and Elena behind him ready to leave. I rushed down the stairs, pushing myself into his arms and he sighed in relief tightening his grip on me

"You can still stay" I whispered but he shook his head

"I can't Andrea. I just can't" After a few minutes he pulled away and looked down at me

"I love you"

"I love you more" I whispered and he walked to the door, turning back once more before putting his bags in the car and drives off

"Andrea" Elena calls. Ignoring her i cover my eyes with my sleeves and press on my eyes, not wanting her or anyone else to see me like this

"I got to go" I mumble before exiting the house

A few days later I decided I couldn't stay in my room any longer than I have been ever since Jeremy , so I got up to go to mystic grill just for some fresh air

After getting ready I shrugged my coat on only to feel a weight in my pocket

Confused, I put my hand in and pull out a box with a small tag that says 'klaus'.

He must have put it in there when I saw him at mystic grill

I smiled and opened it before gasping at the beauty of it. It had to have been expensive. Slowly and very carefully I placed it on my wrist before admiring it and eventually leaving the house

Once I got there I sat down on a seat and pulled out my book to get the thoughts of everyone watching me out of my mind

"Rea" I heard and looked up to see klaus at the end of my booth

"Hey klaus"

"Do you mind?" He said motioning towards the empty bench in front of me

"No, of course not" he smiled sitting down and fixed his jacket

"Thank you, for the bracelet" he smiled

"You finally found it?" I nodded pulling it out from under my jumper and fiddling with it

"This morning. It's really pretty"

"It's just a boring rock compared to you love" I smiled taking my eyes off him

"Thank you"

"It's no problem"

"Do you know when rebekahs coming back?" he shook his head, lost in thought for a moment

"She's visiting our brothers at the moment, so she may be a while"

"You have brothers?"

"Yes, 3 actually"

"Really?" I asked in shock, I don't know why I'm surprised but I just automatically assumed it was just him and Rebekah

"Yes" he laughed

"Me, Rebekah and elijah are the closest though. It's always been us three" I nod taking in what he's saying

"That's really sweet" I whisper

"Sweet? Me? No you've got it wrong" I furrow my eyebrows at his words because to me he seems really nice, ever since I've met him he's been nothing but god to me. So why does he think he's bad?

"Why would you think that? You are, I wouldn't lie"

"I don't doubt that, I just think your wrong"

"Well... I think your wrong" I whispered

"You've been good to me, that makes you a good person. he looked down at his phone after hearing it ring

"Thank you, I got to take this love, I hope to see you soon" he said standing up

"You too. Thank you, for my bracelet"

"It's no problem love" he walked away from the table and someone else took his spot

"Alaric" he frowned and looked back to klaus who was making his way out of mystic grill

"Why are you talking to klaus?"

"How do you know klaus?" I asked him and he froze

"He's always in here, it's hard not to know someone who is in here all the time" I nodded slowly adding this lie to the one of many I've been told

"Oh okay, and we was just talking" I smile slightly

"He's nice"

"Nice?" His eyes look down to my wrist

"Who gave you that bracelet?"

"Klaus gave it" he furrowed his eyebrows

"He just gave it to you?" I nodded blushing slightly

"That's.. really nice of him" he said like he didn't believe that klaus could be capable of doing something like this

"I know" I whispered trying to hide my smile

Walking downstairs to get some water i widened my eyes after watching Alaric kiss someone in the living room

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry" Alaric apologised but I just brushed him off

"It's alright Alaric, don't worry about it" the woman looked between us both

"I.. better go" the woman said before leaving. After she was gone he turned to me

"Andrea. I'm so sorry, how inconsiderate of me-"

"Alaric it's okay"

"No it's not. It's your place and-"

"It's your place too. The second you decided to step up and take the role we all need, the roll I need. It became your place" He nodded

"Thank you"

Guess who's back

I immediately called her

"Missed me?"

"Where have you been? I was worried"

"Sorry. I was out of town"

"Its no big deal, just happy to know your safe, mystic falls has had a lot of deaths recently. So I was worried"

"Aw I'm flattered Andrea. Now what are we doing today?"

"I don't know"

"Hm.. how about trying out this crazy diner. I know there's mostly bad reviews on it but I want to see if it will live up to its standard" I laughed slightly

"You love criticising people that much?"

"It's in my blood. Get ready, I'll be at yours in 10" she said before hanging up and I started to get ready

1o minutes later I saw her car park outside and went to the door to answer it for her

"Hey Andrea" I heard footsteps behind me and saw; Damon, Stefan and Elena

"Rebekah? Andrea?"

"Oh hey Elena. Me and Andrea are going out" Elena looked between us with a frown

"I don't think that's a good idea" she said right in front of her

"Why not?" I asked confused

"She's a bad influence" I sighed looking at Rebekah

"Elena, please. Just... leave me alone if your going to act like this" I said before walking out.

Once we was a fair distance away Rebekah looked to me

"You don't get along?" I shook my head and buckled my seatbelt that I forgot to do prior

"We never really did, I was more closed off same with all my family. Except my aunt Jenna, and Jeremy. But Jennas dead and Jeremy skipped town so.." I sighed

"Hey, we didn't go out for you to wallow in self pity. Now let's go eat some disgusting food" I laughed leaning away

"I also have something for you" she handed me a letter and I opened it

"An invitation?" I asked looking at the piece of card

"Please join the mikealson family this evening at 7:00 o'clock for dancing, cocktails and celebration." I read

"So...?"

"I don't do dancing or cocktails" she sighed

"Come on.. you would be my plus one, but someone else beat me to it." She smiled and I looked down

"Turn it over" I flipped the note over

"I dont like celebrations"

"Come on.. it's for my family's return to mystic falls"

"Return? You've lived here before?"

"Yes but a long time ago. But we're getting off track, you need to come. I'll be so bored there without you" I thought hard for a good excuse on why not to go

"I can't" I mumbled

"Why not?"

"I.. don't have a dress" a wide smile spreader across her face

"Well my lovely Andrea. If you would take a look in the backseat" I turned around and reached over before taking the box and putting it in front of me

"Well? Are you going to open it" I sighed and opened it for it to reveal a gorgeous dress. I gasped putting the lid on instantly

"I cannot wear that. It's- it's too much" I shook my head

"Come on, Nik picked it out.. specifically for youuu" she said in a sing sing voice

"And he's already done so much for me" I protested

"Good, you deserve it Andrea. Now please come to the celebration" she pleaded

"Okay" I mumbled and she gleamed in glee
